Universal Haneda was in a great location in residential City and felt warm and welcoming after a long day of exploring Tokyo and surrounds. Staff were welcoming and more than happy to assist when necessary. Easy access to family mart, 7eleven, buses and trains. Buses 21 and 11 run both to and from Haneda airport on the main road across from Family Mart. Bus 36 takes you to the closest train station Otori Station..

Cheap, but for a reason (quite far from central location). Clean / cozy enough. There's a convenience store right across the street. Seems quiet, but we got the top floor, so no idea about the lower floor. That is whether you could hear sound from above. Either way, definitely a good place to stay if you want to save some money, but sacrifice time to travel to Tokyo (about 1+ hour to get there, so you're gonna need to allocate about 2 hours to go there and back).

Some of the walls inside have some spots. Quite dirty. But it's cheap, so, you get what you pay for. There's this fan that's actually letting outside air in. During winter time, it might be cold. But you have an AC in the room, so not a big deal. Noise from outside might be a concern.

Everything is good. Super clean, hosts are good, some are having issues with English language. Fortunately, Shirley answered online questions and I got the information what I needed. Location is really good, few meters to the bus stop, 10 minutes to the Otorii local station (can take any bus to the station, just few minutes). Not far from Haneda Airport (route 21 bus straight to the terminals). Bus stop to the apartment is Naka Kojiya , walk towards to the closest Family Mart and turn right anyone could see the apartment. Shops and shopping malls are walking distance.

The cleanliess was something that we loved the most. If you are a passionated with smoking free rooms, this is the place for you. I strongly recommend this hotel in your visit in Haneda. Additionally this hotel is well located nearby to Haneda airport.

The unit we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable! So much thoughtfully designed storage that we could put away our suitcases and pretend that we live here for a while. Appreciate having hangers and towel racks. There is a manual for using the appliances and the reception area has a tremendous amount of resources and maps of the Ota district. So much care and hospitality (much appreciated given how complex the public transit system can be). The surrounding is quiet and peaceful, close to many restaurants, convenience stores, and public transit. They always responded to questions and requests promptly. The front desk personnel was exceptional (I wished I asked him his name!). He explained all the rules carefully, the way to access the units, where we can leave our sorted garbage, do our laundry, and where we can drop off the keys upon check out. He really helped us out on the day of our checkout by calling the taxi service for us (there was heavy rain due to a tropical storm and we couldn't easily reach taxi call centers). Check in was very easy and the staff made us feel welcome. They offered us all the amenities we needed for the kitchen and provided an additional charger for our phones. Gave us directions for the grocery store and the train station. Close to Haneda airport so it was easy/inexpensive to get to via taxi. Would have taken the bus from airport if it weren't raining.

It was our fist hotel stay in Japan. So we weren't really prepared for the smaller size room with very little space to move about between the kitchen and the bed. The mattress was harder than expected. We had better during our two weeks in Japan, but perhaps this is fairly standard. Nearest train station was a bit far to walk to. So we ended up taking a bus just by the hotel to get to another station.

Universal Haneda is conveniently located close to Haneda airport and to the Keikyu Haneda railway line, and to Keikyu Kamata station, with its many connections. There are several convenience stores and supermarkets close by, in addition to some restaurants, providing us with good choices, regardless of whether we wanted to eat out or self cater. The apartment was clean and comfortable, stocked with basic amenities, with additional amenities available onsite at no extra cost. Laundry machines were also available at a very reasonable rate. The apartment provided us with a lot more space than most hotel rooms, at a better nightly rate. The apartment was very clean and secure, the beds comfortable, and shower was nice and warm. The toiletries provided were very nice. All of our interactions with the friendly staff were excellent. We were provided with good, helpful information about the area and about the apartment's amenities. I would choose to stay here again.

Friendly & helpful staff in helping explaining everything, wifi dedicated personally to each room, clean bedroom and it was spacious. Full was full with basic amenities needed. And you got a balcony too. Washing machine was available downstair on 300yen per wash/30 minutes and there was a dryer too as well. Vacuum can be obtain also from the laundry room. Garbage need to be separate into each group as they are supporting the recycling and maintaning the better environment. Family mart was 1 minute away so you could grab your need at your conveniences. Surrounding neighbourhood was peaceful enough although the location located not far from main road. For those whose want to stay in accomodation not far from Haneda Airport, this one is definitely a wise pick. My small family enjoyed our 7 nights stay here.

Booked the room because it said that it had washing machine installed in the room, but, upon arrival it was the shared washing machine at the lobby. Location wide was quite distance (1 km to Keikyu-Kamata/Otori station, 2 KM to nearest JR Kamata station) but solved easily by bus no 36 went to/from along the route to accomodation.

The place is great, and the communication with the host was excellent. We arrived at 2 a.m. and the check-in was smooth even though there was no one to receive us at that time. The next day the host helped us with many things. There are 2 7-Elevens walking distance, one is 3 minutes and the other 8 minutes, there's also a Family mart 2 minutes walking distance. If you want to send your luggage to your next stay, there is a Sagawa (delivery company) 2 minutes walking distance. The metro station is at 12 minutes walking distance. The neighborhood is calm and nice. And the room has everything we needed. Of course it is small, Japanase size, but we were comfortable enough. Definitely we will be back again.

Smooth Checkin by the staff... very courteous. They allowed an early check-in for a nominal fee. Family Mart and Seven Eleven just outside so convenient. Otori Subway station is about 12-15 mins walk only. 15 mins from Haneda airport...though taxis would charge about 2500-3000 for that small ride. Oh and from our room, we could daily see Mt. Fuji in the clear morning hours upto noon... was a fantastic site.

Nothing bad as such, but from Otori Subway you have to reach Shinagawa everytime which takes 15mins walk plus 15 mins ride and then from Shinagawa you have to reach out to specific metro for your different sites. Taxi ride to Shinagawa (to catch bullet train) would cost 4200-5000 Yens so mind that.
