The hotel is very convenient to catching trains to anywhere in Japan. The hotel is connected to JR station for Jr line such as the Yamanote line which takes you to harajuku, shinjuku, Ueno park. The NEX narita express drops you off right below hotel and can also take you back to Narita airport. Hotel is walkable to other train lines such as Ginza and Tokyo Metro. The area of the hotel is on the quiet side Shibuya area by Shibuya river with convenient to various food places, Lawson for water/supplies/ umbrella, and walkable distance to Shibuya crossing and Shibuya scramble square. The room size is not bad for Tokyo size. Breakfast available at the restaurant of the hotel and option for hotel booking to add breakfast. The breakfast has a variety but mainly Japanese dishes. There was French toast, egg, and croissant for traditional western breakfast. The hotel has amenities refill station on the main lobby floor which is on the 4th floor. Price was affordable for Shibuya location!!!

Booked this place as my sister has a disability and we needed convenient access to the station. It's quite literally attached to the station (New South Gate exit) so commute and travelling was a breeze! Surprisingly quiet and never failed to have a good night's rest despite it's location so that's a massive bonus. Rooms were very well kept - tidied and clean daily despite our long stay. Bathroom was very clean, towels and amenities were replaced daily. Lawson's is just across the road for all your konbini runs, plenty of local and great chain restaurants around the corner. Shibuya Scramble is only a few minutes walk away. Self check-in and check-out was straight forward and efficient. Staff were super accommodating and happy to hold onto our luggage on day of check out (flight was in the evening).

Quite small but this appears to be standard in Tokyo

I really loved the location. If you are coming from narita airport, you can take the narita express to the Shibuya station and you are dropped off right at the station. Took us like 5mins to walk out the station and into the elevator for check in. The room is an ok size. We had two big luggage's, 2 backpacks and a carry one and we were able to fit them in the nooks and crannies of the room so it didn't take up space. We also had a trip in the middle to Osaka and they were nice enough to hold our luggage instead of paying for a train station locker room. On our first room we had it on the 5th floor and surprisingly we never heard a train at night or in the early morning while sleeping. In our second room we could but very faintly. The location allowed us to get any train to anywhere even to our small trip to Yokohama via train. It has a Lawson, McDonalds and 2 coffee shops right out by the street which was great for late night snacks or a quick breakfast in the morning. If you walk down the street it is also the Shibuya Scramble and has so many restaurants and a mall with access to even more subway, buses and other connections

- Location is very close to Shibuya central area and transportation - Microwave and Laundry room - Mini market and restaurants are in front of the hotel - JR line gate is in front of the hotel entrance, very helpful when you arrive from the airport and take the NEX train, find the Hotel sign there or New South Gate exit - From Shibuya station subway, take exit C2 to Shibuya Stream - They provide delivery service for our luggages to be sent to our next hotel in Osaka

With the large luggage, it will need a bigger space, however everything's okay

I super duper loved the fact that the property was the New South Exit of Shibuya Station. For travelers, that means you can take the Narita Express train to and from Narita airport with one ride in just under an hour. The hotel literally sits on top of the train station’s exit AND no train noise at all. The property also has a medical clinic!

There was nothing I didn’t like — and I’m a picky princess type of person. I liked everything about JR Mets Hotel.

Conveniently located in Shibuya district just minutes away by foot to Shibuya Crossing.You can take the Narita Express from the airport right under the hotel for about ¥3,000 and a 1hr 15min ride.

The rooms are nice and clean however the rooms are a bit small if you're traveling with a companion. The pillows were nice but the bed not the most comfortable.

Super central location with easy access to Shibuya JR station! Very little hassle to go into the station with heavy luggages as well, there’s an entrance specifically for this hotel so it’s very seamless. Lots of amenities available in the lobby, hotel was clean and more spacious than I anticipated and overall it felt very safe. Close walk to Shibuya crossing as well, but the noise doesn’t travel to the hotel so a good sleep is guaranteed ☺️

Lighting wasn’t amazing (It was a little dark when getting ready even mid-morning). A bit of a hit or miss with receptionists speaking english - all are absolutely kind and helpful but it was sometimes difficult to converse when we were trying to figure out a way to get to the airport (it wasn’t clear we could just go straight into the station and walk in across the platform with no hassle to take a bullet train, we found out the hard way 😭)

Best location!!!! You can direct to platfrom 4 and 5 to shibuya station, and and opposite hotel there are 2 halal food for moslem tourist this property very recommended!

Hopefully they provide halal food on breakfast!

Fabulous location for everything you need, including station transport, yet very quiet. Do not let the “station” reference put you off. It’s really quite a lovely setup.Staff absolutely outstanding, could not fault them at all. Really. Rooms are well appointed and clean, staff housekeeping are lovely and efficient. Reception staff are very helpful.

Coffee machine is awful, as an Australian who takes their coffee very seriously, most of the coffee in Tokyo is awful from our experience, unless you go to Dean and Deluca or yes, I’ll say it, Starbucks. Both are located in Shibuya stream which basically is a very short walk out of the hotel and undercover, in minutes.

I did not utilize the breakfast offerings at this hotel.

Would have liked having body lotion in the bathroom.
