Demir is an amazing guy! He greeted me every single time and made the hostel feel more like home! He also introduced me to other guest which made it easier to socialize. I really appreciate that as an introverted solo traveller. The room, toilet and common area is pretty nice as well! would come here again

Can’t think of anything so far

Really liked this Hostel. Great location, Host Demir was a great guy and helped with a lot of things. Hostel felt like home. It was booked out and I asked Demir if I could stay one more night and he made it happen. Saved me from the inconvenience of searching for another hostel for just one night. overall great experience.

Couldn't leave my luggage at the hostel before check-in, because no answer to my messages. Went there either way to try but no one was there. But this is just a minor inconvenience and also in part my fault for not asking earlier in advance. so just keep in mind that he may take a while to reply. only thing I can think of, the rest was amazing.

This is my “third time” coming back to this hostel, and every time I almost stayed here for one month. 🍀 I enjoyed having coffee in outdoor area since there were so many handsome guests you can make friends with✨ and the manager was always good at socializing, you will feel so connected with people here! I never experienced smelling cigarettes or anything bad in female dorm room, as logically in policy, people are only allowed to smoke outdoor not indoor. I also stayed in the third floor room this year May, and never smelled anything cigarette from the rooftop above (their rooftop is an amazing place to hangout with people 🙌 The manager already tried his best to avoid making any smoking smell come into the indoor area, and the door also prevents smell as you can see the photo of the entrance, the indoor actually smells clean in my experience. 🍀 There’s no curfew in the hostel, you’re always free to go and back as you wish. No one limits when or how you come in and out. So the signs in hostel already told everyone to be quiet. And most of the guests were following it as best as they could. I always felt so silent at night, and got no problem with falling asleep! The bedroom space already prevents a lot of noise as they’re well designed and built by Japanese. Please come to this hostel and you will be the real ninja because no one actually hears your footsteps. 🥷 I stayed here September 22 to October 22

Everything perfect

I’ll start with giving big love to the manager who was the coolest guy, did everything he could to make everybody feel safe and comfortable. He’s Turkish/American that also knows fluent Japanese and is great conversation! The beds were surprisingly comfortable and spacious, and I didn’t feel like I need to hide my things because everyone was so nice and welcoming. Showers are slightly small (it’s a hostel in Japan so what can you expect lol) but they were always available and clean. The location is incredible as it’s less than 10 minutes by foot to Namba station and Dotonbori and the street it’s on is quiet and walkable. For the price they’re asking this is incredible value. If you’re looking for a nice comfortable and welcoming hostel in Osaka I would easily recommend this 100%! Thank you so much for having me, if I’m ever solo-traveling to Osaka I’ll definitely be back (and will come visit even if not solo)!

No complaints :)

Love love love the atmosphere. Just a laid-back, chill place, filled with friendly people. I met Japanese, Americans, French, Germans, Dutch, etc... Everyone had positive energy and an optimistic attitude and I think this hostel was the reason why. Then neighborhood is fantastic, there are restaurants everywhere, and some terrific bars within a 10 minute walk. And how could I forget the manager, a hilarious and warm-hearted individual who went above and beyond to make everyone's stay a pleasant one.

Best hostel in Osaka for meeting new people, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The receptionist was willing to go the extra mile, he even shared his dinner with us. Late checkout was possible with no extra charge, the receptionist was willing to wait for me for a late check in, nice terrace and benches outside reception as well as kitchen and common parts. Beds were clean and comfortable had a good sleep, dorm was quiet at night, good AC. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for good value for money

I'm not usually one to leave reviews on hostels but I can't pass up the opportunity to express my beautiful experience in this hostel which I arrived at because of the same recommendations that some people have left, and that incredibly were true. Beyond talking about the facilities themselves, I want to share the human quality of Demir, the owner of this small but extremely cozy hostel located in an unbeatable location close to everything, perfect for travelers who are just for a few days touring Osaka or even for those who want to spend more time touring everything this wonderful place has to offer. The vibe you get here is not easily found anywhere else. From day one makes you feel at home and believe me that for those who spend days traveling alone, it is something that is appreciated. Always willing to share with everyone and motivated to organize a dinner, a drink or a cigarette, I can say without a doubt that the memory of having been in perhaps the best city in Japan was thanks to this man who cares about making you feel like family and I felt it. He was always willing to help us with whatever we needed, he suggested places, recommended bars and neighborhoods (even those you can't find in books or on the internet, if you know what I'm talking about haha). Just thank you and recommend this place without hesitation, your experience will be phenomenal. Thank you so much, this is the ultimate place to enjoy Osaka.

Hostel is in the amazing location close to the Namba station. Demir, the co-owner is amazing and funny person who will greet you with curiosity and will talk to you about anything! Interior of the hostel is designed with dark wood and stone , creating grounding and home like feel! Beds are comfortable and large. In general hostel is amazing choice for anyone who wants and need rest their weary heads while traveling in Japan.

Many things!

It's a standard hostel, obviously, but the beds were actually fairly large and comfortable. The common area was fine for a place this size, even if it can get co-opted by larger groups of travelers at times. The manager was great! Very friendly guy who chatted with guests and seemed happy to connect with everyone. He was probably the best thing about the place. There are a couple of neat little eateries nearby including a 24h Korean place and a small Vietnamese one (which isn't 24h).

I'm not sure... I mean, it is a hostel. Maybe the showers were a bit small? And there could be more hangers for damp clothes you don't/can't put into the dryer. But really, there isn't much to say.

The location is walking distance from JR Namba and Metro Namba. The owner is friendly and helpful with advice to get around. He also makes the vibe of the hostel feel like home and family. He offered his best to make the guests happy during my stay. Definitely choose to stay again.

It's a bit strange to have to walk through the lounge area to go to the shared shower because it is on the ground floor and the bathroom sinks are next to the kitchen corner. However it's all good for short stay.
