Our rooms were ready when we arrived, so the hotel let us check in ahead of time. Thank you Best Hotel.The room was basic, it had a mini fridge and kettle, a bit small but clean. There is a microwave in the common area to heat up food which is convenient. Staff was friendly and tried their best to help you with inquiries or directions . Walking distance to trains so we did not hv to travel far with our luggage. Restaurants a few doors away if u are fussed about food. I recommend this hotel if you are travelling on a budget.

Great value for money considering the convenient location near Shin Okubo Station on the Yamanote Line, just 1 stop from Shinjuku (or can walk to Shinjuku in about 20 min or so). Many Korean restaurants and bars nearby, as well as convenience stores. Quadruple room was comfortable, and bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

Very minor issues, but most of the food in the area is Korean, so might need to travel out a bit further if you want alternatives. Though this is in Koreatown, so to be expected.

A well located no-nonsense hotel. Not far from train station Shin-Obuku, express bus to Narita and Haneda airports, shopping and restaurants. This hotel is located in Korean Town of Tokyo with lots of Korean restaurants, K-pop bars and shops. Staff was very helpful and kind which we very much appreciated! Rooms and bathrooms were of good size relative to what you find in most hotels in Japan (even the more expensive ones). Clean and simple facilities that offered a simply furnished lobby (couch), lobby toilet, and microwaves. Quality of clientele was good that made hotel atmosphere safe and quiet.

Nothing really. It would have been nice to have an option for breakfast. I was surprised though with the price as I thought booking.com quoted a different and cheaper price, so my advice is double check. But that was not really the hotel's fault.

The location is great! Just 6 min walk with no uphill to Shin-Okubo station, which is a great line to go almost everywhere and surrounded by plenty of restaurants (mostly Korean). The room was spacious enough, with separate bathroom, toilet and washing sink. We have quite space for luggage. The lovely staffs helped with luggage storage and travel advices. Thank you very much!

We were only there for sleep and bath so nothing to dislike. Another rack/hook to hang towels would be a bonus though.

Good location, near to Shin-Okubo station on the yamanote line and close to many convenience stores and restaurants (there is a 24-hr yoshinoya just opposite the station). We liked the constant hot water and strong water pressure from the showers which really feels good after a long day out. Air-conditioning is also pretty good, makes the room cold or warm enough whichever needed. Daily fresh towels and basic necessities like soap, shampoo, toothbrush, razor and combs provided. The 24-hour front desk is a bonus as it kinda makes me feel more secured always having somebody at the reception. Nice and helpful staff, a bit of language barrier but nothing google translate can't help. Wifi signal was intermittent but good enough. Stayed there for 8 nights and we would recommend this place as value for money that fulfils most basic needs.

Our room had a strong odour at night from the korean restaurant downstairs, but but the staff were very nice to accommodate our request for a change of room. Cleanliness standard overall still acceptable, but do not expect much. The bed was made up everyday, but we noticed the sheets were not changed daily. The room is not cleaned daily either as the same trash was lying in the same corner of the room for a few days. I also accidentally dropped something that rolled beneath the bed and when we moved the bed, there were loads of rubbish below the bed, which they should really clean after every guest checks out. The hairdryer was a bit disgusting as it had tons of dirt on the grill. They do not provide drinking water.

Cleanliness was immaculate. Staff was what was expected of Japanese people.- courtesy at its best. The location was fantastic close to the subway and walkable to Shinjuku the hub. Room was big in terms of Tokyo hotel rooms

There was plenty of room for a closet which wasn't there. Secondly, I would have loved to have some coffee pouches and more tea pouches

While the hotel isn’t luxurious, it is clean and quiet, thanks to its narrow street with minimal traffic. The staff is very friendly. We had one large suitcase and two day backpacks, and the room was spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom was spotless. The location is great, with vibrant nightlife nearby, and we experienced no noise or disturbances from other guests, allowing us to rest well. Having a toaster and microwave in the common area was a nice bonus.

Just a bit old

Really neat and cool place. For the price, you have everything you need for a short holiday. Separate shower with nice shampoo and body wash and toilet and they clean the room daily. There is a kettle and tea provided. Mostly Korean food around but we managed to find some good Japanese restaurants, one even open 24/7. Just nearby there is a 7-11.

The towels are pretty small.

Loved location, just 10min walk from main Shinjuku area and the most value for money option we could find. Also super spacious relative to other Tokyo accom. Bath was biggest we’d seen in all of our Japan lodgings. We also had an option for late checkout which was hugely appreciated.

Leaving key at hotel while out was an unusual policy, so we had to carry our valuables which we normally would just keep in a safe. Also, not a big deal, but lodging was opposite what seemed to be a cemetery which was not ideal!

The location of the hotel is good, it is in a Korean neighbourhood, got plenty of food options around, we even tried a massage place nearby. The location is near to two subway line one is yamanote line shin okubo station. The hotel is clean cause they clean up everyday during the 4 nights stay, changing towel everyday. The hotel provided microwave in the lobby can heat up food if needed. The bathroom has a bathtub and provided with shampoo and body shower gel. There is a Don Quitje nearby perfect for souvenir shopping.

The hotel provided simple amenities but good enough for the price paid.
