Affordably priced and located close to train stations. Room was just the right size for solo traveling. Staff was very friendly and was able to communicate with some English. Room was clean and included a set of pajamas, a hairdryer, a toothbrush, a razor, and a brush. Bathroom had a bidet. Wet bath had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in large containers with pumps so I never had to worry about running out. Bed frame had some built-in wall plugs so I could charge my devices at the bed. Bed was firm, which I didn’t mind. Hotel was located in an area that was a mix of hotels and residential buildings. I never felt unsafe, even when I left my room at 11PM and returned around 2AM. It’s about a 10 minute walk to two different train stations. I didn’t utilize the restaurant downstairs but I was glad I had that option. When I checked out at 10AM, I was able to stow away two sets of check-in luggage at the front desk and pick them up later on around 2PM.

I stayed in the room for about 9 days. Because of how small the room was and how humid the weather was, the bathroom started to have a smell by day 4 and on. I’d keep the door to the bathroom closed and would try to run the exhaust fan for as long as possible but sometimes the smell wouldn’t disappear. The walls are a little thin so I’d be self conscious about using the hairdryer or playing the TV too loud. The air conditioner was hard to operate in the beginning since the remote is in all Japanese (had to use an app to translate the buttons) and there was no instruction manual. I eventually figured it out by trying out the different buttons. The same goes for the bidet in the bathroom.

Overall, the experience was not bad. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable for me. I also liked the nice TV with Netflix, good lighting, and the fact that it’s a strictly non-smoking hotel, which kept the room odor-free and fresh. Surrounding was super quiet and chill! Quite a distsnce away from main city. Although there isn’t public onsen, but there’s shower for every room. The staff were very friendly, could speak Cantonese, and were thoughtful and helpful. You can even leave your luggage at the hotel after checkout if needed. 😊

The location isn’t the best, as it’s about a 10-minute walk from Asakusa Station. If you're unsure about which exit to take, you might end up walking an extra 10 minutes, so it’s good to check the directions in advance! 🚶‍♂️📍 Not suggest to walk alone at night especially for women and girls.

Ano Hotel really exceeded our expectations for the trip! It has a stunning view of Tokyo Skytree from the balcony area leading to the rooms and it is in a really convenient location, just a short walk from Asakusa and Senso-ji in a quiet neighbourhood. The hotel has laundry facilities if you need them and they will also store your luggage in the breakfast room if you arrive early or need to leave bags there if you plan on going out after checkout and don't need to take them with you yet. The rooms themselves are clean and simple but equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is free wifi which is great for overseas visitors as well. I'd highly recommend it!

Nothing - everything was amazing.

The room is small but well compartmentalized, there is a window but the next building is just 1 meter away so you can open it but you need to draw the curtains. The bathroom is small but functional, but we are small, i don't think a bigger sized person would fit comfortably.

Every night around 2 am, they take away the laundry (i think), the noise kept waking me up, but i think this should be a problem only for the rooms toward the street and on a lower level. There is a terrace on the ground floor where you can smoke and although there are signs everywhere for people to be quiet, I had to ask some people at 5.30 in the morning to not laugh and shout. Of course that is not the hotel's fault.

Close to Asakusa station, just a bridge walk away. In a quiet residential/hotel area. It feels like they converted an apartment building into a hotel. The two gentlemen who manage the place speak Chinese (Cantonese and mandarin from what I could hear) which would be helpful for Chinese tourists

Washroom’s very tight especially the toilet is pretty close to the door, banged my knees a few times while sitting. The room door uses a key, and doesn’t auto lock so you’ll have to remember to lock when you enter and manually lock when you exit. The floors are accessible from the one elevator and the staircase next to it. No extra security features there like chain hotels that require a key card to move the elevator. Japan is pretty safe band nothing happened while I was there, but I think I like the added security of an interior hallway. At least it wasn’t typhooning when I stayed.

The hotel is located in a really practical zone of Tokyo, close to the Ginza and asakusa line, with direct connection from the Haneda airport. The staff if really friendly, the rooms are clean but also on the smaller side. The breakfast is quite varied and tasty, I would recommend that service as there are not combini that close. I also have to mention that is really quiet almost no noise at night. In general quite a good experience.

Great little hotel for a great price in a quiet street. Walking distance to train station, restaurants, 7/11 and Asakusa attractions. Very clean room, has a small fridge and jug in room. Beautiful bathroom products too! Breakfast was simple but delicious.

Smaller room but has everything you need. Probably not suitable for travelers with lots of luggage, we were fine but travel light.

It’s 10 mins walk from the metro station Asakusa on the other side of the river which was blessing because it was such a quiet and nice neighborhood. With great view on the Sky Tree from the balcony.

I bought breakfast once and it was very disappointing. Poor selection, not tasty. What I extremely missed - coffee in the room. There was a kettle but no tea or coffee. Rooms are extremely small. Impossible to open even one trolley and walk around the bed.

Good location. Within walking distance to Asakusa station. After I got my bearing it's about 8 mins walk to the station exit a2a - which is the entrance to Asakusa line direct to Haneda airport. It's further if you want entrance to the Ginza line.

I got Single room on 1st night, then moved to Double Room on the next 2 nights. So I realised that they're of the same size just different bed size. The size is ok for 1 but with 2 it'll be a bit struggling. Very compact bathroom.

The staff were really helpful and kind. The room was clean! The location was in a really quiet area which we appreciated after spending a full day in busy hectic areas. It’s roughly a 10 min walk to Asakusa station that had the Ginza line which was useful. A 7-11 is 4 mins walk away too. Also, the view of Tokyo sky tree was nice !

The size of the bathroom :( it was tiny tiny, but thats the standard of Japanese bathrooms.
