Awesome room! We had a full couch and table area, which allowed us to comfortably spread out over the 4 nights we stayed here. Bed was also large and comfortable as well. Nice toiletries and amenities. Got great sleep here. The view was also pretty great, since we could see Senso-ji in the distance! Location is fantastic; there's a Lawson right across the street, and you are super central to all the sights in Asakusa. Senso-ji is only about 10-15min walk away. The Hisago-dori Shopping St is right around the corner and connects you to all the little streets and alleys full of cute artisan shops, cafes, food stalls...etc. We paid for breakfast our last morning and it was pretty good! Appreciated the vegan curry and other vegetarian options available, since that is difficult to find in Japan. Felt a little on the pricier side, but quality was good. Not sure if we just got super lucky with the pricing or if booking several months ahead made the difference, but the cost/value ratio was pretty phenomenal given the experience. Would love to stay here again.

Honestly nothing to complain about regarding our stay. Only tip for other visitors staying in Asakusa is that it's not a very central station for the subways/trains. We almost always had to transfer going to Shibuya, Shinjuku, and other parts of Tokyo.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel MONday in Asakusa, Tokyo, and it exceeded all my expectations. From its unbeatable location to its convenient amenities and helpful staff, this hotel truly made my trip memorable. First and foremost, the location of Hotel MONday is a standout feature. Just a 5-minute walk away from the iconic Sensoji Temple, it's a dream come true for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Tokyo. Being able to explore this historical treasure at any time of the day was a surreal experience. In the evening, I found myself returning to the temple's vibrant and lively Nakamise Shopping Street for some delicious street food and unique souvenirs. Right across the street from the hotel is a Lawson convenience store, a lifesaver for quick snacks, drinks, and any essentials you might need during your stay. This made it incredibly convenient, and I often found myself stopping by for a quick breakfast or late-night snacks. Another highlight of Hotel MONday is the coin laundry facility on the 2nd floor. When you're traveling, clean clothes are a must, and this amenity made it a breeze to freshen up my wardrobe without the hassle of searching for a laundromat. It's these thoughtful touches that set Hotel MONday apart from the rest. What truly sets this hotel apart is the remarkable staff. Every member of the team was not only welcoming but also incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to assist with directions, recommendations, and any other queries I had, making me feel right at home. Their dedication to ensuring guests have a comfortable and memorable stay is truly commendable. Hotel MONday in Asakusa is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to this incredible city.

One area where Hotel MONday could see improvement is in terms of room space. The rooms, while comfortable and well-appointed, are on the smaller side. For solo travelers or couples, this might not be a significant issue, but for those with more extensive luggage or a preference for more space, it can feel a bit cramped. However, this limitation in space did not overshadow the hotel's many positive aspects, and I still found it to be a fantastic place to stay in Asakusa.

I liked that right in front of the hotel there was a bus you can take. The shrine was a 6 minute walk from the hotel so that was nice and a bunch of convenient stores near by in case you were hungry or what not.

Not much but i guess the variety of the breakfast, but im only really nitpicking. The issue with Japan is that most restaurants won’t open until 11:30am. So having a variety breakfast would be nice. I understand having a Japanese breakfast is an experience but would be nice to have other things as well, but once again I’m nitpicking.

Great location. Wonderful staff, all very efficient, friendly and willing to help. They went out of their way on a couple of occasions in an endeavour to satisfy our requests. The the breakfast choices were great, and the opportunity to use that room for bring-in meals was very welcome.

Nothing negative to report.

We loved everything from the hotel. The premises were very comfortable and clean. The service was excellent, all the staff speak English and they were super helpful. The location is also great! There’s a bus station, convenience store and mailbox ( you will need it to return the pocket wifi) right infront of the hotel. Walking distance to subway station, attractions, stores and restaurants.. but still quiet. We stay there at the beginning of our trip and were super happy to come back at the end of it!

Nothing really. I would do note that the closest subway station is 10-12’ walk for those who see that as an issue. We enjoyed our stroll to the subway and always found stores to visit on the way

We loved staying at MONday Hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with very clean and modern facilities. The rooms were exceptionally clean and bigger than the Japan standards. It had all the basic amenities and toiletries were provided. Staff speak English and were always ready to help in whatever you need. Hotel has a small cafeteria where they serve breakfast but we opted to eat outside. Hotel has a money exchange machine. The hotel is on a walking distance to the Asukusa Temoles and of restaurants and commercial stores. I travelled alone with my teen daughter and we always felt safe to walk around. We stay for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip and were happy to come back for the last 2 nights of our trip

The little small inconvenience is that, though there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, the nearest subway stations are 10-15’ away. We didn’t mind walking. We downloaded the GO app - similar to uber - and use it to go to the hotel from Tokyo station ($11-15) and to go back to HND (~$90)

-Room is super clean and has quite large space for business hotel. -Located in Asakusa area, very close to Senso-ji and many restaurants. -Train is accessible. -Japaneses staff’s English is very good. Although I can comunicate in Japanese, their communication is comprehensible. -Toilet and shower room is so huge.

-The closet station is Asakusa of Tsukuba express line which cost you extra 210 JPY if you take the train from/to JR Akihabara. You can also take Asakusa metro station, although it is longer walking distance (about 15-20 min walking) but from there it is easier to go various places by using only one transportation system to save another few yen.

I had reservations when I booked this hotel because it seemed out of the way. It's about 15 minutes walk from the nearest train station with our bags. However, it was such a good deal! It costs HALF of how much we would have paid for if we had stayed in Shinjuku in a similar hotel. Also, it is located in a place where there are quaint shops and restaurants. Asakusa is such a nice place to roam around, especially in the afternoon. It's a little quieter than Shinjuku or Shibuya. Once you get the hang on how to get around Tokyo (by bus or train), traveling from the hotel is a breeze! The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Make sure you use it! Google maps and a SUICA card are your friends!!!! The hotel room is small but adequate! If you have a humongous bag, it'll be a challenge to open, so be warned. The bathroom is fantastic! We loved the big shower/bath area with the lovely amenities! Beds are comfy. They provided 2 pillows each. Coffee (drip coffee) and tea are provided at the dining area downstairs, so you may take some to your room. The best part is the staff! They're so accommodating and polite! Some hotels we were looking at didn't have staff, and that was a big part of how we decided to book this hotel instead. It's wonderful when you can actually talk to someone regarding inquiries. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, lovely rooms although slightly small but I hear this is common for Japan in general. Great location only a short walk to Sensoji temple (gets very crowded during the day so recommend going early or late for best pictures) staff were lovely and great rooftop view of sky tree and sensoji

Please note that they have 2 housekeeping services (same price but you choose what you want each day) the basic package they will only empty bins and swap towels over so if you want things like your bed making you will have to put the sign up each day. Personally I’m not fussed about a new towel each day but it would have been nice for them to make the bed. Especially as most hotel sheets are so long they just draped all over the floor

The hotel is located in a convenient spot in Asakusa, close to the food, shops, and Senso-ji but away enough to be quiet at night. The room was a bit small for 3 people, but as expected with most Japanese hotels so no real complaints there. The best part was the staff! They were so incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions and explained things very thoroughly. We wanted to send our larger luggage to our next city, Kyoto, and the staff called our Kyoto hotel to arrange everything and confirmed the date/time with us. I have previously been given the TA-Q-BIN form to fill out myself and present to the staff at other hotels, but the staff at MONday had everything entered on their end and I was just given a printed receipt with tracking info for my bag. Will definitely stay here again!

Would appreciate some more toiletry amenities in the lobby such as face lotion, makeup remover, etc. They are more specific items, but I have appreciated it greatly at some other hotels I've stayed at in Japan.
