The location was ideal for sightseeing. There was a lovely view from the kitchen window. On the main road outside there's a tram, and it is a short distance from the train station. The apartment was immaculately presented, beautifully furnished, extremely spacious and minimalist which was relaxing. The ensuite was also of an excellent standard. The communal lounge and larger kitchen upstairs was viewed, but not utilised. Other visitors were friendly. A superb accommodation choice for visiting Nagasaki.

On arrival, we had to go from the main street entrance, up the stairs (there's no lift), and found our keys in a bag with our name in view of anyone going past. Hence this is a security risk for anyone who knows this hotel. However there is a decent lock on the door to the apartment. On arrival, we saw a few friendly staff who were just leaving. There is some noise from the traffic, but not too loud for us to sleep. We were unable to work out how to use the projector for media or entertainment. In addition, it would be good to have a few more towels and bigger ones. It is requested to take linen off the bed when leaving, which was a bit unusual.

The bed was great!! Comfortable and spacious with great sized duvet, good curtains and a little lockable locker as well. The steps up to my bunk were super secure and was a nice change from a ladder. The shower was clean, comfortable and had good pressure. There was a fridge, seating area and clothes bar (for any hanging items) in our room. The laundry was amazing. All the hotels/hostels we’ve stayed in so far have had domestic drying machines that haven’t dried our clothes properly. This place had Laundromat dryers that worked a treat!! We were also in the room when we seen the cleaners cleaning out the bunks of people that had checked out. They were so friendly and super thorough with the clean which was great to see. It was self check in which was very simple. It’s also really close to the main train station and lots of bus routes. Would honestly stay here again in a heartbeat.

The steps. There was no lift up to our floor which we did know about in advance but lugging up 2 heavy suitcases was definitely difficult. The pillows were super soft so I honestly had to double it over to feel like my head wasn’t on the mattress but I do tend to like a firmer pillow so that could just be personal preference. Our room (401) could have done with a fresh lick of paint. The room you pass to get to the laundry (402) and the laundry area and shower had a bit more modern decour.

My friend and I booked the female only dormitory, it was super clean, comfortable, with lockers inside your booth and a curtain for privacy. There’s also a shower and toilet (separate) inside the female only rooms and two sinks so you don’t need to share lavatories with men. The self check in/check out procedures was super straightforward and translated into your chosen language. Location wise, super close to the port, a few restaurants and cafes around, and super well connected by tram or walk to everything you want to see in Nagasaki. Facilities were great, there’s a shared kitchen and you can use the laundry machines. It’s great value for money and super comfortable.

Some people really need to understand that post 11pm is quiet time but of course that can’t be the hotel’s fault. I’d just suggest they put a sign next to the light or the hair dryer to not turn it on after 10 or 11pm because that would maybe discourage some people.

I was checking in quite late, which was no problem. Everything was perfectly arranged for self check-in. The beds are well designed and clean, with sink and door to bathroom and shower in the same room. The common room had a hammock which I really liked. The kitchen seemed big and well equipped. The location was just perfect for exploring the city in one day.

The self check-in led to a feeling of being less “hosted” which was not a real problem though. I had a very kind man (manager?) asking me about how I am and how my stay was on the second day. The only two minor things are that you’ll have to pass a building site on the way up (soon gone probably) and that the door to the shower was right opposite my pillow, so make sure to pack good earplugs.

I had a great time at Casa Noda. The staff is friendly and gave me great restaurant recommendations. It's a social hostel, where it's easy to meet people. It was always clean (dorm and common room). The location is perfect, on a main street. Walked to all the places I wanted to visit. Port is near, so perfect for an excursion to Gunkanjima. Liked it so much, I spent an extra night there! Plus, there's a lot to do in and around Nagasaki :)

Best IKEA bed ever. The most comfortable capsule hotel I have ever been to. Free coffee and matcha! There's a locker with a personal lock near your bed.

No elevator at all and I stayed on the fourth floor. The staircase is narrow too. There are all necessary items in the shared kitchen but most of them are not stocked properly. I had to stock sugar myself and this is the first time I have done this at a hotel.

The location is great! Walking distance to the main train station, the wharf, and china town (I was visiting for the Red Lantern Festival). The price was very reasonable and the beds were fairly comfortable compared to my last hostel stay.

As others have mentioned, you aren't likely to meet any staff upon arrival which is fine if you have a device you can use to Check-In. I appreciated the locker, and the ability to leave luggage in the common space before and after checkout, but it would be nice to have more lockable space for luggage. That may be a little nit-picky though.

The nicest type of solid, private bunk. Washer and dryer available. Useful kitchen. Comfy lounge. Close to everything.

It's upstairs and so I had to lock my bike on the street, but as this is Japan, no problem. Building work going on downstairs to extend the hostel, with some noise and smells in the day. I guess it will finish soon enough.

Comfortable. Central. Very close to bus/train stations. Immediate email responses from CN. Easy check in/out. Sockets and light inside bed capsule. Bright and light sitting area. Kitchenette area, albeit limited to two electric rings, fridge and microwave. Fridge and kettle in dorm. Good, hot shower.

Oh dear! The stairs!

One of my favorite hostels I stayed. Loved how spacious the capsules are I could fit my entire backpack inside. Really clean great facilities and amenities. Easy self check in process!

Not much to dislike other than closing the common room after 12am. Would be nice if it could stay as 24hrs
