Great location and the room was very spacious comparing to other standard hotel rooms in Japan. As the hotel is in an older building, the interior of the rooms were also quite old. However, this was not a problem for us as everything was very clean and just giving you that 70s/80s vibe (which is nice!). Check in and check out was done with a self-serve machine - but fret not as there is always someone at the reception to help you (exception for late night check-in, just need to give a heads up to the hotel).

We stayed here during peak summer of Japan (Obon holiday). Our room was on the highest floor and somehow the aircon was a bit struggling to cool down the room. Probably room for improvement to install better insulation.

The "single rooms" are all on the 11th floor, far away from traffic noise and with a fabulous view (mine was of Dejima). It is small and very efficient and I actually like being able to reach the teapot from the bed. The lighting is perfect (plenty and easy to control). The window opens. The heater is quiet. There is a big desk with a comfortable chair, and the mirror/light make it easy to apply cosmetics. In summary, if I were to design an affordable hotel in a big city, this is exactly how I would do it. The tram is out the front door (Y600 day pass can be purchased at reception). The location is next to Dejima (discount tickets available at reception), near Chinatown, near the wharf (which has a variety of restaurants with amazing views). I took the bus up to Mt. Inasa lookout from here, which was very convenient.

Great hotel nearby Nagasaki harbour, 850m by foot from Nagasaki station. Room was very comfortable, had even charging cables from USB to Lighting. Fantastic breakfast with lots of options. They even had Natto! Downside: lots of single use tableware. Wifi was excellent. Staff super friendly and helpful, they helped me change rooms as my initial one was pretty loud from the street. Or helped me how to get to a big onsen on the hill. Would go here again if in Nagasaki.

Room windows don’t seem soundproof. My first room towards the big street was so loud, I couldn’t think of sleeping. Try to get a room away from the big main street. „Belleview“ - but there is no view.

I really liked the location. It is two stops on the tram (everyone loves trams!) from the JR line. It is a short walk to the Dejima museum, the harbour for a walk, getting to the Peace Park/Museum on the tram. The shopping streets are a short walk away too. I got quite settled there for the five nights I was there and could watch the world goodbye from my window. Good shower and bathroom. They have bath salts for the bath which I have found in any other hotel in this trip. Definitely would recommend it.

I really like the location. It's in the centre of the city, close to a department store and the tram stop, and you can get the direct bus to/from the airport as well. The room was right size for one person and it has everything you need. All the amenities are at the reception area, where you can also check the map of Nagasaki and its attractions, and there are lockers too. Staff seemed very friendly and polite, it's self check-in service but they can help if you need.

The only thing I would say is the pillow was a little flat and soft for my liking.

The breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were friendly. There was also the opportunity to wash and dry clothes, and they offer free luggage storage in secure, locked boxes at the front of the reception. I liked the location, as it was close to the bus stop, a shopping center, and the port.

The equipment in the room was older, but everything was clean. One wall had a small mark from previous guests, which could be fixed with repainting during a future renovation. This was the only noticeable issue, but it wasn't a problem for me.

Location is close to the Nagasaki JR station and right in front of the Ohato streetcar station. Very convenient for getting around town. I requested to have two rooms near each other which the hotel was able to accommodate. The rooms were clean and cozy with nice deep tubs. In the lobby are free amenities such as scented bath salts and other toiletry items. We opted to get breakfast during our stay and the selections rotated each day between two menus (if I recall correctly). Good breakfast. Check in and out was easy. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nagasaki.

While I understand that the hotel is trying to reduce the amount of food waste they produce, I do not believe the answer is all the single use plastics that each breakfast item is packed in. I think it would be better to put up signs advising guests to only take what they will eat and have those same small portions arranged in a chafing dish, steamer basket, serving container, etc. instead.

Neat, central and convenient, with an ice machine too! My room had a reasonable city view as well.

The breakfast was super-unusual in having all dishes presented in wasteful portion-controlled packaging. The food itself was generally alright but upon finishing there was a pile of paper and plastic containers on the tray to throw away. Inexplicably, staff also mandated the use of hand sanitizer before selecting food...

Breakfast was amazing, staff was exception (with most possessing good grasp of English), location was in the middle of the city and parking was provided at a nominal charge.

Child policy. Due to our family composition of having 3 children, we were forced to get two rooms. However, we would have been happy and would have preferred to have been in one room. The second room was not necessary since one of our two rooms had enough beds and a pull-out sofa. For children under 6, customers should be given the option to allow 1-2 children to share bed facilites if desired. Not a major issue, but something to consider for the future. Thank you.

This was a fine stay. Solid, clean, no major problems. The location is convenient and close to lots to do. Everything seemed a little dated, but still very functional and maintained.

My only issue was that the bed was a little hard and the single pillow was hard and small. Not the biggest issue, and I've slept on way worse mattresses, but worth noting if you really hate a hard mattress.
