Honestly the best hotel we’ve found in Tokyo and we’ve been 16 times now. They’ve just renovated, so the room literally still smelt of fresh pine. They are very nice Japanese style rooms, with very comfy futons and tatami floors. The bathroom is a decently sized unit bathroom, perfectly serviceable and not too squishy compared to most in Tokyo. The staff are lovely and super helpful too. The location is excellent with heaps of good places for food and coffee within a 15min walk, plus very well connector to transport. It’s nice that’s it’s so well connectors, but also set back a bit from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya station.
Nothing, it was great!

Very friendly staff, room was cozy and futons were comfy. Toilet and sink in our room and a shower was accessible 24/7. Nice to have the option of soaking in a hot bath in the evening, though oddly it seems like the bath isn't gender-separated in any way (there's only one bath and it seems like all guests can access it any time it's open, so I was a little worried about someone walking in but there was never anyone else in the bath at the same time).
There was only one outlet in our room, which did make some things a little inconvenient (like charging and using hair irons). The location was also relatively close to a major highway -- it wasn't too noisy when sleeping, but it can make for a slightly unpleasant walking route to Shibuya station (there are other walking routes you can take though).

The public bath on the first floor that can be locked from the inside was a great way for our family to relax after a long day of walking. The staff were polite and attentive and did everything they could to ensure we were well taken care of. One staff member (I wish I got his name) even went above and beyond and guided us to the train station when he was coming off his shift that morning.
Unfortunately our room's AC wasn't working when we got there. We were lucky that it wasn't super hot during our stay but it was a bit uncomfortable the first 2 nights until they were able to get a replacement. This wasnt an issue for us but as stated in their description, there is no elevator to the upper floor where the rooms are so if you have a lot of luggage or it's heavy, be prepared to do some lifting to get to your room. Also, be aware that there are no black out curtains (at least not in the family tatami style room) so if you're more sensitive to light, this might not be the accommodation for you. We have 2 young children and while they seemed to have slept/napped fine, I think having a darker room would have helped them sleep in longer.

Japanese atmosphere, traditional tatami room with ac and private bathroom, public bath can be made private with a lock
quite loud because of the traditional sliding doors, renovations from 10am-5pm (but we were warned about it and they apologized to us about it) We had an incident were the rack (that holds the shampoo, shower gel) in the bathtub broke during ,normal use‘ while showering. Despite being upfront and transparent about it they made us pay (~250$) for a plastic shelf, which we thought was way too much considering that’s half the cost of our stay for 5 nights, but we managed to lower the cost a bit. We couldn’t talk to the manager directly about it because she / he doesn’t speak English so it was a very frustrating situation where we could only speak through the front desk man (but he was super helpful and friendly)

The personal was really nice and friendly. The place was really great, making us feel in a family pension more than in a random hotel (which was like staying in an authentic place). Special mention to the owner who is so nice and friendly and to one of the room maid who is so cute with her smiling way to greet people (which is really nice in the morning)
Nothing that I didn't like. The only thing I must mention is actually about booking.com : the message system allowed some phishing attempt to appear, luckily the hotel was fast enough to tell me it was not a message from them. Though, once again, it's not connected to the hotel but to booking.com here

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My friend lost their phone, and the hotel let us use them as a point of contact for the police after our stay. The room was clean and simple, with comfortable futons and a very functional, if small, bathroom. There is plenty of space for 2 people in the twin room, with lots of luggage storage space. It's more than enough for two people to recover after touring around Tokyo. I regret not making use of the bathhouse, but it looked clean and comfortable. Pricing was pretty good on a per-person basis, especially for a room with its own toilet.
I was suffering from pretty severe jet lag during my stay, so I spent more time in the room than what I was planning. As far as in-room amenities, it's pretty sparse, though that was why we booked it in the first place. Not really a negative point, but more of an observation.

The hotel has been renovated, so everything is lovely and new. The traditional bath is sensational and the room is very comfortable with aircon and the mattress on the floor was great and sometimes that’s a problem as I’m a little heavy, but this one was perfect. Staff always very helpful and kind. Figuring out the buses made a big difference as the hotel is not near a big station. But buses are frequent.
I wished for a little more provision for hanging up my clothes. And although there is cold/hot water and tea/coffee stuff in the foyer, that’s a long way to carry a tiny cup of water. I missed the flasks and cups that used to be in the rooms.

We really enjoyed the traditional style of the room, we slept in futons and the room was lined with tatami, which was lovely. There was a working air conditioner, a small TV, and slippers. Quite limited ammenities but workable. We had an ensuite (toilet), but had to share the shower with a few rooms, which was fine as the shower was right next door. There were other shared toilets throughout the hotel. About a 15 minute walk from Shibuya Station. Hot water and water refill were available downstairs.
The room was extremely small (or maybe we had huge suitcases!), but it was hard to fully open the suitcases. However, we understand that is pretty standard for most hotels. Just beware when booking this hotel if you are one to pack a lot like me.

First i was a bit sceptical, very small room (only 9m2) and shared bathroom. But it was actually great. Our twin room just had 2 really comfy beds, AC, a fridge and space to put your luguage. In the hallway you find 2 toilets and 2 sinks. On the first floor there were 2 shared showers. Everything was clean and looks new. Staff was friendly, Its around 10-15min walk to Shibuya crossing, but you can also take a bus. Supermarket around the corner.
Really nothing :-)

- This place has cozy, traditional vibes. Me and my bf stayed here for 5nights and we really enjoyed it. 😊 Especially the private bath was really good. You can use it in specific time, whenever the private bath is not in use by someone else. It was very clean and the water temperature was perfect! 👍🏻 - The facility is very clean in general, organized and easily approachable. (15min by walk from Sibuya station) - The staffs are always at the counter 24/7. So whenever you have inquiries or questions, you know where to reach. Also they are super polite and friendly! 🩷
