Location was good walking distance to Ueno Park and station The lounge was a bonus as was the sake and ramen View was good Staff tried to be helpful and had information printed out for guests

The entrance to our room was often blocked by used linen and rubbish bags Not good having to step over rubbish to reach your room. Staff were sorting through rubbish outside our room. When I asked about this they said we could move but it would cost more This was unpleasant and Spoilt our stay Room was expensive and really the linen and rubbish should be handled better not outside guest rooms

Great location, so close to Ueno Station which made it a breeze to travel throughout Tokyo and even could go to other parts via the Shinkansen there. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond, so polite and helpful, most of them spoke very good English. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a lot of culinary options. Our particular hotel had the buffet on the 14th floor so we had a great view. We also liked the feature that let us know from the TV in the room if the coin operated washing machines and dryers in the hotel were in use or free. The shower in the room was a good size and the amenities were good.

We didn’t like the pillows at the hotel. They only give one pillow per bed and it’s a small pillow. We had to ask for more pillows. Usually hotel pillows are comfortable, but these weren’t the most comfortable.

Location was good, right by several train and subway stations, room was very clean, with a good bathroom. Breakfast was great value, 2000 yen for a very good buffet. We liked the sake evening in the restaurant space on the 14th floor. Internet was very good.

The standard room is very small, with NO shelves, wardrobes or drawers to put our stuff, so we had to live out of our suitcases, which is hard in such a small room. The charge for early checkin, when there was clearly an empty room available, was very high.

Clean. Helpful staff. Lots of hooks in the room to hang things (tho a small thing, this is such a convenient quality of life improvement for travelers). They were able to offer late checkout (for an hourly fee that was reasonable), not all hotels allow this so it was nice that they could since it helped ease some stress on our departure day schedule

Minor things that may be more personal preference: their default pillow (yes only 1 pillow per bed) flattens down to nothing with any weight put on it. I cannot sleep on those kinds of pillows. But they did give us extra pillows when we asked. It can be a bit of a wait for the elevator sometimes.

1. Hotel is in a pretty great location. It is right next to Naka-Okachimachi station (Hibiya or Oedo Line) so getting to DisneySea was very quick and easy. It is 5-ish minutes from Okachimachi station (Yamanote or Keihin-Tohoku Line). It's also not too far (~10 minutes) from Ueno Station and Ueno-Hirokoji. It is across the street from 7-11 and just blocks from Ameyoko and Okachimachi eating and shopping areas. ~15 minutes from Ueno Park. The location made us really appreciate what Ueno has to offer. I had previously stayed in Inaricho, on the Ginza line, but found this location preferable. 2. We fit 3 adults in a Double Room with Extra Bed (it had 3 twins). Even though there was not a ton of space to open up all our luggage, we still fit 6 suitcases and 3 backpacks in the room, so it can accommodate more than you think. The hooks on the wall help and you can squeeze some narrower things under the bed. The twin beds were the perfect size and had outlet sockets next to them. We loved our 13th floor room because we had a wonderful view of Tokyo Skytree. In terms of noise, I heard almost nothing from other rooms. Cannot say if it was because we were high up, but past Japan rooms I stayed in had a lot of street noise and this one was basically silent. 3. The bathroom has a toilet and sink anteroom and a separate inner room for shower/bath. It includes both a bathtub and and shower area so that room is like a wet room, but it's closed off from the toilet/sink. The sink area has storage underneath which was really helpful. We liked that they did not include tiny bottles of shampoo or soaps, but big pump bottles that they refilled. 4. Towels can be changed every day and they are large size, plushy towels. You also get robes. 5. The room does have air conditioning! It just took us awhile to locate the panel, so we had to open the window at first. 6. There are washer/dryers and an ice machine on 2F!

1 bottle of water per day is provided per guest if you choose eco cleaning. However, you need to request it from the front desk. It would have been nice if these were replaced during tidying, but I get why. The mini fridge is a bit small and did not get very cold. The rooms don't have phones to call the front desk. You can call if you have a Japanese number but usually we just went down to make requests. As is typical for Japanese hotels, check-in is not until 3:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am. Because of this strict window, there are always tons of bags being stored in the lobby. But it is nice that they are still willing to store your bags for a bit even after you check out.

Location is great- closest subway station just couple meters from the hotel. Breakfast has Japanese and western options as well. Restaurant is located on 14th floor so view is spectacular!

They forgot set up room for 3 people instead of 2, so fist night one of us slept without pillow and didn't have bath towel. Next night hotel stuff fixed it.

The location was good depending on where you want to go (great for Ueno, Akihabara, Asakusa) and had easy access to a few subway lines. I was worried that its proximity to busy roads and subways would make it noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised that I was never bothered with noise. Check in/out was easy and the front desk was very friendly. The bathroom was nice and the beds were comfortable and clean. Overall, a great place to stay, but nothing extremely notable.

The breakfast was okay, but tilted towards western cuisine, which is not my preference when traveling.

We had a Prime Deluxe King Room. Very spacious by Tokyo standards. Clean and lots of hooks and a little closet to hang things on. Nice guest laundry. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Helped us find a shabu shabu place, to navigate the metro as well as what was walkable. The breakfast buffet had the best quality food and variety of foods of all the places we stayed in Japan. It was even beautifully displayed and kept well stocked by the friendly staff. The dinning room is on the top floor had lots of natural light and views of the city. The free Ramen they serve nightly in their dining room with a view is a nice touch. Great way to mingle with other guests. and enjoy their night, cityscape view. We got a nice pic of the Tokyo Tower all lit up there. Wonderful location in Ueno, relatively quiet by Tokyo standards, near Tokyo National Museum and other sites that share the park with it. Walking distance to Electric Town. Very close to a metro station with a direct line to Ginza, just a 20 minute metro ride to the quaint Yanaka district. And just one stop away from the larger Ueno Station for access to other trains, including shinkansen. However, we took a cab to Ueno Station for shinkansen to avoid hauling bags up MANY stairs to get from metro stop at Ueno to shinkansen.

Only thing that wasn't that comfy was the bed. The mattress it was VERY firm, almost no give at all. Pillows that came with the room were tiny and thin. The staff did give us some extra that were a bit plumper, which helped. Other thing that was weird is that the light switches and charging plug near one side of the bed were directly above the mattress so that you blocked them when sitting up in bed to read. This would be easy to remedy as it looks like the wall panel that contains this could easily be moved over one panel so it's not right over the bed.

Strategic location, very near to almost everything you need within few metres away to 2km - mall, eateries, train, groceries. Offer limited FREE Ramen at night which really a value added to the guests and the restaurant have a great view of the Tokyo City Centre. Very helpful staffs that always prepare to offer their assistant when needed. Overall a great experience staying here.

Nothing much on this, but there are a few family members complaint to have some skin rashes and itchiness during the stay which I suspect could be due to dustmite. Maybe will need a little bit more of in depth cleaning to the mattress and duvets. Cleanliness still have room of improvement as I still notice some stains on the wall in the room but is not affecting my overall experience.
