This hotel was fantastic!!! Our room was so big, it felt so luxurious after staying in tiny hotel rooms in Tokyo and Kyoto. We loved that the toilet was separate from the shower/bath and also the size of the shower bath area was huge. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies! The location was excellent, literally five steps away from Exit 28 of Osaka Namba Station subway. (Side note: there aren't any escalators when exiting the subway at Exit 28 when you arrive and you know Japan loves stairs, so you have to carry your suitcase up the stairs but honestly the exit has quite short flights of stairs to lug the suitcase up from the station level so quite manageable for us). So nice to have a coin laundry and microwaves for communal use, and also the bath spa on the top level of the hotel. A great place to stay and we'd absolutely recommend it.

As mentioned the size of the room was amazing, and there was a small hall leading to the bathroom and then to the room - it was hard lino/tile and this made the floor extremely cold! We think it was because the front door of the room has a gap underneath it which let's cold air in. Once we worked this out, we placed a spare towel down to block the gap and it made the world of difference keeping the floors warmer with the heater from the room. Perhaps the hotel should provide draft stoppers or install rubber along the bottom of the door to stop the gap letting cold air seep through. Otherwise completely happy!

1. Cleanliness was excellent. I surprised the cleaner by coming into my room while she was working and could see that she was doing a full cleaning, not just tidying up! 2. Rooftop bath facilities were excellent with everything you need to go empty handed. Bonus were the microwave and laundry machines. 3. Location is close to transport links and famous shopping area. 4. Unexpected surprises: air filter in the room, very deep bathtub, very good quality bathroom amenities, quiet even though my room faced the main road.

The hotel is very spacious. There is a seating area with a large couch. We loved the separate room for the bath area. The toilet was stood alone in a room, the shower and furo was separated from the sink area. We loved all the toiletries that were provided. You can access the bed from both sides unlike some of the hotels we stayed at where the bed was pushed up against one wall. There was a nice entry area to leave your shoes at. Although it is an older hotel, it was very comfortable and convenient. The exit/entrance to the subway is right outside the door. The OCAT bus station is very close by. We would definitely stay here again if in the Namba area.

Good location - a short walk to main shopping streets in Namba and a subway entrance just outside the door allowing access to many stations via underground for easy travel to site seeing locations. Good sized rooms and an unexpected spa on the roof was nice in the evenings.

No real storage, so largely live out of the suitcases, but the rooms are large to allow these to be mostly out of the way. A bit of road noise from outside, even though the windows have 3 layers of glass.

Room is spacious compared to others, quiet and clean. Enjoy the bath area with toiletries provided. The location is ideal to nearby attractions and metro trains. Washing machine and dryer available with coin changing machine next to reception. Would stay again in the future.

The free wifi speed is non-existence, too slow till I have to use my own data to access internet. Will be fantastic if they can improve in this area.

Location was great - close to trains and walking distance from the night festivities!

We contacted them on booking.com and they said they would try to accomodate us for an early check in if we arrived at 2pm instead of 3 pm checking. When we got there - even though the room was ready they wanted to charge us for a whole extra day even if it was 2 pm. Not great to hear. The reception was not interested in answering any questions or helping.

Never replenish coffee n Tea. Stingy for mineral water only 3 bottles per day cannot ask for more. Unfriendly female staff

I like that the room is well provisioned with amenities. They provided stuff which I have rarely seen in other 5-star hotels. Stuff such as razor and shaving cream, facial cleanser and moisturiser, bathing towel and body scrubs, shampoo and conditioners and most of them are individual packed. Also, the water pressure in the shower was strong and the bathroom is clean without residual odour. We stayed on the 9th floor and the 2 rooms did have windows except that the windows have no views. The hotel is right outside one of the station and it was conveniently located at Namba.

The cleaning service is not the usual daily service. Apparently, they only clean the room after you have stayed for 4 days and only if you requested for it. They do change the towels and provide mineral water on a daily basis.

The location was great, right at Exits 28 & 29 from Namba underground station, which also encompassed the underground shopping and dining precinct of Namba Walk. Also just a short walk above ground to the tourist and dining mecca of Dotonbori and Shimsaibashi Shopping Street, and to the Namba Nankai above ground station for the express train to Kansai Airport . Our rooms were large by Japanese standards, especially the bathrooms, and all amenities were provided.

It was a little dated but really not an issue at all, there was nothing in particular that we didn't like.

Check-in was smooth and easy. The hotel was clean and had all the essentials like daily bottled water, soap, shampoo and daily make-up of the room. The hotel was centrally located, just next to Namba station and it made walking to Namba walk shopping area very convenient. Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi was within walking distance. But you can just spend your time walking along the long stretch of Namba walk where you can get food, shopping and so many things to see. Hotel was large enough, with a table for 2 people to sit down to eat. For one person staying in the room, it was comfortable.

The floor was cold and the bathroom slippers were too thin so it couldn't keep my feet warm, The bathroom was small but it has all the necessary essentials like soap, shampoo and conditioner. The bed is small for 2 people but big enough for one. The alarm went off twice during midnight which disturbed my sleep, fortunately, it was the last day of my stay. The security is quite lax because you don't need any access card to get to the hotel rooms.
