Staff are friendly and helpful. Guest room free coffee and teas for guests. Free ice cubes from ice dispenser machine. Some basic paid facilities like laundry, vending machines etc.

Location is on the slope, abit challenging to to walk from Shinagawa train station if your are carrying luggages.

I like location of the hotel, walking distance from Shinagawa station, which easy to many train lines and Shinkansen. The room is clean and hotel provided necessary stuffs in the room. I would like to recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located on the slope, so it may not good for someone who carry many stuffs walking from the station to the hotel. This is only concern I have.

Comfortable 3-star hotel with complete amenities and helpful staff. Though it's around 550meters fr the station, if you have luggages, it is quite a struggle going to the hotel but if you are travelling light, this is a good budget hotel for your Tokyo travels.

You could hear people in the hallway returning to their room, but it wasn't a major issue.

It's a nice little hotel with no frills. economical and a great location. they have everything needed in the room. also lounge has free tea and coffee. Breakfast is nice, even though exactly same every day, it still is quite filling. They also have money exchange machine and it was very helpful, so I could exchange my dollars and Euros as and when needed. Overall very good stay.

Rooms are little small. But I suppose they must be having larger rooms too. Early check is difficult and one has to pay per hour basis. Little consideration for senior citizens, specially for those who have travelled by a long haul flight will be better. However reception staff was very helpful and I got my room with early check in.

This is a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We actually stayed on 2 occasions, once with breakfast and once without. I highly recommend the breakfast. There is a guest room with newspapers, and complimentary pod coffee. There is also a laundry (did not use) and vending machines. I would stay again, and Shinagawa as a location is excellent, Close to Haneda airport, and the Shinkansen stops at Shinagawa also. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the station, and there are many dinner options close by.

The room was quite big compared to others in Japan. The location was quite good and walkable from the train station although the walk from the station to the hotel was uphill. Generally this is okay but not in the rain as experienced by us. We booked a taxi from the hotel to the station upon departing as it was still raining, two days later. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel is clean and well managed.

There were no wardrobes in the room. OK as we only stayed two nights. We preferred shower facilities rather than bath tubs. Hotel should have a mix of these facilities.

Value for money especially for peak season, a 7-10min walk of a bit uphill after crossing the road from Shinagawa station - Tanakawa exit. We stayed 5 days and The room has been cleaned everyday. There's a lounge where you can have free coffee and tea for all the guest. A vendo machine if you want other drinks, sandwich and noodles then Also a laundry area. They allowed us to leave our luggage after 11am check out since our flight still at night.

Small space to walk around when it occupied by our 3 luggages and stuff. No cabinet and safety deposit box. A bit hot, we don't know how to lower the temp of the heater, we just open the window 😅 since it is cold outside...But still ok, we manage to adjust. Definitely will stay here again if the rate is still good😊

Location is brilliant for the money, near Shinagawa station and close to a couple of 7-11s so you'll never be caught out. Laundry machine is super convenient as you don't have to add your own detergent and it takes care of the drying too. There's also a room off to the side while you wait with free coffee and tea.

It's basically on top of a hill so good luck dragging your luggage up the hill. And you really have to take care of your luggage going downhill lest it rolls all the way down. Its not a deal breaker but if you are less physically able this may be a problem.

Shinagawa Tobu Hotel was our last stay in our Trip close to the Haneda Airport. The location is great and the personnel was very courteous and friendly with us. The rooms themselves were clean. For the location its definitely a fine value accommodation.

The AC and fridge were very loud. The bathroom wasn't quite as nice as to what we were used to from our other stays and had some of that typical bathroom mold. I personally wouldn't recommend staying here for a long time. But for a couple of nights it served our purpose, to have one last day in Shibuya and get to the airport hassle free the next morning, perfectly.
