Convenient and quiet location, <10mins to Shinjuku by train or a 35min walk if you’re up for it, with lots of restaurants and konbini/supermarkets around. Breakfast was much better than expected from other reviews - multiple bread options for toast, jams and cheese available, can choose to add a boiled egg for ¥100, good range of drinks, soup variety changed daily. Also really appreciated that breakfast ran until 11am, as not everyone is an early riser on holiday! Would stay here again.

The interior of the rooms are a little run down and dated but, if you can look past that, the room is perfectly comfortable and clean! Other reviews mention the noisy aircon and pipes - we did encounter this too but it became like white noise after the first night, slept through it with no issues. If you’re a light sleeper though, you might opt to turn the aircon off? Temperature of the room seemed fine without it on.

The room was small and we expected that. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is great so close to Hatagaya train station so brilliant spot. The staff were amazing especially Yoshie who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. All the staff were brilliant. We had dinner in the hotel one night and the food was amazing. Overall we were very pleased we stayed at this hotel.

Breakfast was very simple toast, coffee, soup and that was it. In saying that it was enough to get the day started. There is a fantastic bakery around the corner which we took advantage of every day.

We stayed in the 3 bunk bed room with kitchenette (excluding breakfast). This is a budget friendly hotel that is reflected in the price. Stayed here to be close to a friend that lived nearby. Best part is the fridge has a freezer to keep water and hydrating drinks cold for the next day as we travelled in the summer. We never used the stove or other kitchen appliances. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 as we all got a bed which is a rarity in Tokyo. It was very close to the Hatagaya metro station which easily got you to the key stations (shibuya or Shinjuku). There were a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, bakeries, family mart, and a grocery store within minutes of walking.

) Only downside was that the hotels luggage transfer within Tokyo didn’t have a same day service option. But would stay here again.

Ridiculously friendly staff, even the cleaners. Everyone was lovely. I was able to do the check-in procedure over three hours early and leave my luggage at the front desk, they even gave me the card to my room, just not to enter the room before official check-in (3pm) so cleaning could be done properly, very reasonable. Gave me extra time to explore. Proximity to train station, supermarkets, and some small restaurants nearby is excellent. Shinjuku/Shibuya is just a few minutes away via Hatagaya Station. On my first evening I got to Shibuya Crossing from the hotel in about 20 minutes.

Breakfast was cheap (500 yen) though a little basic. I had a single room and it was quite cosy, even compared to a business hotel - however, it was fairly quiet. Heading back to the hotel from Shinjuku station requires a changeover at Sasazuka Station as Hatagaya is actually on a different line (Keio vs New Keio). This is something I got used to quickly but I did take the wrong train once and ended up back in Shinjuku - you'll want to get to Platform 3.

The hotel is located very conveniently just 2min away from Hatagaya station, which is another two stops away from Shinjuku station. There where convenience stores and restaurants in very close proximity. Also a hairdresser and a dental clinic. The washing machines are convenient to use, and the cafe is accessible 24/7. So you can have a drink with your friends or have a beer while doing some email stuff and waiting for your laundry. Greetings to the awesome Yoshi M. :)

The bathroom was very small, but functional and clean. Shampoo and shower gel where provided. Also a small tooth brush and some paste. The toilet paper was so thin you could literally blow it appart. The view from the window was obstructed by the neighbouring building. Granted, these are both very common scenarios in Tokio, so I´d rate is as minor inconvenience. Nothing toadd too much weight on.

Location was superb, hatagaya is an upper class residential area, lots of parks and green areas and easily connected to major attractions via subway. Near conbini stores and super pleasant to walk around. Also the staff was extremely nice and professional, they sorted bags from tokyo to kyoto and made phone reservations on our behalf

Rooms are SUPER SUPER SMALL, but cheap for Tokyo. Also it was rather noisy at night, I could hear my neighbor snoring like crazy, bring earplugs.

Location is surely a plus. Just two stops from Shinjuku from where you can get anywhere. Super nice neighborhood and many options for eating nearby. The staff is extremely friendly and they all speak English. The general vibe is super chill. Room big enough for what you need. I'll surely recommend this accommodation. Breakfast is simple but it is surely another plus!

If I had to say something, sometimes the water system would make noise for a bit, but nothing too drastic.

I loved how good the staff were and also hatagaya is in just such a perfect location . You can go to the best spots in tokyo from your doorstep and also hatagaya has a very chill vibe to it. Also if your a muslim it has one of tokyos biggest mosques just a 10 minute walk from the hotel .

I didnt like some of the cleanliness. There was alot of mould and also the AC used to spray out water whenever it was on which wasnt nice

The hotel is a really good base to stay in Tokyo and just a couple of stops from Shinjuku station. Rooms are reasonably priced and recommend for those who don't want to spend too much on a hotel. My room had a great view of the city. The rooms are small (as are most hotels in Japan) and quite basic but clean. The staff are friendly and reception open 24 hours, we were able to leave our luggage before check-in which was helpful. If you don't want to go far, there is an excellent ramen bar just a couple of places down on the same side of the road plus plenty of other shops and places to eat and drink. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, with a global range of beers from some exotic places.

Single room was great - it had all the necessities needed for one person to be comfortable. Having breakfast was pretty good too - they start pretty early which is great since I am out before sunrise. Location is great near Shinjuku so going to Kawaguchiko via the bus from the hotel was pretty easy without costing too much. Also got a familymart nearby which is pretty convenient.

Breakfast was a bit lacking with toast, jam and butter and orange juice only (Boiled eggs were charged at a 100 yen. Which is some variety).
