Loved my room with the fully stocked kitchen and view of the city. It was spectacular. I could’ve sat in bed all day with that view. Loved the food court downstairs, lockers and how nice the staff was.

They only give 2 room keys and it was three of us. I asked and it’s their policy. It’s a little far from an area with good shopping. Im sure they had a grocery nearby and of course there were convenience/drug stores, but it wasn’t really any clothing places real close. The only close place was BookOff.

We booked the OMO room for a family of 2A and 3C. It came with a bunk bed that fits 3. The adults slept in the sofa bed which was very spacious. The view was beyond excellent. The food court below the hotel was also a great life saver as we managed to have our meals there when we were too tired to head out (as the walk to the train station was a good 10 to 15 mins). The laundry facilities in the hotel was a great addition too.

The sofa bed (although spacious) was a bit too hard. I had backache after sleeping for a few nights. Location not the best as the walk to the train station was a good 10 to 15 mins. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning but didn't think it was value for money.

The hotel was so peaceful and beautiful, very well maintained. Staff was super nice and welcoming. Location was perfect for us. Gotanda Station on the JR Yamanote Line was the primary line about 5 minutes walk away, and Osakihirokoji Station on the Ikegami Line was super convenient to have around the corner from the hotel. Many convenient stores options nearby like Natural Lawsons and Family Marts. Gotanda has lots of food options and also some izakayas that are open late. Our fave was "Source" for okonomiyaki and teppanyaki, and "Nakau" for some cheap late night Japanese fast food.

I knew that the breakfast at the hotel does not change so if someone reading this is staying more than 3 or 4 mornings like us, the breakfast was no longer exciting by the 3rd morning and we would not recommend paying for breakfast in advance for your entire stay (unless you really like Onigiri in the morning or the American breakfast which had too much bread in my opinion!)

Amazing views from clean rooms. Funky and fun decor in the rooms, and multiple room layouts for different size families. Provided loungewear/pyjamas, lounge space in the lobby floor with lots of room and amenities.

Sofa bed/futon set up could be a little comfier/softer. Odd layouts to the rooms. Missed some basic sundries: no plates, scissors, chopsticks, utensils for bringing take out food back to your room. Tiny fridge without a dedicated freezer area.

This hotel is really beautiful, clean and fresh. The deluxe room with four beds was very tight for our family of four but very comfortable.

The cost is overpriced.

This hotel had multiple restaurants on the first floor which was very convenient. It even has its own cafeteria on the 14th floor (reception area). The location is also close enough to 2 subway stations. The hotel itself looks pretty clean and new. The staff was very helpful and nice. The view from the room, overlooking the city, was nice as well. No complaints.

The only thing that I didn't like too much was the room size. It was slightly on the smaller size even for 2 people. I guess, smaller rooms are prevalent in all of Tokyo among many hotels.

The staff in the restaurant was not able to serve you just a coffee in the morning. Only full breakfast package or nothing, the staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. “If you want a coffee or cuppuchino please come after 11:00 pm” hmm very funny… So go down to Starbucks… strange … The hotel is quite new maybe that is the reason for the staff always seemed a bit confused. No concierge service.

Sophisticated overall design, great roof terrace, smart room design for those urban travellers who get irritated by industrial standard hotel solutions.

The only major problem we had was that they failed to prepare our check-in that is usually never an issue in Japan. All names and room list were previously sent, I even went early to the hotel to make sure the smooth arrival of the group at different times during the day. Despite my efforts they refused to hand out the keys even after official check in time, they kept our group members waiting untill I returned, stating that we either have to pay in advance, as if the guarantee of Booking.com is not enough, or the one who made the booking (me), has to be there in person. It was nonsense. Never experienced in my 20+ years of travelling experience in Japan such an unprofessional attitude. They acted as if we had any chance to run away without payment.

The room was a good size, with a lovely view over a cute little railway running through a local neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and joyful, and the hotel was clean and well-appointed.

The only slight detracting factor is that the location isn't near many of Tokyo's big famous attractions. It's a train ride to get anywhere. (Although seeing as Tokyo is so massive, and there's so much to see, being close to one location would always mean others suffer.) On the flip side, there were plenty of excellent places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, and the kids seemed to particularly like this place - probably because of all the nearby konbinis.
