The large size room and bathroom were well worth the price to ensure a comfortable stay.

The "station-side" room didn't mean a view of the station. It meant the bedroom was closest to the hallway and bathroom was on exterior side of hotel. We had frosted glass windows in the toilet and bathroom, so no view but plenty of light. To block out the early sunrise you need to close the blind over the bathroom window in the bedroom and shut sliding door for the toilet.

The hotel was very convenient for traveling around Tokyo. Being located next to the Akihabara station makes it easy after a long day of walking around and seeing sites.

The train station side doesn’t offer a view and it’s all fogged glass. Which I already knew when booking but it did feel a little claustrophobic at times since I was unable to open a window.

The hotel is very conveniently next to a big subway station that allows easy accessibility to anywhere. The hotel is pretty new however the size of the room was challenging for 2 people, there was not enough counter space to put anything on nor enough floor space to open your luggage. Although the bathroom and shower were a decent size. I appreciated that the hotel had washing machine services but they were always occupied and because the hotel does not remove unattended clothes, hotel guests often left their clothes in washing machines and inconvenienced us. There is a restaurant called Jonathan's attached to hotel and it has great breakfast buffet (no need to buy buffet pass at hotel, it's same price if you pay directly at restaurant)

For the price and quality of the hotel, I'd expect the staff to speak basic English, instead we had to communicate via their tablets. The check in and out process is a little annoying on their virtual machines as it was giving us error messages. The hotel should change the time permitted to keep clothing in the washing machine to less than 10 minutes and not 30minutes, many guests took advantage of this and left their clothes in the washer even though there was a long queue to use it. There are also only 3 washers that also dry in the same machine, however barely dry - we had to finish drying in our hotel room.

The staff was very helpful, we had 3 rooms and were able to have them close together, and the rooms were clean. Really like the foaming soap in the bathrooms (we do not like bar soap). Also the dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were excellent. The extra dyson fan was great, very nice to have in the room. Super convenient to be next to the train station.

There were no drawers to put our clothes, only a few hangars on a clothes rack. Would be nice to have a few drawers, for example a nightstand could fit between the beds. Also the beds were not that comfortable (especially compared to the beds we just stayed at Hotel Vischio by Granvia in Kyoto were much more comfortable).

The best location right next to Akihabara Station. The room has enough space and just like a modern Japanese studio apartment. While the room says “separated bathroom and shower” may sounds misleading, the room does include one toilet and one bathroom. They are just individually separated and which is a common modern Japanese residential layout. The lobby is on the 2nd floor, and it has access to the Jonathan’s family restaurant next door, which opens until 3am! In conclusion, the hotel is very convenient and modern and worth the price!

The bathroom uses a lot of space. For me it may be an overkill but it is perfect for people who enjoy taking a shower outside the bathtub then soak in the bathtub to relax. The wall of the toilet has minor stains and the design of the wall (textured and with some shiny flakes) makes it difficult to be cleaned and to be noticed. Otherwise, no complaints!

Great hotel, literally seconds away from Akihabara station. Room was spacious with FANTASTIC views (as seen in photo - that was the view from my room) into Akihabara. I stayed with my Son and we had two single beds and there was more than enough room for two suitcases, and loads of merchandise which we'd collected over the course of our two week trip. Airconditioning in the room was brilliant - took the room temp down to a frosty 17c when it was 35c ++ outside! Free tea & coffee facilities in the lounge. Washing machines and dryers on the third floor (SUICA card or cash. 400 Yen for washing which includes liquid cleaner and 100 Yen per 30 mins for the drier). Convenient for Henada airport too; 3 stops on the "green line" then onto the monorail. Took about 50 mins in total. Will certainly stay there again if I'm lucky enough to visit Japan again.

Nothing - the hotel is spot on

Check-in was streamlined and fairly simple. The check in is no-contact and a clerk will do a live call from a screen in from of you. For foreigners, after providing/scanning hotel passports, they'll confirm your period of stay, go over the provided amenities, and then print out your room key cards and room number on a separate receipt. The room was very spacious and the TV was displaying I all the information needed for hotel and beyond. The information was super useful for foreign visitors. The bathroom was also very clean and the bath itself was well made. Despite being in the middle of the city, it was a really quiet and enjoyable stay. Location was supremely good with how close the station was, convenience store right next to floor one elevator, Johnny's next to the hotel on floor two, and being literally at the heart of Akihabara. You will enjoy Akihabara and Tokyo overall staying here.

The room cleaning is everyday which we did not know and it will actively keep you from getting to your room midday. If there was an option to avoid cleaning during our stay, the info was not easily provided. No signs for the door to avoid interuption which led to an awkward meeting with cleaning staff coming into our room while occupied. This was not a major issue and we did appreciate the room cleaning. If you don't know Japanese, the live view with the clerk can be complicated. However, the check-in/out display screen has multiple languages available. So, this issue is very minor.

Fantastic location located right at the exit of Akihabara’s Electric Town South Exit. Steps away from the mecca of anime and electronics. NewsDay is on 1F, with Famima, Lawson, 7-11 all within walking distance. Separate washing area and bathtub is thoughtful.

Lack of drop-off area may be inconvenient for travellers traveling by car or taxi. Entrance/exit to the hotel is rather narrow and easily missed as it is surrounded by NewsDay and the train station. Layout of rooms is odd, with some rooms’ bathroom windows overlooking at train platform and tracks.

Hotel staff are really polite and helpful. The room that I had is clean and spacious by Tokyo standard. The location is good. The location is good. The location is good. ... Need I say more?

There are only 3 overworked washing machines which are forever in-used. Not a biggie for a short trip, if you plan to stay longer, bring along your closet. please. If it is not included, don't waste money on the Hotel breakfast. It is the same spread everyday. In case you missed it, the breakfast buffet ends at 9:30am!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Akihabara Station. We arrived prior to 3 pm and were able to quickly check in via the kiosk in the lobby. I had luggage shipped from my previous hotel in Shinjuku (while I went to Kyoto) and was able to retrieve my suitcases upon arrival. I was weary that the busy location would be reflected in my room, however, there wasn't any noise coming from the trains or the busy street below. My room was small but clean and had all the amenities I needed to be able to shower and sleep the night before departing for Haneda. Would recommend and definitely return if staying in Akiba.
