We stayed there for 2 weeks, first impression when we entered it :- clean and comfortable. I expected a more budget hotel vibe because the entrance was at the side and the for the cost of the room but it was great. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent english. You can pay with your card or cash. All necessary amenities can be collected at the reception area such as, shower caps, shaving blades, loofas, towels, sheets etc. They provide room cleaning services but itll cost you 2000 yen. If u keep your room clean this shouldnt be an issue. U can change your sheets, comforter, pillow cases and towels throughout your stay by requesting them from the reception, only thing you have to do it on your own. Theres laundry and dryer facilities in the hotel, 400 yen for the whole thing. Trash area on the 1st floor. The hotel room itseld is small, with a queen size bed. 2 chairs and cabinets to store things. A table with universal charging cables and a tv. Micovawe and a sink and a big window overlooking tokyo skytree ( our room was on the 6th floor). The AC also had a heating option for when the temperature drops. The toilet was small, had a bathtub and a sitting toilet. Shampoos and body wash provided. Wouldnt say they were the cheap kind because it did wonders to my curly hair. No bidet or such, just the normal japanese toilet with the auto jets to your private areas. Hot water is also available. The hotel was quiet. There is a delicious ramen shop opposite the hotel and an indian food joint downstairs. Vending machines at the reception. Universal chargers can be bought at the hotel, iron and all provided upon request. Overall i think it was a great accommodation for the price, im very happy and i hope they keep this up

The toilet door had an handle that kept coming off, so everytime u had to fix it which was very annoying. It can drop and hurt your foot since its very metal object. Some switches didnt work. The one near the microwave had burn marks on them and didnt function. The pillows werent great. It was lumpy and thin so i had to fold them in the middle to get a proper height.

The staff was great! Good comunication and very polite. Ready to help in any case. We got quite some interactions and they even helped with the bag shipping service, they work with the National Mail Service (had a good experience with them), not Yamato. The room was good and spatious (comparing to the normal one i was in the previous night). Having a movable table was good for meals, but also eats up in room space. Saw some comments complaining about the bathroom. I didn't find anything bad about it. Quite similar to other hotels i stayed in Japan. Could use an update? Yes, but not a necessary thing. The neigborhood is great! Really calm, with a metro station near (just walking the bridge) that connects with almost every line you will use. One of the most famous temples at a walking distance of around 15min, a park in a near street and some kombinis really near the hotel and even Tokyo Tower is near. Later we did find out that Asakusa is indeed one of the prime locations for staying/living. We got lucky as we didn't choose the hotel knowing that.

Despite it having a table, sofa and walkaround bed, i found it more dificult to organize stuff there than in the normal room (probably due to the table occupying space and the area around the bed being smaller than the other room. Ended having the bags always closed and only opening them to gets stuff in or out in order to have some living space. The wifi was one of the biggest bad points. First day it worked flawlessly, but from that day on, it was super slow. The entire hotel has wifi coverage and the Reception place had good speed, but in the room itself was really slow. To the point we find ourselves most of the time switching to mobile data in order to use internet.

The staff was great! Good comunication and very polite. Ready to help in any case. As we only were going to stay in this room for 1 night and had another booking for some days, they facilitated the checkin for both rooms right away. The room was good and the layout helped with the organization of bags. We had later the "Superior room" and found out that this normal one was easier to move around than the bigger one.

One thing you should take notice when visiting Japan: Bedbugs! I got bitten hard by them since day 1 in at least 5 different body areas (probably in this room, as was my first night in Japan). Those things are vile, lots of itching, big lumps, heated body parts and swelling. Still today i have leftover markings from them. Get some protection against them when visiting Japan as i later read that its common there.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location was excellent, easy to find, and close to the metro, restaurants, some of main sightseeing spots in Tokyo and supermarkets. Our room had a small kitchenette, which was quite useful. Hotel allows eating in room, but you need to clean up as it does not provide regular room cleaning. We didn't mind this because we spent whole days outside - exploring the city. Staff is very welcoming, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

just a remark that rooms and facilities in the hotel are a bit worn out, but they are kept clean!

It is a nice hotel room with all the facilities you need, very cheap, in a great location. We could take the metro within a short walk and get anywhere in the city. You also can walk to important tourist spots from there, like Sensoji Temple, SkyTree, Ueno Park... I really recommend MyStays! :)

The room was too little for two persons since we brought a lot of luggage, so we didn't have space for all the luggages and the room felt a bit too crowded. But we could live with that. Also, the room doesn't have cleaning service, but I would love if you could have access to a vacuum cleaner to do it yourself at least.

We really liked the location and services offered. However the room did not automatically come with all the mentioned amenities. You do have to ask for them and with a small language barrier that could be a problem for some. I noticed that other travelers were also experiencing this hiccup. When you do get things like a fork, spoon or plates you get previously used sponge with a bottle of soap. 5k run to the Skytree if you plan the route well.

The room size should not automatically allow you to book it for three travelers. This is a typical Japanese size room but three people (two 5'5" adults & one 4' child) definitely do not fit on a double bed.

Staying in Tokyo during a busy period or a public holiday makes it hard to get a room at a decent price, but it was possible to get one here twice in a short period of time! The subway is at a walkable distance and the staff was helpful.

The rooms are arguably small, especially when two people are staying in the same room. The bathroom in particular is especially small to the point it might get larger or taller people in trouble. Nothing to complain on my side though, since these are pretty much standard for Tokyo.

Staff was very helpful. We arrived very early and they allowed us to leave our luggage so we could explore while we waited to check in. We came back 1.5 hours before checkin time and they allowed us to check in early. Staff was very helpful with our many questions we had. Thank you!!

Location is a bit out of the way from popular tourist areas but we were able to get around good still. Bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. If you like a hard mattress, this will work for you.

What I like the most is the self service set-up. You can get your own toiletries, changing towels, face towels etc. No guarantee deposit is required. And the check-out is too easy, just drop off the key card in their box and then you can leave.

They should have trash bin specifically for the plastic bottled disposal. We ended up putting all our trashes in one trash bin, even though we separated the bottles.

The Skytree View We booked a room with a view of the Tokyo Skytree and it did not disappoint! Our bedroom is on the corner of the 9th floor, so we’ve got an unobstructed view of the beautiful Skytree even while sleeping.💕 It’s a walking distance to the bus stop and the Kuramae Station.

Except from the Indian resto on the 1st floor and the 7/11 store a few meters aaway from the hotel, there are no other cafes or shops nearby.
