Great location, 1 minute walk from JR Station Shin-Okubo, good connected to most tourist destinations, and very close to Shinjuku. The Staff was very friendly and told me about the Fireworks Festivals that would take place that evening, thank you very much for that. The room was bigger than I expected and clean. The fact that the shower and the toilet were separated was a plus.

The walls are very, very thin and in the morning I could hear every step the people in the room above mine were taking. Also, I was a bit irritated about the fact that I payed twice the rate that was stated on the door for one night, but I guess that I have only myself to blame for that.

Great location with easy access to the trains and metro. The 7-11 next door is super handy! Nice to have a separate shower and toilet. Great air con and mini fridge to store water etc. We were able to check in before the check in time as our room was ready, which was fab. We left our bags for a little while upon check out which was also great. Staff were all friendly! We had read the previous comments and were therefore aware if having to leave out room key every time we left so this didn't bother us.

We had room 101 which is on the ground floor right next to the stairs. This meant we had quite a bit of disturbed sleep as there was no elevator/lift and a lot of stomping going on. It's not the hotel's fault (at all!) but something to be aware of.

Location was great, within 15mins walk from Shinjuku train station, there was another train station near the hotel "shin-okubo" we ended up using this one, hotel is a 30sec walk from the main street so there was no noise. The main street had countless dining options with Don Quijote store nearby along with many other stores. Great place to stay if you are looking for a good vibe and after 11pm it sort of slows down and gets quiet. Highly recommended for couples and solo travelers but maybe not suitable for family with children depends on their respective perception.

The hotel did not have lifts so if you are carrying luggage and get a room on the 1st floor, it can be quiet challenging.

Excellent location ! Great room, spacious with all the amenities you might need, a mini fridge too. Theres a microwave in the hall to used too. Ni cleaning during your stay but jf you need it you just need to ask in the front desk. Super friendly staff. Location 10/10 in the middle of everything. You have shop, you have supermarkets, restaurants you have a donki and kombinies around. You have everything you need. The station and the yamanote line are super close so mover around tokyo was the easiest.

Sadly, the walls are really thin, so you can hear a lot of the noises from the room above and next to you, especially when they open and close the doors. Nothing that can be fixed, but there should be maybe a sign inside the rooms to warn the guest about their noises, or to be careful about closing doors and about not using shoes inside the room even though the slippers were sign it self of it. The beds was a bit hard but help me getting ready for the tatami at my next accommodation 🤭

Location was great, bathroom was amazing with shower & bath combination, separate toilet and sink area, spacious room that can fit two large luggages. Separate beds were comfy for staying with family. Saw lots of reviews that the walls are 'thin', but I did not experience that issue. Had good sleep at night without any disruptions. Would stay here again if staying in Toyko area, and Shin Okubo area is Korea town.

Great location - very central, close to subway, shops, restaurants and bars and and places we wanted to visit. Staff were friendly and spoke English. There wasn’t a lift so wouldn’t be suitable for someone with mobility problems. We found the room a little stuffy on the first night but turns out we weren’t using the A/c properly so make sure you check with staff about how to use the controls! Would definitely stay there again when visiting Tokyo.

location was perfect for the yamanote line. a few steps from the train station. lots of restaurants, convenience stores and don quijote nearby. walkable to shinjuku. elevator location is just right at the entrance of shin okubo stn. clean and spacious room, bed was perfect for a tired body. i love that the bath tub, sink and toilet are separate. complete toiletries. staff are friendly and helpful. cleaners really do their job.

Perfect location for first time in Tokyo - just 2 minutes walk from shin-okubo station providing convenient transportation to all parts of Tokyo and only ten minutes walk from Shinjuku (if you want to return after the last train). Room was clean and had everything we needed. Biggest room we had in Japan for that price. Sports center is close with cheap one day pass options.

The rooms had everything you needed and were clean. The staff were very nice, and the location was great, as it was close to many Korean food stores. also close to a very good train station.

The beds were quite hard, but they weren't the worst. Our room didn't have a window, but if you're in Japan, you shouldn't be spending too much time in your room except for sleeping, so it was okay.

Location was great as it was within 4mins of train station and situated around bustling KoreanTown area with lots of food resto, stores, etc. Hotel was neat and tidy and was kept up clean with daily cleaners. Staff at front office was great to deal with.

Small rooms but it is not a deterrent to come back and book again. It is just right for the value.
