Location was great. Quiet and convenient.

One of the less clean business hotels I’ve stayed. Black and red mold on the shower curtains. Scuff on the walls.

Snug room for a solo traveller.

Carpet seemed old and bidet could be more modern.

The good: room is cozy, clean, has good air conditioning, the bathroom is basic but good, there are spaces to hang coats (we went in winter), a small desk, and the complimentary coffee in the room is super nice. The location is honestly not bad, we managed to walk okay from Umeda Station with big luggages. There's a 7-11 and a Lawson's nearby, and some places to eat nearby as well.

The not-so-good: the room might feel cramped. I'm 162cm and my partner is 175cm and we felt a little cramped in the space. If you have large luggages, you might find it hard to open and close them as the only place to store them would be the floor, which is also the hallway (ish).

The location was very good walking to the main station, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was as expected, small but usable. Despite it being near a very busy thoroughfare it was quiet. The room size was okay for a couple of days but not longer. Also if you are tall then don't opt for the room because you will not fit in the bathroom.

Coffee downstairs was only on for a few hours in the morning then nothing, it would have been nice to have it available all day however, the 7 Eleven was only a couple of doors away.

The room has everything you might need, nice shower products, great detail on lighting, awesome drip coffee, the bed was pretty comfortable, and I asked for a soft pillow which the staff happily provided. We were also happy with the location, easy to access from Umeda Station even with the big luggage. We chose the hotel because it was only a couple of minutes walk from Nakazakicho (cute, hipster area with coffee shops and tiny restaurants). The hotel was great value for money.

The only downside was the size of the room. We felt it was a bit too small for two adults traveling with two suitcases. For a solo traveller the room would be perfect. It would be good if you could store the luggage under the bed. They've been otherwise very clever with the design of the room to make it functional in such a small space. Unfortunately the tv in the room doesn't have functionality to watch Netflix or connect your device to Chromecast or airdrop.

Very good for connecting on trains. It was close to bars and restaurants. The room was efficient and the bed was very comfortable, accompanied by A/C during our very hot stay. Complimentary coffee was available in the morning.

The double bed had only two pillows, of varying softeners. This wasn’t the end of the world but having two of the same would have been preferable. If it is busy, don’t bank on being able to use a washing bf machine. They were often busy during our stay.

Location is within 8 minutes walking distance from umeda station. Quiet but lively area. Great shopping and restaurants around. Room is small but I could manage.

To ship luggage to a second city they need two days. I was told by several friends that you need to send your luggage the night before to be transferred and unfortunately they told me my luggage will arrive two days after me even though it was only to Kyoto which is one hour away. Had to carry my luggage around all the way to Kyoto due to that.

The hotel location was very good as it was only a short distance from the train station. However, getting out of the train station was another matter. The station is very big, very busy, and has many floors, and it was difficult navigating out of this huge complex, but once we found our way out, it was easy to get to the hotel. The beds were super comfy, all amenities were provided, rooms were very clean, and staff very friendly. They had a restaurant in the hotel, which we did not use, but convenient if you do need to use. Great place to stay with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

The location was excellent and the room cosy! The hotel does a fantastic job at making a small space totally comfortable! The hotel really has guests in mind when designing the room space. I am honestly impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it for a convenient but away-from-the-crowds stay!

Would have been nice to know about luggage forwarding/delivery service beforehand or during the stay so I did not have to lug around my big luggage when commuting to and from the hotel. There was also a fraudulent message before I arrived, which the hotel promptly clarified (so not their fault that hackers are just opportunistic and everywhere)! Wouldn’t have minded some recommendations for first time travellers to Japan.

Hotel is very clean, nice and reasonable size rooms, staff is very friendly and helpful, hotel can ship luggage off to your next hotel if needed. Location is great in the Kita district Close to the train station, heaps of street food outlets and local bars around to choose from. DOUTONBORI STREET is just a 10-15 minutes ride on the train. Heaps of tourists attractions around. 7/11 shop next to hotel. I recommend staying here if you looking for a little less crowded and quieter area.
