Overall very happy. The hotel is well located and stone throw away from underground station. The Hotel offer free alcohol follow by free ramen at night. So its hassle free with freebie. The alcohol free flow is decent stuff too, draught japenese beer, sake, plum wine, whisky and other hard sprits. Also free ice cream for children. The Ramen is not bad given its free, just need to queue up for it. Due to the free food, the reception or meeting area is abit tiny, but I am happy this way. There is laundry (i haven't check out), a roof garden (good for looking out to the osaka tower) and free gym and hot spring. Its great with what we are paying. I am happy with it. There is a wet market close by, so we can buy sashimi and some famous Shushi restaurant to check out too. Plenty of convenient shop around and cash point for money. As mentioned the Osaska old tourist tower is close by so one tourist spot checked. Also to mention the hotel is next to a 24hr supermarket, so very handy. I will go back to it with no doubt. Its not the luxury type, but for a family to explore japan and expo and providing the decent support accommodation with free food and drink are more than helpful.
Its abit busy especially when they are serving free drinks and food, but it will be hash to complaint about it. I am normally picky but still find this hotel quite enjoyable and fulfilled my needs. Its good.

This hotel offers an exceptional stay with its prime location, just 2 minutes from the train station. The surrounding convenience stores provide easy access to snacks and essentials, perfect for travelers. Inside, guests can enjoy immersive cultural activities like Kimono dressing, adding a unique touch to our experience. To top it off, the hotel serves free ramen every night, making evenings cozy and memorable. Perfect for families with small kids!
The main issue was the poor Wi-Fi quality, as there was almost no connection inside the rooms. When we spoke to hotel reception, they attributed the problem to the high number of guests staying at the hotel during that period.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Clean, comfortable, convenient, very well serviced, friendly, incredibly polite and accomodating front desk staff (as are all Japanese folk). The hotel offered free drinks from 5pm to 8.30 pm - spirits, beer, pre- mixed cocktails, wine and soft drinks, as well as all day tea and coffee and ice cream. From 9pm - 10pm they served up free ramen, which was delicious. The onsen was open until late in the evening, too. The hotel was within a minute of a metro station, and within a short walk to ‘restaurant Central’, where there were some excellent eating places, as well as a shopping street, This was such a good find- I don’t think we could have found anything better in Osaka.
Nothing, it was just perfect for our needs.

Children stays for free. My son loved the breakfast. Some people complain that its noisy and crowded in the eating area but if you are there with kids and family and a group of friends, its a nice cafeteria setting. No worrying about making too much noise. Location was close to transit which was great, and my son loved the onsen. Onsen and massage chairs got busy at night, but if you go in the morning, its very quiet and relaxing. Lego for borrowing for kids was a plus, and I like how they had all these kids items available.
We actually stayed in a twin room with two beds. It was a bit cramped because we had so much luggage for the three of us. The onsen was in a different building so you have to walk across a small alley way outside. It would get scary if I wasn't with my whole family and I would assume it would be cold during the winter. Wished the free flow alcohol would shift later into the evening like till 9pm as we were always busy during the day to return for the free alcohol. A lot of people would buy dinner and bring it back during free alcohol and the tables would all be taken. A lot of people eat peanuts with their beer, so if your kids have peanut allergy, you need to watch out.

We had a fantastic stay at Hinode hotel! We loved the breakfast selection, and the kids enjoyed various activities. The rooms were well equipped. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They made calls for me to check opening hours, helped with sending suitcases - altogether, very professional and service minded. The area was also very nice, we really enjoyed the Shinsekai market area with its Showa era - vibes and everything around. We have traveled a lot in Japan before, and Hinode Hotel was one of the better places we stayed. We will definitely be back next time in Osaka!
The bed was just a bit small for 2 adults, but comfortable otherwise. It could get crowded in the elevator area during certain times due to larger groups of travelers, and long queue when free Ramen was offered. But thas was just as expected, and I guess the tour groups are an issue in most business hotels in Japan.

The perks! 🥰 Free unlimited drinks, ice cream and ramen and free use of the onsen. Although we couldn’t use the onsen as we’re family of 3 with a small boy and don’t want to leave one behind. But we enjoyed these freebies at night and I’m still missing the best miso ramen I’ve tasted in Osaka until now. The onsen is actually on the other building if you want to use it which we didn’t had time but it’s a good one to experience next time. The hotel is not a modern building with a big lobby and modern design but easy to check in and out. The room is small with Japan standard but the beds are so comfortable to sleep in. No fancy views from the room but has all the facilities needed like laundry room, 24hrs use of microwave, hot and cold drinks at the lobby. We tried the breakfast once, the food was nice but it’s the same everyday so we didn’t book it for the rest of our stay. Location was good as it’s nearby to train station, 2 nearby convenience stores and around 13mins walk to namba parks and maybe 2 mins walk to Tsutenkaku tower.
Onsen is located on the other building literally crossing the main hotel at the back side, not really an issue but would be nice if the same building. No hotel views but quiet neighborhood. It can be crowded in the evening due to its free perks but if you’re ok with that then all can be managed.

Amazing place, pretty convenient location that's right next to Tsutenkaku, so really easy to take a walk over there. My room in particular had really nice view of Tsutenkaku from the big window as well. The room is HUGE for Japan standards, almost twice the size of my Tokyo room lol, plenty of space for suitcases and other stuff. Top floor is free access with the garden platform that can see Osaka from high up. Not to mention they actually give you SO much free stuff, it's crazy. Despite me saying cleaning is not necessary, free bottles of water and towels were hung outside my door every single day to the point I couldn't finish the waters. Free unlimited ramen each night and different flavors depending on the day. Free drinks and teabags in the lobby with hot and cold water dispensers. Free onsen open almost throughout the entire day was spacious and relaxing after long days of walking. Free activities every single day of the week, best of them is definitely the kimono one, you get to choose an outfit and they help you put it on. Other activities were also fun to participate in. Staff were very kind and helpful and spoke good English. I was able to buy stuff on Amazon and pick them up at the front desk. Hands down best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Will DEFINITELY choose this place again.

We had a great experience at Osaka Hinode Hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing. We had a food allergy incident at 4 a.m., and the receptionist on duty was incredibly helpful, went above and beyond by calling hospitals, assisting us with contacting our travel insurance, and offering support throughout the situation. A big thank you to the staff, especially to that receptionist (unfortunately, I don’t remember his name). The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. They also offer complimentary drinks, which is a nice touch. The hotel does get quite busy during certain hours, but it adds to the lively atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay. The friendly and helpful staff and the hot spring onsen is exceptional!! The breakfast has amazing variety, and the evening free alcohol and ramen/ice cream and soda cocktails for kids is great! The WiFi could be better, but maybe that was due to me staying on 17F. I stayed in a twin single with me and my 10 year old l. The room was really clean and cosy, the shower was great on both pressure and temperature. Perhaps a touch on the small side but it was great for what we needed. The beds were comfortable but I do prefer softer pillows. Over all a great stay thank you.
