Location was perfect for me. I landed at Narita airport and took the Narita Express to Shibuya station. The prefecture was where I wanted to explore and Millennials was centrally located for me to do this. Breakfast was very good; simple and tasty.
Elevator is too small for moving the amount of guests that stay at Millennials. Waiting for the elevator was an exercise in patience. Guests should have access to the stairwell if they want to move a bit more freely and get a little exercise at the same time. The placards on the stairwell doors showed it to be for use in emergency situations only.

The facility is a short few blocks from Shibuya station. Convenience store, post office, coffee shops, specialty stores, and restaurants are within a short distance. Staff and clientele are generally youngish (thus Milennials), very helpful, effective and efficient. Staff maintains the sleek and modern pod hotel well and thoroughly. Management resolved an issue for me without hesitation. The automated toilets are next level. Breakfast is adequate but without much variety. Eggs are prepared to guest preference. Kitchen facilities are fully equipped with the expectation that guests help maintain its cleanliness. The beer hour is great after a day's activities and a means to get acquainted with fellow travelers.

This is a unique concept - a cross between capsules/pods and hostel. We stayed for a longer period (8 nights) and grew to love this more and more. Honestly, we changed our original booking in Kyoto and are now staying at the Millenials there too! This Tokyo branch however is special - the smaller capacity gave it a real family feel, and we miss it!! Overall its perfect for single travellers or group of friends - has everything you need and a great location.
The price is actually quite high per night (especially now we have seen the Kyoto branch). A wider selection of offerings for non-drinkers. Breakfast could have more options for vegetarians or Muslims. Better soundproofing of the pods.

Upscale capsule hotel in a great central area of Shibuya. Super modern with a hostel like atmosphere, clearly catering to a young working professional crowd. Bathroom and shower facilities were great. Free coffee for guests. I booked here because I needed an overnight coworking space and the 3rd floor was excellent for that. There's two call rooms you can book for meetings on top of the shared space.
Bed wasn't super comfy and capsule room was more cramped than I expected. Bit expensive for a capsule but I guess you're paying for the location and quality of the hotel/access to coworking in that regard.

I loved everything about the hostel, didn't expect so much social life to go on. The free beer 5.30-6.30 PM every day is a great ice-breaker and to be honest, made us pass the day at the hostel rather than going out. Met some nice people with crazy energy, slept well, felt safe and secure, had the cleanest bathrooms of all Tokyo! The location is great if you love the crowded 24h of Shibuya life. Can go to the clubs easy. Shinjuku is also not so far, to kickstart a Tokyo stay is great, but for a quieter traditional japan getaway it's not for you (or do like me, change the hostel, you get to keep the friends:).
The moving bed and the curtains have very tight place, felt like stuck some time to time and it was impossible to open the curtains bed flat. My bed was next to the cleaning supply room, so if I was there on cleaning time, felt a bit unease by the passage. The lights on the common room are so brigh, may dim them after some hour:). Other than that great experience.

The location was great! Right by the Parco building and about two blocks from Shibuya Scramble. The security in this hostel is also great! The elevators are restricted by your keycard to the floor you are on, and the staff ensure that bringing outside people to your room is not allowed. I stayed on a mixed floor, but everyone is very quiet and polite, so no issues being a lady on the floor. The bathrooms are very nice and modern. Spacious where you need it. The rooms are exactly what you would expect and quite comfortable. Expect to hear your neighbors, but earplugs work wonders, and headphones are no issue. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the common room was a good place to chat and snack with other travelers.
Had a minor issue with the wifi connecting to their iPod system to control the beds. No problem at all once brought to the staff's attention. They apologized and provided breakfast as compensation, which was already more than I had expected. No glaring issues though! Just be sure to communicate with the staff! Bit expensive, but probably due to location and security.

I was really impressed with the quality of this place. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and well-attended, and it all really fostered a naturally hip and friendly vibe. The location is great, a short walk from Shibuya Station but far enough from the main Shibuya Crossing chaos. Despite only a handful of showers and toilets on each floor I never had to wait to use either. The whole thing was intelligently designed to be useful and efficient and it was. Perfect for a one-night stay and I would totally stay here again.
The only thing I didn't really like is that it wasn't clear ahead of time that the sleeping space just has a privacy shade you pull down separating your sleeping space from the hallway on the floor, not a door that can lock. Perhaps par for the course for capsule-style accommodations but would be helpful for first-timers especially to have that specifically disclosed.

The location was very central, the floor was quiet and clean. We felt really safe the entire stay, amenities were quite basic but they worked for a short stay. The bed was super comfy, lovely little nook to spend the night in!
We came straight from the airport and were a bit jet lagged which took away a bit from the quality of sleep, and for a light sleeper like myself I do recommend bringing earplugs. You never know who's snoring right next to you ;) I have to say this was our most expensive one night stay, so price was quite high as we were two people. The happy hour is only beer so if you're not a beer drinker its on your own expense.

When you hear capsule hotel, you might think a hostel-like stay. The Millennials Shibuya is quite different...I felt like it was a luxury capsule experience. I stayed on a women's only floor and to my surprise, the showers and bathrooms were always available. The beds are comfortable and the alarm system is quite pleasant...bed rises and lights turn on..and if you try to snooze it'll continue to rise! I loved that. The location is 100/10.
Side note: There is a pull out space under the bed for your luggage. This is another reason why I chose this capsule hotel, but it didn't work for me. If you have a Large AWAY suitcase it won't fit. It wasn't too much of an issue though because it'll fit sideways on the floor when the bed rises.

The Millennials Shibuya delivered a near-perfect capsule hotel experience. The space felt modern, well-designed, and genuinely comfortable - from the high-tech beds to the common areas. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and even during a short one-night stay, I ended up meeting a few great people and having a fun dinner out at a nearby izakaya (another highlight). It struck the perfect balance between privacy and social atmosphere - something many other shared hotels aim for but don’t quite achieve. If you're looking for a stylish, central, and sociable stay in Tokyo, this is a great pick. I’d gladly return.
