The room has a lot of hangars and hooks which was a godsend for me. It had free VOD movies so I had the option of relaxing at night in my room watching western movies in English. Their Coin Laundry service was inside the building and their dryer actually dried my clothes completely. The room was also very quiet since you can turn off the fridge which was great for a light sleeper like me.

I had some trouble communicating to the staff in English but this is minor since I was a guest in their country and can't expect them to speak English fluently for me. The windows weren't properly fitted it seems. One windy night I had to wear ear plugs because the windows kept making loud noises.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they also spoke very good English, so a translator wasn't necessary for most things. The breakfast buffet was nice, but the western options are limited, but you can order a delicious omelette or fried eggs (no additional charge); the only odd thing about the breakfast is, they didn't have juice, only fake apple juice from a soda machine, but there is a Lawson around the corner where you can buy some orange juice. The Location is amazing, the Ohato Bus/Tram stop is nearby, you can pretty much go anywhere in the city from there, including the Airport with a nice travel bus (the bus is usually 5-10 minutes late though and we got to the Airport 15 minutes behind schedule). The Ohato ferry terminal is also within walking distance, you can go to Hashima (Gunkanjima) from there, I'd really recommend doing that, it was amazing (you have to book it in advance to get a ticket). The elevator doesn't require a key card to operate, how refreshing, I really hate that all hotels do this. The room was very spacious for an APA Hotel, my room had a huge window sill where I could put a lot of stuff, it was like a huge shelf that was conveniently next to the bed. I don't know if this was just an accident or a feature, but when I got to my room, the switch where you normally put the room keycard to turn on the power for the room already had a card in it, so I didn't need to put my own keycard in it, that was quite convenient.

While we were there, the restaurant always had some events going on in the evening, I wouldn't plan on ever being able to eat dinner at the Hotel, but there are many great dinner options in the area. I would highly recommend the Indian Restaurant MILAN on the 5th Floor of the AMU Plaza next to Nagasaki Station, it was really delicious food and very affordable. The room was quite dusty, I think the house keeping needs to do a better job cleaning.

This hotel looked like it had been renovated recently. Everything was clean and in really good condition. The room is small but was big enough for two. The bed was comfortable and the location was good, close to the Dutch village and Chinatown, but easy walking distance to lots if restaurants. The trams are easy to use, go anywhere forward for y150 ea. It was a 20min walk from the train station.

The restaurant only served breakfast not dinner.

Excellent hotel for the price we paid and right by the harbour front and the former Dutch Trading Post. It is easy to get to using the tram (Ohato stop) and the shuttle bus is just 2-minutes around the corner. The rooms are quite small but very comfortable, clean and well furnished. To access the wifi, switch on the tele and you will see the instructions on the screen. The staff are very polite and helpful and let us leave our luggage until midday when we checked out. Highly recommend.

First time in a hotel with guests' information on the screen. Facilities were complete and can be used with ease. Staffs are all accommodating and courteous. Morning breakfast was good, all food delicious. Given a chance, I will book in this hotel agsin.

Upon check in on Day 1, they forgot that we are couple, there was only one set of toiletries. But nonetheless, it was tolerable.

Very convenient location, near a tram stop. Walking distance to Dejima Museum and Chinatown. Easy access to airport bus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast selection.

The heating was not sufficient during a very cold week in Nagasaki, as air seems to come through the window eventhough windows are closed. However, I requested a portable heater which helped.

The location of the hotel is perfect when visiting during the Kunchi festival. It's also near all the major locations that you might visit as a general tourist (Dejima, Pier, etc). Highly recommend. Also the shower and bath were quite large for a standard room.

A fantastic location super close to Dejima and the Nagasaki harbour. Super close to local public transport and You Me mall. The room was comfortable, slightly bigger than APA hotels in Tokyo. Great shower.

My husband is coeliac, he can't eat gluten. The restaurant did not have any GF options, so we ate at the You Me mall.

please consider a including a selection of fresh fruit at the breakfast buffer - the tinned fruit is not good. Also hard boiled eggs (boil for 3 minutes) would be preferable to soft boiled onsen eggs, and consider adding a bowl of scrambled eggs

Great location, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was decent size, bed was comfortable, everything was clean, breakfast had lots of choices. I would recommend this property.

The bread they served at breakfast was not good could definitely use an upgrade on their bread stuffs
