The location is great, 220m from the Tawaramachi station. The room is bigger than the other rooms I've had in Tokyo. It is also close to a few izakaya. It was only a one-night stay so I didn't manage to explore the neighbourhood. But overall, a comfortable stay and good location. One stop away from JR Ueno, and it was easy to travel between Narita airport via the Keisei Railway.

I was there with my group but i stayed alone in my room. The room was good. I really love the breakfast here. It is like a breakfast set. So good! Great location,, you can walk to tawaramachi station(ginza line) about 200 m. And also can walk to Asakusa station about 650 m. To take a direct train to Narita Airport.

The fridge isn’t work in my room. The pillow wasn’t good

The room was great. While it was small, the space was well designed and well-utilised. There was more than enough space for me - though I tend to pack light and only had one carry on sized bag. The bathroom was bigger than some others in these sort of hotels in Japan. I saw some reviewers saying the bed and pillow was hard or uncomfortable but I found it very comfortable. I loved the Japanese pillows! I even had a cute little nook with a bench seat at the window overlooking Asakusa. It was very quiet and the aircon allowed me to adjust the temperature to my preferences. It had everything I needed and for the price it was fantastic!

Good location for sightseeing in Asakusa with metro stops/ train station nearby. Restaurants/ cafes around. Option to have breakfast/ dinner at the hotel. We were able to hire softer pillows. Good shower pressure, toletries provided. Clean, 'cozy' room. Friendly staff. Overall good base for exploring.

Not much room for suitcases but manageable. Next time I would ask for a room with street view. Window faced side building which made the room rather dark.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room I stayed in was clean and well kept, and the location is very central to all attractions in Asakusa. It is very walkable and only a couple minutes to the nearest train station. There are also a variety of vending machines within the building, allowing for easy access to drinks. Also being able to store my luggage at the front desk before checking in and after checking out was a huge benefit.

When staying in the standard rooms, there's no way to control the temperature in your room. However this was communicated at the time of booking, so I was given a fair heads up. The beds are extremely firm and I wasn't able to get great sleep. The provided pillow is also very uncomfortable, however you can request after pillows from the front desk, provided they are limited.

The hotel is just about an hour train ride from Narita airport - which is quite an advantage if you land in Narita which is far from the rest of the town. It’s conveniently located a few min walk from Tawaramachi station on two subway lines. Its neighbourhood is neat and quiet with the Akasaka shopping street, 24hr Donki, Rox shopping mall and the kitchenware street within walking distance. I was aiming for diy accessory parts and the shopping distract at Akasakabashi was heaven - which is less than 20min walk or two subway stops away. Staffs were very helpful and walked the extra mile to help prior to my arrival. The room is more spacious than many other hotels at similar price.

The bathroom was a bit stuffy when i first checked in as ventilation didnt seem sufficient. So i left the aircon on for a while and it worked.

Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful when checking in and were happy to assist with queries about local restaurants and train services. The rooms were cleaned daily and there was an interesting and delicious take on breakfasts (tip: try them all if you can) The free happy hour from 4pm to 7pm was an added bonus when we came in every evening after an exhausting day sightseeing. If you are thinking of coming to Asakusa we would highly recommend this hotel. It is close to the subway, the river, wonderful restaurants and the Sky tower - a perfect spot really.

The staff were kind and respectful. They spoke English well. The facilities were clean and they provided lots of towels. The location is the best part, right in Asakusa! It is near Senso-ji and don quijote so you can do your souvenier shopping on the last day. And there are so many cheap and delicious food areas within walking distance! I highly recommend monjayaki in the late night, asakusa’s specialty. Also they had complimentary beer!

This may be a cultural thing but the pillows were super firm. I had to buy a pillow from don quijote. Also the a/c was too loud, had to turn it off while sleeping.

The location is fantastic. There is so much to do in Asakusa and this hotel is right in the heart of it. Friendly staff. Clean hotel and rooms. The free breakfast got a little repetitive after a few days but it’s always nice to get some coffee and toast or something for free each morning.

We knew the rooms would be cramped so I’m not going to complain about that. As expected. However, I would say that I would not choose the Sky Tree view over the very slightly larger room. We had one of each and the view was cool for one night but the extra room was more worth it. Additionally, our room on the view side would not cool off. I had the unit turned all the way down but that didn’t work. Their only solution was to open the window which opens an inch or two. It did eventually cool the room down to sleeping temps but then you had to deal with the noise at night and the crows in the morning. I love you, crows, but I don’t want to listen to you at 6:30 every morning. Pick the larger room.
