The location is quiet, one subway stop away from Shinsaibashi and two subway stops away from Namba, so the neighbourhood is calm but still a short reach away from the tourist hotspots. There is a 24 hour AEON supermarket a two minute walk away and next door to a Family Mart. There are also quite a few amazing restaurants and bakeries in the neighbourhood. The hotel itself is clean and very comfortable. The best thing about the hotel is really the staff, especially Maria and Jake who were always happy to help with restaurant or taxi reservations. It's my second stay at Mimaru Shinsaibashi West and will be happy to stay again if I am back in Osaka.

The toilet bowl room smelled funky throughout the stay. I thought it would go away but it didn't.

The location and the neiberhood, very nice to walk around: quiet, relax and very easy to go to any place. You have very nice restaurants around. The staff, special to Rai, make all the family feel at home and help with everything. Always try to teach us about the city of Osaka. The face of the hotel: They arrange very quickly a Nice Sushi for the family and talk to everyone. We travel a lot and people like Rai is dificult to find nowadays in hotels.

Space of the room. For five is not very nice, however with the warm wellcome for Rai everything sounds like our Home .

Staff are amazing and extremely sweet and kind. They really helped us look for things around and asked us if we need help to look for places to go around or even places to eat. They shared their tips on some of the good places around to try out. The location is quite nice and its walkable to quite a lot of places and shopping area around. But as such Osaka stores close by 8PM so its really not much that you can go around.

Nothing really. The place was pretty nice and I would rather stay in this chain of Hotel across Japan. They are really nice. Only miss is we dont have inhouse food option, so that is the only drawback.

the hotel is situated just a few hundred metres from the start of the main shopping/fun area of Osaka. There's a metro station 4 mins walk which can connect you to everywhere. Around the hotel there are a few lovely independent shops including coffee, ice cream, bars & small restaurants. It's a real quiet area considering how close you are to the amazing madness of this mega city. You will certainly get a good night's sleep. We had a family room, 4 adults, two parents & two 20 year olds, although it was a little tight as long as you organise your kit, it's fine for a few days, shower & facilities were great. Don't expect the Ritz, but expect a lot more than a travel lodge type of hotel. Laundry on site if you need to wash clothes. The staff were lovely & super helpful. It was an "easy" stay, which when on vacation is what you need. Personally I cannot fault this hotel for the price, really good value for money & some extra too!. I would heartly recommend this hotel for the budget traveller who would like to be comfortable & get a good nights sleep.

Can't think of anything to be honest, it's exceeds what I expected for the price.

We were delighted with the family room and facilities. We are a family of four, with two teenagers who slept in the super comfy bunk beds. We were so happy with the room because it was spacious and had a small kitchen which was perfect for us to heat up any convenience meals we picked up at the supermarket around the corner. The hotel was so well located, just around the corner from the subway station and amidst small eateries, a very short walk away from the main streets. It was peaceful and quiet at night. We were greeted by Jake who was extremely helpful and welcoming.The rest of the staff were just as warm and friendly. The hotel also has a coin laundry which was very useful as we were travelling with small bags. Thank you, Mimaru Osaka Shinsaibashi West ! We will definitely recommend you and we would stay with you again without hesitation if we are lucky enough to return to Osaka.

Everything from the location, lobby, rooms, amenities and of course the staffs. We were travelling as a family, my sister and my nieces had tagged along to my family of 5. We want to express our gratitude to one exceptional staff Seira Nitta who had wowed us during our stay. My sister has apparently dropped her pouch containing all her valuables and she discovered it missing while we were visiting Kyoto. We quickly rang the hotel to help search for the item in her room which they willingly obliged without any fuss. Quick thinking Seira had observed that my sister had visited the family mart located besides the hotel and she sprang to the mart to check and immediately gave us the image of the pouch !!! She had saved everyone's day as otherwise the trip would not be the same!!. Every single one of us were very pleased with MIMARU WEST OSAKA. Thank you for the great hospitality and fantastic stays. We will definitely come back !

We had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The location was perfect – close to everything we needed, with easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. What really made our stay extra special was the staff – they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. From check-in to check-out, their service was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Loved the hotel especially the staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. Loved how we had free coffee every morning. Location was great with lots of choices of 7/11 and family marts around. Train station very close. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The beds were very hard. The pillows far too soft! And it would’ve been nice to have come back to a freshly made bed every day not every second day! That’s what you want when you are on holidays.

Staff were super helpful. Rooms were clean (and frequently too) and had all the necessary items needed for a week long holiday. Very family-friendly (we travelled with a toddler) and in a convenient location - close to the Metro, convenience stores, supermarket, and plenty of cafes.

There's only one lift which sometimes got busy (e.g. check in and check out times). Needed to remind ourselves to bring our mugs for coffee downstairs. Also it's close to a fire station - was only noisy 1 of the 9 nights we stayed.

The staffs , reception all very helpful and friendly. They all speak English. They have coffee capsules we can get anytime, coffee sachets, tea sachets and sleepwear. They also have game boards to play . Laundry area with dryer . There are a lot of good restaurants in the area. Search for the Indian restaurant Delhi. Sometimes we just cook at the apartment and chill. Grocery is 2mins away and family mart is just beside the hotel. Location is very good too 2minutes away to station. 10mins walk to dotonbiri. Everyone's so nice and helpful. We felt safe. Last year we stayed in Mimaru tokyo and also loved the experience. Thank you everyone for a relaxing stay!
