Super Friendly staff inglish speaking, the girl at check-in was super nice and welcoming. The place is clean and in a well located. Common space are good and it also a bar and pub open at 6pm and create nice vibes with locals come to drink something. So if you want you can easily connect with people. At the end that's a the place if you want to chill a little bit outside big city life.

The property and rooms had a very quirky and pleasing design! We really enjoyed the preservation of the original building, but with a modern update. The room was spacious and comfortable for a group of friends, and there were nice common spaces such as the pantry and bar areas downstairs. It was well situated, near to many food options, and was easy to access busses to places of interest. We walked from the Wakayama train station and that was a little far but you could easily take a bus.

One of the best guesthouses i have been to. Clean and warm shared space. Takashi san and the staff are very nice and helpful to recommend the great place nearby(cafe, dining shops and the happiness bath). They have been doing a great job bonding the community. 5 to 10mins walk to wakayama castle, donki and convenient shops. Great event held in the daishin park with sakura! It was great to stay from end Mar to early Apr that you could enjoy the cherry blossom festival(sakura matsuri).

Really comfortable place with friendly staff. Great iced lattes and decent beer too especially for those who like IPA’s!

The only thing to report is our eggs went missing from the shared cupboard.

A cool bohemian vibe , bringing back good memories of great backpacker guesthouses in the past. However, now everything is modermised, with excellent wi-fi, and luxuries like kitchettes and washing machines in rooms. The lovely bar also serves tasty dishes for dinner. The staff were all super friendly and the location perfect, with many eateries nearby.

Loved everything about this place. Really cute and thoughtful design. Even offer hot water bottles to take to bed. Nice little bar downstairs. Super nice hosts. Great little sento nearby. Decent bikes to rent for 500 jpy p/d

They closed for a week to do maintenance. Otherwise, I would have stayed longer

Cool bar on the ground floor, reasonable accommodation upstairs. Centrally located and with good food options nearby. Would recommend to travellers on a budget.

The environment is cozy, clean and comfortable!

We were absolutely satisfied with the rooms, the amenities, and the location. The staff was helpful and friendly. We received great tips on local restaurants and activities in the city, which really enhanced our stay. There’s also a city spa and a laundry just down the street, which was a nice bonus.

Super kindhearted environment where you immediately feel at home and want to stay longer. I started to work in the kitchen and couldn’t leave :) There is a bunch of details that make your day. Quite many interesting events take place & seems to be a place where young talented people meet & the staff is great! Thank you :)
