The staff was very nice and friendly. Everyone was dressed in their respective uniforms and they were very formal in their appearance. A few had a little trouble communicating in English, but they tried and eventually were understood. The heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The rooms and facilities are very clean. Very close to Tokyo Tower.

The rooms are in need of a makeover as they are a bit outdated. The bed was rather hard, but acceptable. The lighting, as in most hotels, was poor. The restaurants were over priced and not open every day. I would have liked a microwave in my room as opposed to a common microwave in the floor lobby near the elevator. All of the bellboys are actually women. I have no trouble with that concept, but they struggled with the weight of several pieces of my luggage.

Nice room in a vintage luxury hotel. The view on tokyo tower is wonderful. So romantic.

The lady at the front desk for check in was not nice and send us to the rooftop bar of the other prince hotel while the bar has been closed for few months already.

The overall experience was pleasant — the location is convenient, away from the crowds and with a great view of the Tokyo Tower (although our room was facing the parking lot unfortunately) and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a king size bed. There is a convenience store on site, and a bunch of restaurants - the food at the Yakiniku Champion restaurant was amazing.

While the staff on the first floor/reception went above and beyond, the staff at the restaurant on the 3rd floor seemed to have a bit of a condescending attitude, which took away from the otherwise welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. A little more warmth in their service would have made a big difference. The rooms, while spacious and comfortable, are slightly outdated and don't have temperature control, even though there is a thermostat, they can only be heated, not cooled. Luckily the staff gave us a portable air conditioner which made the room a lot more pleasant.

Location, location, location. Close to several attractions, close to subways, good clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. This was one of the most elaborate buffets we saw during our trip which also had the best description of the ingredients used in the food (we are vegetarians, so this is very important). taxi available at the front door and the Airport Limo bus comes to this hotel. The view of the Tokyo tower from the high floor room was a real treat

We were part of Gate 1 tour which gave us their standard room for 3 nights and we had booked high floor room for our additional stay. I wanted the hotel to quote us the upgrade cost to continue staying in the high floor room for additional days but they dragged their feet. The standard room was acceptable but the upgrade would have been fantastic. Another hotel had no trouble doing this for us

The rooms are very large in comparison to the smaller spaces commonly available in Tokyo. The rooms on the 11th floor where we stayed for a week, were very clean and modern. There is a convenient store on the first basement floor. The large pool was a plus given the heat in summer. The personnel were very professional and helpful. The location was superb; few minutes walk to the nearest train station. Shops and restaurants located a 10/15 minute walk.

Some common areas needed updating. The carpets in common areas on the ground floor and first basement needed a good vacuuming and an update.

Good location. Rooms are decorated as in the photos. We did not rent room with breakfast and went instead every day to nearby large coffee place Le Pain Quotidien, 30meters away. Excellent service. Lawson shop (like 7-11) in hotel basement At evening, Go to bar 33th floor of Prince Hotel opposite Tokyo tower (5min walk), to enjoy views Tip: if travelling to other cities after Tokyo, book the luggage transfer facility to your next hotel. Book 24h before departure. Cost circa 2000 Yen per luggage. Very efficient service and convenient. It will allow to travel light.

Hotel staff not very fluent in English. Bathroom old and could be refurbished

Excellent location, good breakfast choice, reasonable sized room.

The hotel has a nice outside terrace with a good view of the Tokyo Tower. Despite this being part of the hotel, they charge guests JPY 750 each to access this facility. This is ridiculous. There is a shuttle bus to the Monorail station which connects to Haneda Airport. However, this does not start until just before 8 am which is not very helpful if you have an early flight.

Rooms were a great size for two, location was within close walking range to a variety of great food spots, convenience stores and bus stops/train stations. There was a Lawson convenience store in the basement floor of the hotel so you do not need to leave the hotel to grab a quick snack or drink. Staff were lovely and the many free amenities were spectacular

One of the charging points did not work in our room. Otherwise, no issues at all.

Very friendly staff. We had a direct view of the Tokyo Tower--and of Mt Fuji on our last day. Room was spacious by Japan standards. Subway station was on the corner and it's right next to the Zo-zo-ji Shrine. We got a great price on booking (<$200/night).

Wish we could have had the coffee and water restocked without having linens changed (it was all or nothing). Some people might prefer being closer to a busier area; the carpets rolled up by 9 in this neighborhood.

The location close to Tokyo Tower is gold, as well as the view.

The restaurant staff did not allow us to use terrace because it was lunch time and “restaurant only works for lunch guests”. It’s a ridiculous restriction - why couldn’t we just sit on the terrace that was totally empty? And after lunch there’s a small window before it closes again for dinner… This spoiled the whole experience since it was one of the selling points of this hotel for me.
