If you looking for a place where you can have an idependet stay, this is it. The price is absolutely great for Asakusa. You can get there directly from the Airport, you have Sumida River at your door. There is the Sensō-ji and the Tokyo Sky Tree in walking distance. Check-In was easy, they even get your luggage in your room for you, when you ask for storage before Check-In-Time. It was quiet at night and I felt save. It was my second or third stay there, I don't remember... but I would stay there everytime again. I felt more independet there as in an hotel and I really like that. It feels more like you rent a flat and live on your own. Since they serve no breakfast I recommend Tomtom Bakery just 5 min walking distance. There you can enjoy delicous pastries and coffee with a view at the Sky Tree.

It's a little bit worn out but it is clean. You can't expect the luxury of a hotel, but there is everything you need including aircondition, amenitys etc. and the staff is really helpful. Some speak very good english.

If hotels were people, I’d probably ask Tabist Urban Stays Asakusa out for coffee — that’s how much I liked it! 😄 The room was spotlessly clean — like a cleaning ninja had passed through, silently and efficiently. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind, almost psychic in how well they anticipated what I needed (okay, they didn’t bring me coffee in bed, but we all have our dreams). The location? Perfect. The subway is just a few steps away, and getting around Tokyo from there is a breeze. Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

Any downsides? Nope. I actually tried to find something to complain about — just to stay balanced — but came up empty-handed. This place has clearly mastered hotel Zen.

Location is great. Duper easy to get Senso-ji and Tokyo Sky Tree. Also easy to get Nrita airport.

Room is little tiny

The location was great. A few minutes walk to the underground station, and Asakusa. Near hotel have 2 convenient store , 1 bakery shop bake fresh evert day so yummy. Bus stop right in front of hotel. The room was tiny but had everything you needed. I will not complain because I think we got a good value for what we paid. It's really good.

The bathroom is a bit outdated. But everything works well. Would be nice if you could have a sitting area just to have a cup of coffee like that.

The location is phenomenal. We took taxis everywhere, it was so cheap. You can get to the center by walk. The proximity to Asakusa is magical, literally 4 minutes by walking. This was the best hotel in terms of location in all 5 times I was in Japan. Also very thorough and high-quality cleaning, the cleaners are very responsive. The staff also amazed with their sympathy. I got sick in the first week, and the staff helped me order a taxi and make an appointment with a doctor.

Of course, the rooms are very, very small. This is a standard situation in Japan. I am 170 cm tall, so I had to spend time in the room in a slight half-bend. For those who come to the room only to sleep, this will not be a problem.

It's 5 minutes walk from asakusa station, and with that you have access to a lot of convenience stores, restaurants, and street foods. Check-in was easy and the front desk isn't Japanese so they speak perfect English. Just remember, you need to be there before 10 PM because it isn't self check-in. Building is equipped with elevator, although there's only one we barely waited for it everytime we used it. Room is not too big, so keep in mind if you plan to bring large suitcase. It has space to open the suitcase fully but with no room to move around. Overall it was a nice stay.

Had a pleasant stay at Tabist. I arrived earlier than check-in time, but they let me store my luggage so I can return later on. Instructions were provided, as well as the pin to my room. It's very accessible with Honjo-Azumabashi Station nearby, as well as Asakusa Station. The whole area is peaceful, but has multiple restaurants and as usual choices of convenient stores. Cleaning service is also provided, which I very much appreciate. There are supplies, vending machine, utensils and microwave oven on the 2nd floor. The room is compact, but has everything I needed. The bed is absolutely comfortable, and I had a restful sleep after returning from a day of walking and exploring. If you're watching a concert at Tokyo Dome, this is only 20-30mins away, so it's quite convenient.

the place is very near in between 2 stations, if you alight at Asakusa station (non ginza line) it's still very straight forward to reach. I like the area, altho it's by the roadside it's mostly not noisy.

Pls take note that they don't put soaps in bottle but rather in packets!, they provide unlimited supply at level 2. I suggest using the bar soap cos it last longer. My room was very compact for single, people who are larger in size or have claustrophobia needs to take note.
