I mistakenly booked a Smoking room and I’m a non smoker. At first the odor was unbearable and I called them to see if I could change my room. I had literally no expectations because it had been my fault, but they SO NICELY found a room in a non smoking floor for me. I stayed for 10 days so it would’ve been a nightmare otherwise. I am beyond grateful that they were able to accommodate. Getting my towels changed every day and trash taken out every day was amazing. The cleaning every three days was perfect as I’m not messy, and overall service was great. They have coin laundry so I was even able to go back home with my clothes ready to be put back in the drawers. I LOVED IT. They also give you pajamas which made it easier for me as I didn’t bring any :)

Breakfast didn’t offer fruit but otherwise it was pretty decent and some options.

A perfect budget-friendly hotel for a short stay. I booked this for one night to crash in after a very long day of traveling from America to Japan, and it fit all of my expectations. The bathroom was clean and a good enough size for me. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the easy login access to Netflix on the tv. I took a nice shower and snuggled right into the covers with Netflix on to unwind from the day. The staff was super welcoming and spoke good English. The location was in a quieter part of Tokyo with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. It was also only 2 stops from Shinagawa station, which was where I was taking the shinkansen out of the next day, making it very easy to get up and get out the following morning.

There is very little walking space in the room. I brought a medium sized suitcase, backpack and carry-on from my travels and with those in the room it was quite crowded. This would not be a good accommodation for those who need to get in and out of big suitcases consistently and not for people traveling in pairs or more. For some reason the tv volume also does not go above 25. I think this is great for not disturbing your neighbors but it would have been nice to have it go a bit higher.

the location is convenience for guests who wants to be around shibuya, shinjuku, Gotanda areas is another options for lower cost, near JR Gotanda station(Yamanote Line) , the staff is very kind and warm welcome and warm atmosphere once step in the hotel. Tokyu near the hotel for eating and supermarket and shopping, room is clean, shampoo and soap is great, no need to bring when traveling. Ice offered downstair and washing machine also available. Very convenience...Love it

This is my first time staying in this location while in Tokyo, I normally stay in Shinjuku area and to be honest... i actually liked how the area is very quite and not as busy as Shinjuku. Lawsons right in front of the hotel, JR and Metro Subway is 10 min walk. The neighborhood has lots of resto and bars to choose from.

The check out time at 10am is a bit too early... normally most hotels have 11am check out or 12nn check out as standard. I asked if I could be extended for an hour but i was advise to pay for additional 1hr stay...

I chose this hotel mainly for the price so I wasn’t expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it was clean and serviceable with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. I had never been to Gotanda before, but I really liked the vibe—lots of little bars and restaurants, but the area around the hotel is quiet. It was close to Shinagawa too, which was nice because we were heading west on the Shinkansen the next morning.

The bed was a little on the hard side and the pillows were flat, but that could be a personal preference.

Breakfast was an excellent help yourself style with traditional Japanese offerings. The dining room was reasonably spacious. The room itself was also reasonably spacious, clean with all the things one would expect for a hotel in the price range. The shower had good water pressure. A nice pair of waffle weave PJs were provided to wear so you don't have to dig around in your suitcase. It was located a few minutes walk from Gotanda subway station and also various restaurants, etc. Handy for my plans and easy to find snacks and udon noodles.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

It is very difficult to find hotels that are less than 20,000 yen per night in Tokyo these days. 15,000 yen per night in Gotanda, which is only two stops from Shinagawa, is very reasonable. They gave me a room on the top (11th) floor, and it was quiet and had a fairly nice view.

I did not try their breakfast, and cannot comment on their restaurant.

Convenient access from station with plenty of food options nearby. Good amenities, staff seemed strict about not letting non-visitors up.

Room was small but pretty standard for Tokyo. The "small double bed" is indeed also small but was fine for us - might not be a good idea if you're not petite or if you like having a lot of space when you sleep.

Great facilities, comfortable bed, close to the metro station, very well connected with the rest of the city and the main attraction spots. The staff was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage in reception before and after check-in/check-out. The service provided for washing clothes is also super useful. There are many supermarkets and good restaurants nearby. Overall great value for money.

Really nice breakfast, with lots of varieties. Staff from front desk and breakfast are really polite and ready to help you whenever needed. Location is superb, really close to Gotanda Station. Would definitely recommend.

The room is a little bit smaller than I thought.
