-location is superb! its right outside the Gotanda Station gantry. perfect for after a long day of walking and you just want to get to ur hotel stat + its not noisy at all considering the proximity to the train tracks -Gotanda station is only around 3 stops (6 minutes) to shinagawa station which has the Shinkansen stops so traveling to other cities is also very convenient. shibuya shinjuku tokyo station etc. is also easy to reach from this station! the neighborhood is relatively quiet but not ghostly, there’s a donki store that opens just behind the hotel (opens until 1AM) -there’s also a convenient store, restaurants, and a 24 hour mcdonald nearby (around 20-30 meters), also the hotel is on 3F, uniqlo is on the 2F -staffs are really kind and helpful + they will try their best to communicate with you using translate apps if they don’t understand -amenities spread out on the lobby are wonderful! you can take as much as you need. there r awesome bath salts, face wash, moisturizer, etc! + there’s also free coffee -the hotel was just renovated for a little over 2/3 years so everything looks new and nice -room is just nice for 2 (its a bit cramped but thats almost always the case with tokyo hotels) -TV is smart TV and you can watch youtube netflix etc, they also give you chargers for phones etc in the drawer which is thoughtful -toilet and bath is separated and the bath is awesome! :) overall a great stay! value for everything!! will recommend to other people

You are literally on top of the train station, so the transportation to all of the main areas in downtown Tokyo is super easy. Gotanda is neat too - because it it a more commercial/residential district, there are a lot of really good food and karaoke options nearby. Even though you are close to the trains, though, we barely heard them.

The hotel rooms are small by American standards.

Fantastic location on top of Gotanda station so really close to the Yamanote line (and you still don't really hear anything from the trains except an occasional low rhythmic thumping), nice room with a great bathroom, good a/c, access to good washing machines in the hotel, clean and good quality overall.

Only minor gripe is there's no real place to hang wash if you've washed things that can't be dried in the machine. No washing line like other hotels have. But the a/c is do effective I just hung it up at the entrance by the jackets on the coat hangers and it dried up very well still.

Loved the location! Super convenient being on top of Gotanda station. Gotanda itself is close to Shinagawa, making airport transfer easy, especially from Haneda. It connects to the asakusa line and also only a couple of stops from Shibuya and Ebisu which was great. The room itself was compact, typical Japanese style. But we could still comfortably store 2 suitcases, with one being sled underneath the bed. The bathtub was also nice and they offer various bath salts at reception. Nothing at all. However my husband did struggle to communicate in English with the staff present. He was asking if there were any gyms nearby but the staff struggled to understand. Which is not really a fault and didnt impact our stay.

Very near from the train station. Great view of the city from 9th floor. Conveniently located from everything including restaurants, drugstore, local bars, and cafes.

No coffee in the room.

It is just above Gotanda train station. Very convenient to travel to other location. There are also other food joint and malls around the hotel.

The room I booked is abit small. My family bring 2 lugguges and we are not able to open it up freely

Excellent location (really smooth transportation from Narita airport and to everywhere in the city), helpful staff, breakfast was delicious (you can choose 1 from 3 different sets of the day) and we also had lunch once at the cafe which was also very tasty. The room was always clean and the facilities were quite new, and the bed was comfortable. There was also an air purifier & humidifier in the room, which was both powerful and quiet. If you want the cleaning staff to change towels during your stay you may need to inform the reception desk in advance. In general, the hotel has all the advantages for those who are going on business trips in Tokyo.

Located right above Gotanda station (JY & Asakusa Line), super convenient! 3 stops away from Shibuya and 6 stops away from Shinjuku. Breakfast at carroll was really nice, they have 3 sets of breakfast for rotation, good variety of choice. Check in and out were seamless and fast. Wide range of amenities you can take at reception level 3. And you may also connect your Netflix acc in the tv.

If you choose to not clean your room, you will need to collect water bottles from reception. Apart for the main course for breakfast, to have more variety of breakfast side dishes and breads.

It was a convenient location. Room was big enough considered it’s Japanese hotels which are tiny. Nice and modern, they have apps that I can access my YouTube and Netflix account to watch. Also have access on tv to when a laundry machine is available so I don’t have to line up or go out to check. Free ice, which is a plus to those that like to drink.

The first two stays my legs were really itchy and started to have rashes. I went to the front desk and informed about the issue and they changed the beddings and I was allowed to change rooms if I wanted. I decided to not switch rooms, after changing the beddings it was fine.
