Keep in mind it's a small concrete building and you get a small concrete room with a tiny bathroom. It's plenty big enough unless you're a larger person or if you have a large suitcase (mine is carry-on sized). I'm putting this in both like and dislike because it's a fact, not a judgement. I was expecting a business hotel and that's what I got. It's old school, the doors are locked with a key that you turn in every time you leave. During the day there's always someone at the front desk to give you your key, however. It's small and they replace all the room amenities (comb, toothbrush, body cloth, towels) daily. They went a bit beyond by cleaning my room quickly and letting me sit in my room most of the day. I hurt myself on my trip to Japan and on a couple of cold and rainy days I took it easy and just rested in my room. The internet was plenty fast and ran all the time.

The shower/bath is so small that there's no way to take a shower without having the shower curtain billow in and touch you repeatedly. If you're here on a shopping spree and have a giant suitcase the room will be a little on the small size. For some it might feel a bit claustrophobic. The A/C for the room made loud noises when it turned on or off like a turbine spooling down.

Very close to stations, business center and shopping. Everything is spotlessly clean. Rooms fairly big, above average size for the area. High-speed wired internet available in addition to Wi-Fi, great for work.

Everything is rather old. TV is very small. A little more space on the desk would be nice. Physical key (not card) must be left at desk whenever you leave the room. Very strict about no visitors to rooms and very little meeting space in lounge.

-Location. Super close from Hankyu Umeda station. I stayed here in order to catch early bus to KIX and it was perfect location for this purpose. -Clean and comfortable room. -Family Mart is at the corner of the same street and very convenient.

-Nothing much to say. Just one thing was I totally understand that only guests can go inside the room and even friends or family cannot go up to help carry baggage. But it will be much better and smooth if receptionist could offer help or offer me a trolley to me from the beginning instead of just saying "No" to my family to help me go upstairs. -No bottle water and coffee in the room. -This is not something about hotel but just an additional info for the people who stays here. As there are many hotels around + it is located in the center of the city + it was a small store, Family Mart was very crowded and less choice of foods at the time when I went there. It is recommended to buy your breakfast beforehand at different location.

This place is so conveniently close to the enormous Osaka station that traveling around was a breeze. The staff were very friendly and could handle my broken English and Japanese. The heating was great for the middle of winter, and because the entrance is tucked around the corner from the main street it's nice and quiet inside, and my room was free of any blaring lights or traffic noises at night. The free matcha tea was a nice touch.

Great value for money, and excellent location. Osaka station 3 mins away which makes train movements within and outside city very easy. Surprised this doesn't have a higher rating. Also around the corner is this amazing building (maybe called Yoddabashi?) where the ground floor and the 7 floor are buzzing full of nice restaurants (way better than a food court). My room has a nice openable window. Staff were helpful - this is true of every hotel in Japan i stayed in. One of the best things is that the bus to the airport is literally 3 minutes away at the New Hankyu hotel across the street. Although i was recommended the train from Osaka station, I wanted to take the bus and experience the city and it was such a beautiful and memorable drive from center of Osaka to along the coast to the airport with great views and took 50 minutes. A great highlight to end my amazing Japan trip.

Guests should be told about inserting key into hole so that lights come on. Reception didn't tell me this but came up when i called them to show me. Not really a negative but just 'to be noted'.

Clean, comfortable and a beer vending machine at the elevator in lobby! Excellent front desk staff, very friendly and welcoming. Close to UMEDA station and convenience stores right next to hotel. You will enjoy this hotel.

Location is very close to the two train stations, its located midpoint. Friendly staff.

No lobby amenity features like hot and cold water dispensers.

I liked the friendly atmosphere of stay, the Japanese authentic feeling of the hotel. The room small but sufficient for everything for your stay.

The room can be cleaner.

Very close from Osaka/Umeda station but it was quiet in the night. Also there are 2 convenience stores in 1 minute walk.

Facility seemed bit old but functional.

The location is great, right next to Osaka station. Interior is very industrial - concrete walls on the inside. They kept our luggage for few hours when we arrived early.

Our room was really close to the elevator so we could hear people walking by. No view from the windows.
