We adored the area! So lovely, next to Ueno park with lots of green and museums, and a residential neighbourhood full of older smaller houses but also many tiny restaurants and cute shops. The hostel had a nice modern design, comfy beds (if a bit small, but we managed) nice breakfast (the chowder and the pancakes were great filling day starters) and a small thing but I really appreciated the cloth refresher spray! Staff was friendly and helpful too. Thanks for everything Nezu!

Nothing really, especially for the price it was a great stay and we’d return.

It's my third stay at Graphy, first after COVID. Although there has been changes since then, the service at Graphy was excellent as usual, the room maintained well and the overall vibe and feel of the space is still as calm and friendly. Room was all I needed, extra pillows requested were supplied promptly and great (firm ones too!). The bathroom, while small, was adequate for all I needed as a solo traveller. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, it is a good respite from busy Tokyo.

The walk to and from Ueno to Graphy is often difficult with luggage, but I understand you can circumvent that with a quick and affordable taxi ride (I haven't tried this). Was not able to get the beer on tap after they changed the welcome drinks to bottles, but was still good.

Perfect location to nice areas of Tokyo. Metro closeby and trainstation slightly further. Friendly and easygoing staff. Nice and clean rooms, toilets and bathrooms. We were late booking a stay for Tokyo, so i.o. a familyroom with bathroom, we booked two twinrooms with shared bathrooms. It was so nicely organised and clean; we were happy. They offer breakfast and meals in their cafe, where we enjoyed the happy hour. But there is a lounge area where you can also cook your own meals. Our children loved playing pool and table-football. Would definitely book this hotel again.

One of the nicest and most helpful staff I ever encountered. Perfect for at least weekly stay esp if you need to do some remote work in the lobby. Full amenities in the room, and great breakfast options. Prices are very decent for what you get. Overall design is cool, clean and smooth, and some rooms can include bathrooms. Location wise, hard to judge: very practical if you need to stay in Ueno though a bit of a walk from the station, otherwise Nezu is very cute and underrated local area.

Walls can be thin, and rooms thus noisy if you are directly on street level.

I loved they have cafe there. I loved their burger so much. The bed was so big and though air condition seemed old, it could keep me warm. It was nice that the place near station (Nezu Station is the nearest), and you can also go to Ueno Park by walking. Also, I really loved they had tee freebies that you can bring and make in your room which was so delicious.

The place was like on some housing complex because I think it was the only hotel nearby, it was so quiet. It was a good thing when you slept but when you bring your suitcase, you get the nervous feeling that you make some annoying noise because of the wheel. The bed and the desk takes some space so it is quite hard to open the suitcase. But it is still manageable.

This is a nicely designed hostel. The complementary beer at 6pm is nice and facilities are good. It is a nice neighbourhood and close to subway station. The staff are lovely. I found the breakfast was good too. Large lockers to store bags are convenient. Washing clothes was easy although the drier is slower than I would like.

I found the mattress / pillow to be too thin. My two accommodation since had better ones. This meant I slept quite poorly. The price of hostel dorm is not much cheaper than budget hotel, but when you consider the facilities it is still good value here.

Hidden gem. Location is very good and easy to reach, not in the hustle of Shibuya which makes for a calmer stay. About 20min from Tokyo station. Had a bunk bed which was fully enclosed with a curtain, power socket and large locker. Room had air purifier and AC, very comfortable and large bed, even at almost 2m I could fit. Showers were exceptional, albeit a bit of a walk from the dorm. Facilities are where this place excels. Fully equipped kitchen with 5 or 6 sinks, cooking areas, Le Creuset pots and utensils, all kitchen appliances you could wish for. This place can be used to cook for an entire school class or elaborate dinners for yourself. Great lounge with pool, foosball, TV, reading area etc. Could not be better value for money in Tokyo. Restaurant on site is good, breakfast with good options and great times for people sleeping late. Building in general is clean and bathrooms are large and comfortable.

Breakfast was good. Location was good and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with unique shops with Ueno & Yanaka within walking distance. Appreciated the staff scrapbook with recommended places to visit. Maybe more English within it would help, but still useful. Liked the shared kitchen and lounge spaces on first floor. Room with no carpeting was good too.

Room with frosted windows, no view and no screen when I opened the window. Kind of dangerous looking. Room furniture showed wear from overuse. The wallpaper was showing age as well with pealing on seams. The refrigerator and desk lamp shared same outlet so there was no spare to use for charging items on the desk. The other outlet was on middle of wall so items charging had to rest on floor or luggage. Odd placements.

This place was just so good. I couldn't recommend it more. It's such a lovely lively place with lots of lovely people from everywhere and of different ages. We are a couple and were able to have our super quiet experience but if you are with friends you can enjoy a community space with huge kitchen, pool table, sitting area, etc. The restaurant is delicious super cheap and had lots of vegan options which was such a great surprise. There's also a happy hour for beer! The place is super welcoming, well decorated and has lots of life to it. There's a cute terrasse on the 1st floor as well as on the rooftop. You can go for breakfast until 10.30am it's the dream! And it helped us discover Nezu which is such a lovely place full of cute shops and the great Ueno park. Honestly we couldn't have been happier!

The bed was slightly small and not the most comfortable is the only slightly lower point but nothing major!

Nice staff, clean and tasty food. The hotel is Built in a smart and efficient way. Solo and Twin rooms are a little small but great for the value paid. The hotel is Located in a very clean and quit neighberhood. This can be perfect for travellers wishing to take a break for a few days from tokyo's big city vibe found in other locations of the city. At a radius of a kilometer from Graphy, you can find many interesting touristic attractions, like bars and markets in Ueno neighberhood, swan boat lake, Senso ji and so on.. I especially reccommend this hotel for solo travelers which are interested in meeting other international traveleres.

Honestly i really enjoyed my time there.
