The staff was friendly and helpful- they were able to make adjustments to my booking when needed without any hassles. The facilities were clean and they provided everything you’d need except for towels which were only 200yen to rent. The beds felt private and comfortable. Otherwise, I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again if I were travelling alone in Tokyo :).

The rooms were a bit narrow and the cubbies can only fit maybe a medium sized bag so you’d have to squeeze past people and luggage. It’s a little difficult to climb up the ladder for an upper bunk and I’d imagine someone on the bottom bunk might hear movement from above.

I had a great stay at Imano Tokyo Ginza Hostel! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The entire place was clean and well-maintained, making it very comfortable throughout my stay. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Ginza, with easy access to public transportation. It’s just a short walk to the Yamanote Line and only 10-15 minutes on foot to other major stations, offering convenient connections to explore all of Tokyo. Having 7-Eleven and Lawson stores nearby was also a big plus for late-night snacks or essentials. The room was small, but that’s expected for this price point in Tokyo, so no complaints there—it was still cozy and functional. For what you pay, the value and amenities are excellent! Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, location, and affordability. I’d happily stay again on my next visit!

Location was perfect, almost all of the tourist attractions were within 30min distance by subway. Tokyo station was walkable distance too. The showers had hair dryers and free bodywash, shampoo, etc. The beds were bigger then expected. Overall got a nice place to stay for short traveling!

Rooms could smell bad depending on who you get assigned to the room with. Everything my roommate owned smelled of cigarettes, and that made the room smell a bit bad.

The location of the hostel is near to Tsukiji Market and assessible by train. The community space and public washrooms are clean and spacious. The staffs can converse in English.

The room seems tight for a 3 bunk bed situation as I don't have much locker to store my luggage and could only place in front of my bed. Luckily, I took the bottom one and able to open the luggage easily. The room has a slight musky smell because of the carpet and the heater did not help but retain the musky smell. Punctuality is crazy- I was late for 10 mins for my checkout and the staff came up to my room and warned me about charging extra night cost for late checkout. However, she was understanding enough and gave me extra 5 mins to wrap up my packing.

I was going to give 10 to this but unfortunately I've been told I had breakfast from 7:30-10:30 and because I had to check out that day so I needed to finish packing and showering I went down around 10:08 and the guys just said a bit rude "no more breakfast" and I told him I've been told it was till 10:30 but he just said "there's no more" and everything was packed already. Really disappointed never happened to me. He didn't even offer any other option even though he saw me disappointed and just sat there in front of the "kitche"

Friendly staff and accommodation was in a central location with easy access to several metro lines. As expected in Tokyo, the room was very small but because the bathroom was more spacious this wasn't a problem as one person could get ready in the bathroom while the other sorted out their stuff. The room was clean and well maintained. Great value for money.

Given the size of the room, there could've been more hangers and shelves on the wall as there was plenty of free wall space. would've helped with organising as its nearly impossible to open a big suitcase.

The cleanliness of the hostel

I regret to say that my stay at the hostel was unfortunately impacted by an unpleasant experience during check-in. While the staff were generally friendly and helpful, one of them had a strong underarm odor that made the check-in process uncomfortable and, honestly, affected my overall stay. I understand that personal hygiene can be a sensitive issue, but it really did disrupt my experience. I hope the management can address this, as it would make a significant difference for future guests.

We booked the private room and it was quite good and clean. We struggled bit to lay two big suitcases on the floor, but we managed. The amenities are quite good. Oven, water and basic utensils. We bought the SIM card from the reception, and it was cheaper than airport one but costlier than grocery store one. the staffs are friendly and fluent in English. Some very good bakery and eateries are nearby. Bit closer to Fish market and we walked to the market easily.

The location is bit inside and have to carry luggage longer distance when we came from airport and when we need to take Shinkansen. The check-in time is 4PM, but it is common in all places. Atleast they should keep t as 2 or 3PM.

I picked this location since it was close to Hatchobori Station and made getting to Disney early in the morning more convenient. Check in was very smooth and I was able to send my luggage directly to the hostel in advance. They have a nice little bar area on the second floor which was the perfect place for me to wait for my laundry for finish at the nearby coin laundry facilities.

It would have been good for the rooms to have a little bit more space for large suitcases at one end of the room (the individual cubby spaces did not fit a large suitcase and I did not want to block the door with my case so I put it on the end of my bed)

The location is great. About 1km walking distance to Ginza shopping street and 10 mins to Takacho Metro Station if you need to go to Narita Airport (no need to change train). The bed is comfortable and the toilets/shower are cleaned. The toilets and shower room are available on the female floor that I stayed which is very convenient. I really like the bed curtain, despite the dorm hall is light up, my bed cubicle has min light affected and I can sleep well.

I need to put on myself the bed sheet. The rest is all good.
