The hotel brings a very good mix of Western and Japanese to the table, being run together with JAL. Staff was courteous to me, a non-Japanese, but not getting over themselves with warmth or joy. That said, the rooms are very large by Japanese standards and have all the amenities you could like available in the lobby. The bathroom is nothing short of amazing in my opinion by Japanese standards, with enough room for taller people to sit on the toilet comfortably and a shower that's very thoughtfully installed. The beds are comfy, and the lighting with the focal wall is nice. The hotel offers a same day laundry service, which returns your laundry very clean and neatly folded. The lighting and room setting systems are very clear, intuitive and well designed, with the hotel giving a very clean, modern, understated vibe.

While located very nicely, the hotel is at risk of being swallowed up by a competitor. It's a bit hard to find when it's surrounded by three towers of a hotel next to it. Perhaps as a result of this, while clean, the room I had did have some smudges and wear and tear that hadn't been taken care of. They're nothing deal-breaking, but a keen eye will spot them easily.

- I wish they would have good lighting that covers the whole length of the mirror/counter in the bathroom. The space you can use to apply makeup is dark - The receptionist kept addressing my male partner instead of me, even though I was the one talking to him and handing him our passports, etc. He even tried to give the passports back to my partner instead of me. Not a super big deal, but still odd - Not close to many restaurants

Room is superclean. Breakfast is delicious. Hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Fushimi subway is the nearest to hotel. Use Exit 10 if you carry heavy luggage cos there is a lift. 15 mins walk. But if travelling light, use exit 8 as its slightly nearer to hotel. 41 steps up stairway.About 10mins walk to hotel

I like the location, which is very close to the airport limousine, Fushimi Station, and Nagoya Station. There is also a Don Quijote nearby, along with many convenience stores in the area. I love the variety of food served during the buffet breakfast, and all of the staff are incredibly helpful and fluent in English. Additionally, there is an amenities bar in the lobby offering everything from drinks to cosmetics. The currency exchange machine in the lobby also offers excellent rates. I also appreciate the two slipper options, the free water in the room, and the heated toilet seat with bidet. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

There were other guests in the hotel who reeked of smoke and often left their scent in the elevator. But apart from that, I liked everything else about the hotel.

Clean and fairly big room for japan standards. Possible to lay out the luggages on the floor and still have room to walk around. Beds were comfortable and toilet had a rain shower and bath tub. The smart tv could be connected to one's netflix account without having to relogin each time. Located on a quiet street about 10minutes walk from Fushimi station and easy to get to all major attractions like Ghibli Park, Atsuta Shrine, Legoland etc.

Nearest coin laundry is located 5 minutes walk away and can be a hassle when it rains. But possible to go shopping at the nearby donki while waiting for the laundry to be done to minimise walking multiple times.

When I booked it, I thought it was closer to the main station than it actually was. More like a 15-20 min walk. A shuttle or connection would be handy.

The room was spacious compared to other hotels in the area and was well-designed with thoughtfully arranged furniture and amenities. The breakfast offered a good variety and was quite appetizing. The staff provided excellent service, with special praise for the breakfast room attendants and the older gentleman managing the hotel parking lot. Their exceptional care and attentiveness made the stay memorable and left a strong desire to return to this hotel if given the chance.

Overall, I was very impressed with this hotel. The room, breakfast, staff, and location were all excellent.

Hands down best accommodation we got in Japan! Spacious room with amazing amenities! They even had bath salts you can use to put in the bath tub. 7 eleven and ministop just next to the hotel. The nearest train station is about 5~10min walk. But we ended up walking to most places e.g. Nagoya station and Sakae. It's about 20min walk but it's the same time via train and we didn't mind the walk. Coin laundry is about 5min walk but there's a small Don Quijote next to it so you can kill time there. Bucyo coffee is a 5min walk too. If you don't mind walking a little bit this place is so worth it. The bed was so comfortable and shower was amazing.

The room is very spacious. It's big for Japan size. Our room even had pull out bed (but we only found out on our last night of stay). The staff were accommodating and can speak good English. They help you with your questions and concerns. The hotel is also very accessible or easy to go to the airport since it's the first stop of the airport bus. You just have to walk a block away and easy pick up versus bus or cab to Nagoya station then train. It has a good izakaya place across and a Ministop nearby.

There weren't shopping malls nearby but the location was accessible to both ends (Nagoya station and Sakae, Mitsukoshi area).
