The room itself was modest and a little cramped, but it was ok considering how much it cost. Location was super nice, just a very short walk from Kitashinagawa Station and surrounded by small shops. The streets are well-lit and it was nice taking a stroll even late at night. There's a FamilyMart a few steps next door and some small grocery stores, cafes and small restaurants. There's a laundry room at the basement if you're staying a while. Our room didn't come with cleaning, which I still don't understand if it was normal policy or if there was an option on Booking to pay for it.

The room feels outdated and cramped, but really, other than that we didn't have much problems. The toilet flush wasn't super strong, so flushing twice was needed sometimes. Other than those, our experience was overall an 8/10.

The hotel is a 15 minutes walk away from Shinagawa Station, where you can take the Yamanote Line to go to the major stations of Tokyo. I found the room to be big enough. Less than 2 minutes away there is a convenience store (Family Mart), a supermarket ("my basket"), a nice café (pain du boo) and also a post office, from where I could ship my luggage to my next destination. The staff was very kind, they helped me when I had trouble with a food delivery service and they helped me with my luggage.

I think the checkout is too early, it's until 10 a.m. I didn't have the time to clean up the room as I wished to do. Also, the absence of an elevator/lift is inconvenient. The staff helped me move my luggage up and down, but it was quite heavy and I wish they didn't have to do that.

Stayed here before and chose it again for its good location. Right behind Kitashinagawa station; can reach Shinjuku and Haneda airport within 30 min by train. The room was well equipped for a comfortable stay: microwave, fridge, AC that also acts as heater, hair dryer, electric kettle, hot plate for cooking, bidet and hot water in the bathroom. They also provided a big box with kitchen utensils, very helpful to cook some simple meals. Family Mart is located next to the hotel. There are also stores selling fruits and vegetables close by. Staff at the reception is helpful. Great place for a solo traveller.

No issues with the hotel. If there was a road to the hotel without a railway crossing, that would have been great. It's a bit scary carrying heavy luggage across the railway crossing, as trains pass by frequently and the gate sometimes opens only for a few seconds.

The hotel is near the subway station, the quiet and beautiful district, a lot of shops are near. The room is enough for one person, you have all essential equipment you need. Everything is convenient. The staff is friendly. I mostly enjoyed staying there.

The cleaning staff is a bit noisy, they start they work at about 7 a.m., so you hear they walking back and forth behind the door with their equipment. The price is pretty high. The room is not 100 % clean.

FLEXSTAY INN Shinagawa is very conveniently located, next to Shinagawa station and it provides a quick overnight stay if you're landing late in Tokyo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel very clean and well equipped. The temperature controls.

Most likely this was a miscalculation on our part, but the room is very small for two people, and standard checked luggage. Besides that, there is nothing to complain about. It was a very rainy day and the staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Very close to Shinagawa train station, which has connections to many other noteworthy areas across Tokyo and beyond. Friendly staff who always tried to help, and did, even through a language barrier. Well-equipped room, with a small kitchen area and bathroom, along with a comfortable bed and spacious desk. Convenient and easy to use laundry machines and dryer room inside the hotel. They are open about not doing room service, which I liked, because I felt like the room was my own during my stay, instead of worrying about other people coming in to move things around.

Very spacious and affordable room by Tokyo standards. Building is dated but clean, room has all the essential amenities. A bit far from Shinagawa main station, but the elevated walkway there is nice. Better than Kitashinagawa transfer.

Window view of the courtyard is a bit dreary. Not much decor in general. No elevator, better to travel light.

Everything, its very comfortable stay, and the room is filled with many utilities that help the stay, such as ih kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, small tv and much more. The price is affordable as its located very near the train station so its easy to commute and much more and the shops around the inn looks amazing, if only i had more time here i would explore more.

I loved the neighbourhood. It may seem quiet but I suggest staying in Shinawaga. You have a train station nearby that connects you not only to Tokyo, but to the whole country. There also amazing restaurants nearby. The hotel is also great and there is a useful minimart right by it.

Being very close to the Shinagawa JR station, it made our life very easy coming from the Haneda airport late at night. The staff was extremely helpful checking us in at late in the evening. The rooms are very small but clean, and we found the bed comfy enough.

The room is extremely small, which is quite usual in Japan. It's absolutely fine for 1 or 2 nights and for solo travellers, perhaps not the best choice for couples or for more than 2 nights. But it's really a minor thing, everything else is excellent.
