I stayed only for 1night so my experience is limited to that stay. Check in is easy since everything is digital. With the price I paid for, I think it is well within expectations. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. The bath is in a large area. The room is quite small though and narrow. It will be difficult if you have a large suitcase like me although you can still open it. Location is walking distance to the canal, the shopping street and the station although it can be a struggle if it's snowing to walk from the station to the hostel with suitcases. No free towels or slippers so bring your own. The shower area also has no place to hang your clothes, only a basket is provided. Staff is nice and the common area is very comfy. The Lawson at the ground floor is also a godsend.

The location is very convenient. The hostel is very clean. Staffs clean the lobby, kitchen and rest room frequently. It is a good place for long stay.

The female dorm is quite small to fit in 6 persons. It is good to have washed machine and dryer. However, some clothes may not be ok to use dryer. If there is a common place for hanging clothes after using wash machine being better.

Very kind and attentive staff at check in, easy checkout, comfortable (Japanese style) mattress, great location next to Lawson and close to JR station

I would wish bath towels and slippers be included in the price and not for a small extra fee.

Probably the best hostel i’ve ever stayed at that i decided to write review for the first time. Super cosy lobby and spacious toilets (even bigger than hotel toilets in japan). The whole hostel was also spotlessly clean and organised which really impressed me comparing to other hostels i’ve stayed at.

Maybe the pillow can be softer and more comfortable, it dents in after sleeping and stays in that shape.

Location was ok. Not far from JR Station, maybe 10min walk. Another 10min walk to Warehouse District. Common area had lots of cozy spaces to chill. Showers had good water pressure. Lots of food options nearby. Lawson’s is right next door for beer or late night snacks.

No lockers to store bags.

Loved the vibe of the camping themed lobby as it felt very homey and was a comfortable place to relax. The location was great as it was only a 5 minute walk to the Otaru Canal. Staff were very friendly and facilities were clean. Would definitely recommend!

The location of the place was very convenient. The was a convenience store next door along with a small street of shops and restaurants. It was also a short walk from the station, the canals, and other shops.

It would have been nice if they provided earplugs. I noticed a couple of people who stayed during my time there was a little noise at night. So, it was hard for me to go to bed.

the room was kept very warm, beds were comfy, and the overall layout of the 4 bed room worked very well for 3 people. the staff were very helpful and had great customer service. the location is also great, walking from otaru station was very easy even with snow and there is a Lawson directly below as well as many restaurant options for food.

there is no place to refrigerate your food inside the room, but the 3rd floor kitchen is available for that. if you need to store a lot of ingredients for an extended period of time it may become a bit complicated though, since the fridge is used by everyone. shouldn't be an issue as long as you travel light^^

The lobby has a really cute camping vibe :)

We booked two beds in a mixed dorm so we could be together, but they gave us one bed in a male-only room and one in a female-only room, so my partner and I had to stay in different rooms :( My room was empty apart from me, and there seemed to be a few empty rooms so I’m not sure why we couldn’t be together, but apart from that the stay was perfect.

The toilets were amazing! the showers, how much space, it was really good

I think in the room i stayed, it was not enough room in between the beds, so no really confy to walk around, to get dressed and to leave the luggage without bodering anyone
