Location is central to all that I did. I had to remember to put on the "Clean Room" sticker every day to make sure that the room was to be cleaned. The restaurant provided a great breakfast, and the choices for lunch and dinner were great for those used to that of locals.

To find the hotel from the airport, I was at the mercy of the big hotels around. Several people didn't know the hotel location. Google Maps was supposed to help but I didn't have it due to no Wifi. There is no set address that helps. The room size is not for people accustomed to US hotel room sizes.

I loved my stay at Hotel Unizo Osaka Umeda! The staff were very accommodating, and the best part was that my room was made every single day. The location was also perfect as it was only a 5 minute walk from Umeda, Osaka and Nakatsu stations! This hotel is a great base if you are planning to travel via the JR lines, too, as it's very near Osaka station (JR shinkansen station). There were a lot of convenience stores and restaurants around and is only a stone-throw away from Ichiran Ramen. It's also very quiet at night and I enjoyed my late night walks around the area of this hotel. I would definitely go back and stay here the next time! Thank you Hotel Unizo Osaka Umeda! :)

I wish there was a kettle for hot water in the room. It also only had one big pillow and one throw pillow, I wish I had two bigger pillows. But that's asking for too much. This place was really perfect, the best place I could ever ask for.

It’s a really good place, the single room had enough space for a big suitcase (kept it open by the window), chiller, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, even an adapter with charging cables 👍🏻 Wasn’t bothered by any noise from neighbors upstairs or from the corridor. Nice amenities provided at the lobby. Fabric/linen refreshing spray is a nice additional touch. Staff were very attentive every time I needed any help. Didn’t try breakfast but you can buy voucher for a Japanese breakfast. Microwave, vending machine with drinks and washing machine (you need coins for that but very affordable) are on the ground floor and it’s a big plus. The walk from the train/metro station is approximately 10 minutes if you’re not rushing. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Cleaning could be a bit improved (saw some weird hair on the floor in bathroom and carpet didn’t look clean), but overall the rest was very clean. Thank you, I enjoyed my stay!

I had requested a quiet room away from the elevator, but on arrival discovered the room faced the noisy train tracks. However, the staff responded by moving me to a much quieter room that was perfect. A young man that wore glasses, spoke perfect English & went by the name of Loui I believe was most helpful. He went above & beyond to assist me in acquiring a bus ticket to the airport that ultimately saved me an enormous taxi fare. He clearly understands customer service & is the type of employee that you want on your management team, so give him a promotion, a raise, or both, as well deserved. Thanks!!

Location was not easy to find, even by Google Maps & Maps Me. Also too close to the train tracks, so a bit noisy, & much more expensive than other boutique hotels of the same quality with better locations in Tokyo, Kyoto & Hiroshima.

Great location and cleanliness!

Breakfast is below average and service in restaurant is average. There is no spread, limited to 5 prefixed options . Out of four days we paid for Breakfast, we only went once. I would suggest not to include Breakfast as part of your room booking. Umeda has multiple restaurant choices and cuisines. TV in the room is antique 32 inch and does not support any OTT APP like Netflix. Expect the chain to provide minimum services commonly available rather than cutting the corners.

The hotel was a 10 min walk away from Osaka-Umeda, but in the quieter part of the neighbourhood. There are a lot of eateries on almost every street we walked back from, and ideal location for foodies. The hotel provided a lot of essential items like mouthwash, bath salts, shavers, toothbrush etc. In the room, hair dryer, fridge, body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Water pressure on the 4th floor was amazing!

The single room and double room were both a little smaller and squeezy than for most, it was difficult to find some space to open our lugguages in the rooms. The rooms were ideal for asian-size people, bordering on cosy/claustrophobic.

Staff were super friendly and room was good, nothing special about it just pretty standard. Enough space for a solo traveller like me with a small carry on luggage and backpack. Nice and clean as well all around with a good location, a 5-8 min walk to Umeda station and 10 mins from Osaka station. Familymart is super close as well at 2 mins so very convenient! They were also able to keep my bags before check in and after checkout which was super helpful!

If I did have a large suitcase it would be pretty difficult to keep in the room. Other than that no issue!

It's super close to the Umeda shopping area, but the hotel's on a really chill and peaceful street, so I could easily escape the crowds and unwind. My room had a great view! I could see the train tracks and some of the Umeda shops. The windows were clean and blocked out the noise, so I could enjoy the view and sleep peacefully. There's a fancy cafe right next door, plus a Japanese restaurant with lots of choices and good prices. It's really convenient because the restaurant is right in the hotel.

Location is good, close to Umeda station and airport bus terminal, only 5mins walk.

The room is so small, the mattress is too soft. No daily clean, not even change bath towel, have to ask reception for clean towel. The breakfast is very simple, not suggesting to add in your stay, there are plenty of street food. Can hear the train noise in the evenings .

Close to train stations. Laundry facilities good. Staff were kind and caring. Rooms and beds comfortable. Great bathroom. Breakfast in Yayoi was delicious. We were very grateful they looked after our luggage whilst on an overnight stay in the mountains.

A bit disappointed we were not allowed to organise a massage that was advertised by the hotel in the room.?? Perhaps a miscommunication? Would really like some soothing music to relax to in the room. Some hotels have this on their TV when entering the room. More washing machines in the laundry might be good. Only two and there was a queue! Really, it was very nice. 🙂
