You truly get your money's worth in this hotel. Location-wise, it is very accessible to train stations - Sakae station on the Higashiyama line and Hisayaodori station on the Sakuradori line. There are multiple kombinis like 7-11, Family Mart, and Daily Yamazaki (nearest, just across the street from the hotel) around so there's always food available 24/7. The area itself is lively, bright, and full of people, but not crowded. It is not spotless clean, but the litter somehow adds to the charm of Sakae. The room I got comes with free buffet breakfast every day. They serve hearty options like curry rice, sausages, a variety of breads, soups, and coffee. They also have free coffee all day until 9PM! The room itself, as expected, is compact, but it gets the job done. Mine specifically at 618 gets you a really pretty view of the Mirai Tower. I think that was the best part of the room. There are available vendo machines (no alcohol though) and coin-operated laundry too. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay here! The staff too are very helpful! Shoutout to the staff who complimented my Fleetwood Mac shirt when I arrived! It really brightened my sleep-deprived mood :)

Nothing major. There's a stale smell in the bathroom that I think came from the shower curtains. I gave it a quick rinse and it was gone. Just do it again when you're going to take a bath and air out the bathroom before and after bathing to get rid of the smell.

The free breakfast was pretty good. Coin-operated laundry and vending machines were nice. The staff were very kind and attentive. They did their best to provide help and service when needed. They had a delivery service in where they were kind to help fill in the form for me in Japanese. They were always very kind and friendly.

Rooms was a little bit more cramped than the usual. The pillows were half beads and half normal. The blankets were a bit thin or lower quality. The fridge was a bit too small so you could barely fit anything, even drinks. The comforter below the bedsheet quite on moving out of its place which made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

- Some rooms (maybe on higher floors) are dated and needs a bit of maintenance - A bit of a walk from the elevators in Hisayaodori subway station - Located at the bar area of Nagoya, so may be a bit uncomfortable for others who are not used to seeing drunk office workers sprawled on the streets while walking from Donki

The Location of the hotel is near shopping area.Lots of things to see and buy like books-off Free breakfast at this price is gd.Staff is friendly.Everything in the room works.

Nothing with the hotel but the exit point of the metro station should have some elevator aka lift. I found one 1km away hidden in some shopping mall.In the end I just roll my bag down the stairs instead.Joking...

Melas were reasonable for the price. Staff in the kitchen were helpful when I spilled hot coffee over my pants. Very good job in cleaning the room. Free coffee was available. Good access to two different Subway lines.

Laundry room and washers/dryers need to be cleaned more frequently. Room was too small. Environment around the hotel is not that good.

Front staffs remembered me and listened to my requests very carefully. Dining room people treat guests with courtesy although breakfast itself needs to be made a little more "attractive".

One day I woke up in the middle of the night as I heard snoring sounds from the next door. However, I cannot complain as I also do snore (lol).

Breakfast was good and the location was also perfect, just between Sakae station & Hisayaodori station! Staff are very courtious and friendly especially to foreigners like me

I like the room, it was clean and the view of the mirai tower was seen from the 7th floor. Also the free breakfast. It's very convinient lots of atractions. That's why we extend another 2days in the hotel.

location is very convenient, near tourist spots and subway stations to get to other places. staff is very accommodating, breakfast is nice, room is not as spacious but is good for the value. highly recommended.
