Great hotel right near train station which isn’t busy! Enough space in the hotel room, great shower, great location with a supermarket right downstairs and several bus stations nearby. We stayed in 2 rooms with our 3 kids and enjoyed our stay!

I stayed in a west-facing corner room, and the panorama of the city was beautiful, especially in that thunderstorm. The bathroom is spacious and very modern, the beds were comfy, and the room had every amenity I ever wanted, even a big Dyson fan for when the AC is too much. The hotel has a coin laundry, and right next to it is a 24-hour convenience store. It's a one-minute walk from the JR Nara Station and the big bus terminal with all of their services like the tourist office or the very nice supermarket. There are many restaurants (don't skip Menya Ryu!) nearby.

The bathroom facilities -- the shower and the bathtub - offer best value for money. The work desk, though small, is functional enough for doing actual work. Wifi connection is good. The kettle, the teabags and the amenities are well equipped and maintained. The location is excellent - 2 mins' direct access to the station.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with the sound-proofing setup of the hotel. The weekend I stayed was full house. A lot of people came in and out. I heard other guests speak loudly in the hallway. This may be due to individual behaviour, which has nothing to do with the hotel.

Location was perfect - right next to Nara train station. Lots of food options throughout the day (even in the evening). A short 20-25min walk to the main tourist area. There’s reasonably priced parking nearby at the train station. We had an issue with the blinds not working properly but the staff were excellent in resolving it while we were out. Modern and clean.

They don’t seem to have very big rooms for large families, but our room was comfortable enough for our family of four (two adults and two preschool kids). No onsite parking, but there’s reasonably priced parking nearby.

From JR Nara station, we can walk west on the direct bridge to get to the hotel's 2nd floor. The lobby is on the 3rd floor by elevator. The rooms are accessible from another exclusive elevator for guests. Luggage storage before check-in and checking-in are all smooth. The room has good size, and facilities are comfortable. On the ground floor, there's a big combini and not too far away from the station there's a much bigger supermarket. There's also the bus terminal with many lines of buses that can take us to Nara park, Todaiji, etc. It couldn't have been more convenient.

The room was very nice modern, beautiful, modern bathroom. There were large windows that brought lots of light into the room.

The room was quite small, the photos made the room look much larger. We had two twin beds and one 'sofa'. One bed was right up against the wall with the bathroom, no nightstand. The 'sofa' was like a long bench. There was enough room from the door straight to the bathroom. They put big windows in the bathroom AND windows from the bathroom to the sleep area - it was the only way to get sunlight into the room... so you needed to pull down the shade to get privacy in the bathroom and shower. The 'closet' is very small [but some hotels don't even give your anywhere to hang anything, so this was a plus. There was no place to actually store any luggage

The hotel itself is nice and everything very clean. Located just beside the JR Nara station, the location is convenient. We enjoyed our two night stay.

The bed and blanket are very comfortable, with the exception of the pillows which are not only bad but terrible. It's the only detail that I have to complain about. Other than this, it was a very nice room. I requested if we could have a late check-out, only 20 minutes after the normal time, and my request was promptly denied. I found this to be absurd considering during our stay I only saw maybe six other guests at this 11-floor hotel. Obviously they were not urgently needing the room as the hotel was empty. I dislike when hotel staff are robotic in this way, without any flexibility. As someone who works in the hospitality business myself, I see no good reason for this. Terrible customer service.

Room size, location

We really enjoy our stay here and will come back again if we are around. The staff are really easy to talk to and very helpful. We booked two rooms, one Japanese style and one Western style. There were a couple cleaning issues I saw and would like feedback so they can improve. I was shocked the cleaning staff wearing their outside shoes on the Tatami in the Japanese room. I thought they meant to be for barefoot. Also the carpet in the Western room was not clean at all. Might need a steam clean rather than vacuum.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel which was close to the train station and in a great location for access to transport services. Our room was lovely and we had everything we needed. The staff on reception were welcoming and polite at all times.

There wasn't anything in particular that we did not like. My one comment relates to the breakfast. With regards to this and as more and more overseas visitors are travelling to Japan, it would be good if the hotel could consider expanding the variety of breakfast options. Eating the local food for breakfast can at times, feel quite challenging.

Liked the location. Directly next to the station where there are plenty of stores and restaurants. Also convenient because we wanted to take the train to Kioto next. And from the station you can take a city bus to Nara Park where the deer are. And then walk back. The hotel room was a bit bigger than normally, which was nice. Also the beds were nice and soft. Very comfortabel!

Only thing I can think of are the curtains which don’t close off the sunlight in the morning 100% but only 90%.
