Located on the 2nd floor of AMU PLAZA, which is beside JR Nagasaki Station. We still need to walk outside JR Nagasaki Station, and took escalator (or elevator inside AMU PLAZA, you're welcome) to 2nd floor. 5th floor of the hotel connected to restaurant floor of AMU PLAZA, very convenient. Mostly restaurant at AMU PLAZA closed at 8 PM, another choice to have late dinner at JR Nagasaki Station which closed at 10 PM (We tried BABAKE Ramen, and it was delicious).

Actually, nothing. When we first arrived, we didn't know there is an elevator inside AMU PLAZA. So, we used escalator which is difficult with children and luggage. But after checked-in, we look around hotel and found the elevator.

Located next to the electric tram (150 yen = $1.04 per ride), adjacent to the Nagasaki bus and train station, and a huge mall with many restaurant options, JR is very convenient. Lots of hot water, a short/deep bath with shower, and efficient housekeeping which you can opt out of, as needed. There is a 24-hour "7-11" shop for early coffee and late snacks nearby. Also Starbucks! The staff was attentive. The bus from the airport drops you nearby.

Mine was a single "business" room, so tiny. I wished for a reading chair.

Our family spent a quick overnight trip from Hiroshima to Nagasaki just to check out the area. The hotel is just steps away from the train lines with convenient access to the local transit system. The property is situated between two malls with numerous shopping and eating options. Nagasaki is a hidden gem with its mix of old-world charm and modern amenities. For those who are interested in architecture this region is full of classic structures, especially homes and churches. The centralized location is a perfect spot to see many of the famous sites. The staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean.

Can’t beat the location. Level 5 of the building has numerous restaurants. Next to the train station, trams outside the building and the bus station, if you need to go to the airport is under the Mitsubishi building across the road. The trams can get you to a lot of tourist sites. Room was typical of Japanese city hotels, small, but had everything you needed. Breakfast was good (at a restaurant on the 5th floor) and the staff wonderful. Reception is on the second floor, at the top of the escalator located under the big white canopy in front of the building.

Spotlessly clean, and all staff were very friendly. The location couldn't be better.

Breakfast. Although this wasn't included in our room rate, we chose to buy breakfast the first night of our stay. We were offered Japanese or Western, each with some additional buffet style items. Western consisted of a sausage, fried or scrambled egg (the latter covered with tomato ketchup - ugh!) , a cutlet (fish?), ratatouille... interesting but not quite what we'd expected compared with other Japanese hotels we'd stayed at.

The hotel location was excellent for us as we had just arrived by train from Hiroshima. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station. Buses and trams stop right out the front, and the airport bus is just across the road. The hotel is on top of a shopping and food court. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast at 2000 yen was the best value breakfast on our entire trip.

In a convenient location close to the railway station. Also close to local trams which I used frequently to get around.

Entrance is hidden and the maps takes you inside the mall. Walked around a couple times before actually getting to the entrance. Located North-West on the outside of the plaza, you can get there by walking up the stairs by the trams, following the walkway West.

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. The Hotel is located right on the Nagasaki Station, close to shops and restaurants. The lobby of the Hotel is located on the 2nd Floor of the AMU Plaza Nagasaki Main. The central location of the Hotel made going around Nagasaki very easy (including to and from the Airport). The toiletries and amenities are available at the Lobby. The staff were very helpful too. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I highly recommend this place.

Can't get more centrally located than this hotel. Reception staff spoke English, and were friendly and warm. I was able to check in a little early, which was a lovely surprise. My room was beautifully comfortable, exceeded what I expected. Hot water pressure in the bathroom was superb. The bed was delightfully comfortable. Easy access to tram, train and bus networks. Entrance is up an escalator under a white canopy, next to an entrance to a shopping area. Look for a logo which is an amalgam of H, J and R. Then you'll see a JR, Japanese characters, all underlined with a white line finishing in an arrow pointing right. That arrow points to the elevator. Go up that, and reception will be to your left. There's a good picture of all this on the listing here, just take note of it.

Signage in English for the hotel escalator would be nice, but we should adapt.

This hotel was conveniently located next to the train station, just a short walk outside and accessed via an escalator. In addition, it was surrounded by convenient food stores of all types from which to buy breakfast, if you would prefer to venture out, rather than eat at the hotel. Great little izakaya and yakitori restaurants were also a short walk away. Not only were eating establishments easily accessible, but also the numerous sights of Nagasaki. Having laundry facilities and a microwave were added home comforts that were appreciated.

The hotel, its rooms and corridors, were in good, but not excellent condition, and a little dated.
