Located very close to the train station, and amenities. Clean and comfortable. Room was quite spacious. Good shower and air conditioner. There is some noise from passing trains and crossing warnings, however I didn't feel it was an issue and I'm a relatively light sleeper.

Wifi was unreliable.

Great location, walking distance from train station. Had my own bath tub and fridge, though the fridge was luke warm Owner was nice. Cleaned the rooms daily and discretely, providing new towels also.

Pillow was very uncomfortable, I had to put clothes over it to be able to sleep

It's a small ryokan not much to be expected but, on a budget and need a place to rest i'd say worth. Plus it makes you feel like you're staying at home and not a hotel

Probably the worst room I have stayed in in Japan. Not dirty or anything - just a room I wanted to spend as little time in as possible. Very basic bed (new unit bath though)Very very baic.

Contrary to my expectations, there was no breakfast provided, the owner just said a FLAT NO! The room was extremely cold and the heating (a broken Air Conditioner) did not work! There was a complete lack of any kind of information (tourist, or other wise!) The thin veil of glass and blind is no protection from the out side near sub-zero temperatures, or the incessant clatter of trains coasting by on the rain way tracks! Someone tried to enter my room whilst I was in the shower, on my last morning, before check out, but I had the safety latch on. (There was NO KNOCK before hand!!) The toilette in the room was broken and unless you waited for the toilette bowl to fill up, so that you can jimmy rig it to stop, water kept flushing away down the toilette bowl. On a brighter note, the Motel room was a good, spacious size for one person (two people might be a bit cramped!) The Motel is very clean and orderly and in a good location, less than 500mtrs. from Wakayamashi Train Station and plenty of reasonable restaurants nearby! The owner chased after me on his bicycle to return my home keys, which I had dropped.

The room has a kettle, but tea and coffee, etc. is NOT provided. There is a Mini bar fridge, but there is nothing in it! There is also a small T.V. but that did not seem to work! I WAS COLD THE WHOLE TIME OF MY STAY!!!!!!!!
