Toyoko Inn Osaka Tsutenkaku Mae is a great value-for-money Japanese business hotel. It may not have a lot of facilities (gym, pool, all-day dining, etc) but it is a very good hotel in a very good location. Within a short walking distance, you have access to plenty of train and subway lines, good food, and things to do. The hotel is clean, convenience, comfortable and cost-effective

Check-out time is at 10am, which is a bit early. I wish it could be at 11am or even 12pm. The pillow is a bit too soft for my liking (but that's just personal preference). A bit more variety for breakfast would be nice.

The room was comfortable and the location was great with easy access to transport, food and groceries. The room had a good layout and was well equipped. A daily towel change and the option for daily house cleaning was also provided if required. Great staff - attentive and hardworking. Breakfast was simple but tasty.,

The breakfast area was too small, but luckily, the rice rolls (onigiri) were individually wrapped and could be easily taken to the room. Coffee was only available in the morning for a couple of hours in the lobby area. Wasn't a big issue until that much needed coffee fix to catch our early flight.

Good location from the plethora of eating choices and distance to the subway if you wish to make it to the city centre have to walk for 10 min which is fine. Very clean and the best public bathroom located in the lobby, I have ever seen. Free printing services with public use computers. Free breakfast.

The location between the local restaurants and nose wise is not quiet if you wish to open the window. The free breakfast served as baufett but with no warmer facility and goes cold fast. No toiletries in the bathroom, you have to get them from the lobby. Also venting machine and washer and dryer In the lobby only. The worst thing is, you have to provide your own sponge, there's only one elevator and the hardest mattress you can find in the whole of Osaka. I asked to change my room but staff assured me there's the only one type of mattress they have. Super hard.

Close to several options for transport. Fun area to be in. Quiet in the mornings for going places and busy at night due to lots of little restaurants. Hotel has quiet entrance and always a lovely staff greeting on entry and leaving.. On arrival in Natita we stayed at Toyoko, moved onto Osaka and now Nara. All hotels have been great.

The location was very central with a lot to do and see close by. The room was a little tight, but had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with mostly Japanese food. There was alo on-site laundry facilities (coin-operated). All-round a great stay.

Very friendly stuff, great location, close to shops, restaurants and train stations, nice breakfast with option to take out, clean and comfortable rooms.

It would be nice if the breakfast had more western-style options.

Good location and free skin care for the ladies, also breakfast included was good and you could also get takeaway. Onsite washer and dryer

Only 1 lift so you had to wait if it was busy, we took the stairs a couple times so no big deal.

The complimentary breakfast was always delicious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I also loved the location of the hotel, almost everything I wanted to do or see was within walking distance.

Great location for food and metro station.

A distance away from Dotonburi if you decide to walk but metro station will bring you there

bathtub bigger than most and easier to get into
