Great place to stay just 5-10 minute walk to the nearest subway station, it's walking distance to Dotonburi area but still within a very quiet area so location is top notch. Staff extremely friendly, considerate and helpful, they offered an early check-in as the rooms were available 2 hours before official checkin time. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice A/C working perfectly.

There is really nothing to dislike per se but if you travel with big luggage then the room will be very small and walking around it will be tough, it is true that rooms in Japan are mostly very small and this one is no exception.

It was a great location. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and we get a cleaning when we asked for it. This was my first stay in Japan so cant compare to different room sizes, but there were enough space to put our backpacks and walk around the backpacks. When i first booked the double room, I didn’t see that it was advertised as a single bed(120cm). I find this a bit weird. However after contacting the hotel, we changed to a bigger room with a bigger bed (140cm) with paying bit extra. That was the only thing for me.

We stayed here four times during our trip in and around Osaka. There was no reason to switch or try other places because it was the perfect pick from the start. The rooms are super clean, even by Japan standards. We had the best sleep here and the beds are very comfortable. Definitely worth the price. The service is impeccable. Joyce and the whole staff were so helpful and accommodating. When our travel plans changed, we had to switch our reservation at Meander to a different date. I sent an email and received a confirmation within 15 minutes. They were also able to store our luggage and transfer it to another city so we could travel hands-free. Every time we needed something, we felt it was done with a genuine desire to help. The location is also great. It's a walking distance from Namba station, where you can go anywhere. It's removed from the hassle of the central streets so it's very quiet, but also just a few minutes walk away from the main shopping and entertainment areas.

We booked on the same day as our previous accomodation fell through - a great decision that saved our day. The staff were lovely and our small room fit the three of our family (bunk bed with a single on top and double underneath). The price was great for a last minute swap (we stayed off season). We had a private bath/toilet which was clean and well kept. The highlight was the lounge in the lobby, we had convenience store dinner there both times and there was unlimited coffee and hot water available plus a microwave and a small fridge in our room. We also did our laundry and the dryer actually worked well! We went to Universal Studios Japan and it took about 30-40 minute to get there by subway - convenient considering the size of Osaka! It was also close to Dottonburi.

We loved everything but keep in mind that as with all stays in Japan, the space is limited and you may struggle with large suitcases.

Great location, near to Dotonbori and 2 subway lines (Osaka metro and JR). Amazing helpful staff. Lots of free amenities and refreshments in the lobby. Rooms were really clean and comfy, quite spacious for Japan standards. There was no iron but there was a pants press available, as well as coin laundry and luggage storage services. We requested for luggage delivery service and the staff was really helpful in arranging it!

Almost nothing! Everything at this hotel was so great I'm so happy I chose it. However I just have a couple of suggestions to make my review a 10/10: - Please place hand soap in the toilet (there is none so we had to use bath soap) - Please place more cups in the bathroom to store our toothbrushes Other than these minor improvements, I would say this hotel was pretty much perfect! Highly recommend it to everyone looking to stay in Osaka 😄 **something to note, the upper bunk of the bunk bed is quite near to the ceiling, taller guests may reconsider booking this room. We are Asian girls so this wasn't an issue for us.

We were met by lovely staff who were really helpful. We got a quiet end room and it was clean and minimalist. The utilities like toothbrushes etc were at reception so they didn’t go to waste having fresh ones in each room every day. Also very close to the station!

The room was just very small, which is typical of the city so I didn’t mind it too much. It would have been great if the bath and toilet were in different spaces but the set up was new enough that it didn’t really matter anyway. Also I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning even with the instructions, but to be fair I didn’t call down and ask

The property is very clean and I like the way they did the decoration of the whole place. The staff is really lovely and helpful. They speak English and in some rare cases if they don’t, they will help you with a translation app. Room service to clean rooms during your stay are on request. There’s free WiFi, free coffee, tea and water. The location is perfect, 5-10mins walk to Namba station. I overall loved it and am already missing my room away from home!

I have nothing to mention what I didn’t like, but I can imagine that some people would like more spacious rooms, while I just find this type of room very lovely and cosy. I have to say I was travelling alone, so I can imagine it might be a bit crowded if you have 2 people staying in the same room. The other thing that might be an issue could be a low bed, but I also have a low bed at home so I actually prefer it ;)

Location: The hotel was conveniently located near Station 32 of Namba Station. Hotel Staff: They were very friendly and accommodating. Communicating with them was easy. I left my camera in a cab and one of the hotel's staff, Hana, talked to the taxi company on my behalf so I could get it. Thanks to her, I got my camera back. Value for money: It was very affordable. I think it's perfect for friends or couples travelling on a budget. The room was adequately sized, the usual for budget hotels in Japan, and all the basic amenities were there.

The laundry machine and dryer was almost always in use and the dryer didn't dry our clothes well, even after 1.5 hours. If you're planning to do your laundry, I'd suggest just doing it in the coin laundry a few meters from the hotel.

Great location 3-minute walk to Namba underground station. Facilities were clean and new. We had a triple room that was a double on the bottom bunk and single on the top. The ground floor had a communal area for basic cooking and for making the complementary hot drinks provided. WiFi worked fine. It made a great base for our 3 night stay in Osaka.

The rooms are on the snug side but we're finding this is a common theme in Japan's major cities.

The location of the hotel is good. It is close to the subway while maintaining a distance from those tourist spots. This allows me to enjoy a quiet environment while still being within a reasonable walking distance to those attractions.

I wake up early every morning because sunlight passes through the window. While I enjoy waking up early, which makes traveling more worthwhile, the curtains could be thicker.
