I really like that it’s walking distance towards two train stations (JR Namba and Namba Stn) during my stay. If you love walking then you get to Dotonbori just by walking. The room that I booked was enough for me ( using small luggage) . The staff are quite friendly and accommodating specially Miss Joyce. She very insightful of places to go around Kansai or even in Osaka. She and her team prepare free snacks that I enjoy and made me decide to buy as souvernirs.

For me, solo traveler, it was perfect accommodation for me. I believe those who will have Big luggages or group will have slight difficulty especially room are small but it still manageable.

The room was clean. The space was sufficient, but will appreciate more space to store our luggages. The toilet was a little cramp, but everything was there: bathtub, shower, sink, toilet with bidet, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap. No major complaints The hotel staff were all pleasant and easy to talk to. I had our luggages forwarded by a third-party service provider and the staff were kind enough to store our luggage and to turn it over to said service provider after we checked out. The location was so convenient. It’s near the Namba Station, the JR station, Dotonbori, Don Quijote and convenience stores!

It was a super minor inconvenience that we really didn’t mind at all. But I guess the lack of view on the window prevented us from knowing if the sun is still up or not, without looking at our watches. The mattress on the upper bunk bed feels a little stiff, but not too stiff that will cause back-aches. For a short stay, it’s enough.

Great place to stay just 5-10 minute walk to the nearest subway station, it's walking distance to Dotonburi area but still within a very quiet area so location is top notch. Staff extremely friendly, considerate and helpful, they offered an early check-in as the rooms were available 2 hours before official checkin time. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice A/C working perfectly.

There is really nothing to dislike per se but if you travel with big luggage then the room will be very small and walking around it will be tough, it is true that rooms in Japan are mostly very small and this one is no exception.

It was a great location. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and we get a cleaning when we asked for it. This was my first stay in Japan so cant compare to different room sizes, but there were enough space to put our backpacks and walk around the backpacks. When i first booked the double room, I didn’t see that it was advertised as a single bed(120cm). I find this a bit weird. However after contacting the hotel, we changed to a bigger room with a bigger bed (140cm) with paying bit extra. That was the only thing for me.

We stayed here four times during our trip in and around Osaka. There was no reason to switch or try other places because it was the perfect pick from the start. The rooms are super clean, even by Japan standards. We had the best sleep here and the beds are very comfortable. Definitely worth the price. The service is impeccable. Joyce and the whole staff were so helpful and accommodating. When our travel plans changed, we had to switch our reservation at Meander to a different date. I sent an email and received a confirmation within 15 minutes. They were also able to store our luggage and transfer it to another city so we could travel hands-free. Every time we needed something, we felt it was done with a genuine desire to help. The location is also great. It's a walking distance from Namba station, where you can go anywhere. It's removed from the hassle of the central streets so it's very quiet, but also just a few minutes walk away from the main shopping and entertainment areas.

We booked on the same day as our previous accomodation fell through - a great decision that saved our day. The staff were lovely and our small room fit the three of our family (bunk bed with a single on top and double underneath). The price was great for a last minute swap (we stayed off season). We had a private bath/toilet which was clean and well kept. The highlight was the lounge in the lobby, we had convenience store dinner there both times and there was unlimited coffee and hot water available plus a microwave and a small fridge in our room. We also did our laundry and the dryer actually worked well! We went to Universal Studios Japan and it took about 30-40 minute to get there by subway - convenient considering the size of Osaka! It was also close to Dottonburi.

We loved everything but keep in mind that as with all stays in Japan, the space is limited and you may struggle with large suitcases.

On a quiet street just a few blocks to the action in Namba. Good local restaurants just a few blocks away. A few blocks more to busier tourist areas and Dotonburi. Lobby is lively with 24 hr water and coffee/tea. Staff are helpful and friendly. Not sure if lucky with neighbors but room was very quiet. Zero noise issues, which was great.

Wifi in room was sub-par. Much better speeds in lobby. To me, this is basically unacceptable. But at least the lobby was somewhat comfortable to work.

Great location, near to Dotonbori and 2 subway lines (Osaka metro and JR). Amazing helpful staff. Lots of free amenities and refreshments in the lobby. Rooms were really clean and comfy, quite spacious for Japan standards. There was no iron but there was a pants press available, as well as coin laundry and luggage storage services. We requested for luggage delivery service and the staff was really helpful in arranging it!

Almost nothing! Everything at this hotel was so great I'm so happy I chose it. However I just have a couple of suggestions to make my review a 10/10: - Please place hand soap in the toilet (there is none so we had to use bath soap) - Please place more cups in the bathroom to store our toothbrushes Other than these minor improvements, I would say this hotel was pretty much perfect! Highly recommend it to everyone looking to stay in Osaka 😄 **something to note, the upper bunk of the bunk bed is quite near to the ceiling, taller guests may reconsider booking this room. We are Asian girls so this wasn't an issue for us.

We were met by lovely staff who were really helpful. We got a quiet end room and it was clean and minimalist. The utilities like toothbrushes etc were at reception so they didn’t go to waste having fresh ones in each room every day. Also very close to the station!

The room was just very small, which is typical of the city so I didn’t mind it too much. It would have been great if the bath and toilet were in different spaces but the set up was new enough that it didn’t really matter anyway. Also I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning even with the instructions, but to be fair I didn’t call down and ask
