Location

There are a few female staff members who come across as very authoritative, not pleasant, and somewhat rude. They are not Japanese; they are Southeast Asian, and one of them—I’m not sure where she’s from—I am uncertain if she is the manager. Regardless, the ladies I encountered made me feel intimidated, unfriendly, unwelcome, and somewhat rude. I have noted the dates and times they were on duty and the unpleasant encounters I had. Because of this, I’ve decided that the next time I visit Japan, I will not stay at this hotel again. Eiøl not recommend this to people I know. It’s a shame because the location is excellent.

The property was extremely clean and everything was easy to find/use. A great bargain for what I paid for per night.

The WiFi wasn’t the greatest. But that’s to be expected from having so many guest on a single network. One of the girls at the front desk was a little rude at times, I’m a pretty low maintenance person. I never ask for anything, I tried to manage on my own. Hell I was on a solo trip to Japan. She seemed pretty annoyed with tourist in general but what are you going to do ? All the other girls were fine, just a little disappointing because good hospitality goes a long ways. I should know, I’ve been a chef for many years.

Staff is great, very respectful, helpful and professional, all of them, on the reception and cleaning services. Its on good location, easy walk to Kabukicho, short walk to JR station. Its surrounded with lots of Korean restaurants, as well Nepali, Vietnam restaurants and food shops, next to Greek yogurt place, 7eleven, and other store you might need. Common room is nice big with coffee machine, tea and drinking water for free, working space. While check in you get locker key, door card, slippers, pajamas, towel, earplugs, locker and sleeping cabin. WiFi is great, showers perfect with shampoos, toilets always clean and they have Laundry room.

It is not I didn't like. Its more not convenient using elevator for shower and elevator for toilet. Toilets, sleeping cabins, locker, are on 4th floor, showers and towels on 7th floor, reception on 8th floor. 2 lifts. Its ok. 50 cabins in one room. I spend 6 nights, from 16-22 Jan. Price constantly change, as I booked 3 times for 2 nights-73€, 2 night-96€, 2 nights-60€. Every time different price with huge amount gap. Washing machine is good and simple to use, but be careful with drying. I spend 1h, and 3 times (300yen), tried to dry clothes less than 3kg, and still it was not dry. I went to reception and explained to staff that I need dry clothes till 8am. They were super helpful and nice and all clothes was dry till 8am. Thank you.

Near side have some Bangladeshi restaurants and BD shops. Also near side have two metro station.

Only two toilets have for more than fifty person the forth floor. I think should added more toilet this floor.

Cheap, good location and friendly English speaking staff. Shared seating area was large and convenient, with lots of amenities you’d expect in a capsule hotel. Pods weren’t excessively hot too, as is common at capsule hotels

Lots of mold in the bathroom, which is easy to get rid of with a bit of cleaning. Also saw a roach in the commons area, 2 times, which clearly indicates that there were multiple bugs most likely. Looked clean, and there wasn’t food sitting out or anything, so I think the hotel needs to spray for bugs or put out traps or something of the sort. Lastly a slightly weird smell when entering the sleeping area on the 3rd floor.

Excellent location and great value for money. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

It’s a shame you have to pay to sit in the cafe. A communal area would’ve been nice.

Really clean and the pods were super cosy. Everyone seem to follow the rules to an extent and remained respectful. Showers were clean and pyjamas were also given. Perfect location next to the station and easy access to shinjuku

The pillows were like rocks, really really hard. I would have preferred a soft pillow. The dressing rooms got very busy at one point so there wasn’t always space to shower. Small gaps between the lockers and walls so was difficult to get things out of my case. We weren’t allowed to stay seated in the lobby after checking out, for half hour, which I thought was strange, as we were only wanting to wait for our train.

Temperature of the cabin room was hot, can’t sleep. We were perspiring considering it was cold season. We went down to the reception area twice to request them to adjust the temperature to more cooler and comfortable level. The air conditioning should be on at all times before guests arrival. Majority of the guest wants to rest upon checking in.

Beds were comfortable, it was clean, location is great. Free coffee and juice available.

I was surprised that you didn't need a key to get into the female dorm. Door was always open. This should be fixed as soon as possible. Basically anyone can come to the hostel by just taking an elevator to the reception, and then changing to female only elevator and going to female floor,, no proof needed.

I liked the organisation of the different floors and I loved the sleeping pods. We all slept very well

Nowhere in the pod to charge phones etc Although this is not that big of a deal, my phone is my alarm and I was very low on charge so hard to relax when I was worrying about sleeping in
