The location of this property is amazing - up the hill. The property also boasts a great panaromic view of the hills of Petra at the pool side. The elderly gentleman at the reception (forgot his name) really helped us in planning our Petra walk and even arranged a drop off and pick up for us. They have an amazing spread for breakfast. There is a nice park which is 3 mins walk away from the property as well.

We were there during the last days of Ramadan. We asked one of the staffs for some beers at the pool area and he said it will be served only after 7:30 PM. But in another 5 minutes, we saw that alcohol being served to other people who were there by the pool. When we asked about it, the staff replied He is muslim, he cannot serve; which does not make sense. When we asked, he could have just asked one of his other colleagues to serve us. Was he being dumb or was he playing smart thinking we are dumb or was he being racially inclined to europeans -we do not know. In return, he apologised and offered Bedouin Coffee for free for us - which was already free over there. (super dumb)

The small space was not enough for a family with little kids. It was not as clean as expected. There was no air conditioning or fans while the weather was super hot, and when we opened the windows, many flies and insects came inside the house. Curtains are not good and don't eliminate the day and night lights. It was tough to put the kids to sleep with this amount of light coming from outside, where the sunset was around 9:30 pm, and after the sunset, you have to deal with electric lights coming from outside. We also had to wake up very early because the sunshine was too early during summer in London. I don't recommend it for families with little kids, and not in summer until they solve the issues of air conditioning and curtains!

I only stayed for one night, but I enjoyed my time there. The room was clean and spacious, and the view over the valley from the property was spectacular. While checking in, I was told that there was a complimentary Bedouin dinner being served by the pool. It was a selection of mezze and a massive mix grill dish with rice, chicken, lamb, potatoes, onions, etc -- way more than a single person could ever eat. It was delicious and much appreciated, but I did feel guilty about how little of it I was able to finish. The breakfast buffet was simple and excellent -- the foul with fixings was a highlight for me. All staff that I encountered were helpful and friendly.

We loved the Bedouin party held outside dinner time. The food was exceptional, and we especially loved the breakfast buffet. The staff was very kind and warmly welcomed us and tended to our needs of transportation, and other small items. The manager, Mousa Khlaifat, himself welcomed us and was present to make sure we were 100% satisfied with our stay. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely return in the future.

Nice pleasant staff, good facilities and clean hotel. Breakfast is good. One restaurant in the hotel was active for lunch and dinner, food and service is good. We had Turkish bath, the hostess was efficient and good.

There is no information on tourist locations. We asked front desk and they keep referring to local taxis. The water bottles provided are small, they keep supplying as per requirement, however, hotel can look to provide bigger bottles to avoid unnecessarily plastic waste. There is no dryers in the washroom, they provide on request.

The hotel is situated perfectly for a short stay in Wadi Musa, 5 minutes drive from the Petra Visitor’s Centre. It’s clean, well presented and has everything you need to feel comfortable! The staff were all superb and incredibly welcoming. Particular thanks to the guys on bar duty who introduced me to some locally brewed beers and Khamees at the outdoor restaurant who knew his stuff and was happy to explain the local dishes. We felt really well cared for!

First of all, the hotel is very nice, clean and good size of room and common areas. By far the best thing is the views from the restaurants and rooms. But even better is the hotel staff. Honestly, they are above the standar. The waiter in the restaurant (Khalifah Yahya) made my wife´s day even more special (it was her birthday) by preparing an incredible surprise with a cake, candles, flower, wine and a "birthday song" with lights out that made my wife go emotional.. and the best thing is that while he was doing all of this, he really looked doing it by his heart and enjoy seen us so happy. Really, best staff and person I had ever seen in a hotel. Thanks!! Also Ahmed Hilali, Ayman Nawafleh and Ahmed Rawajeh were super good with us, helping us in every moment. And We dont remember the other names, but really, ALL were incredible!! Thanks for making this stay even more perfect.

Everything was perfect!

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and elegant. The stuff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was upgraded (at no additional cost) from a standard to one with a mountain view, which was breathtaking. The food at the traditional tent (dinner time) was very delicious, and so was the shisha. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there. A general note to tourists: during your stay in Petra, keep in mind there are no Uber rides. You'll have to use the taxi. That's why it's a little inconvenient to get from the hotel to the visitors' center (where you'll enter to start your trip through Petra). Taxis are quite expensive in comparison to Amman (8 JOD for a 2 minute ride to drop you off at Petra's entrance. This is why, it's better to use a shuttle bus from the hotel (the hotel already has 3 busses at 7, 8 and 9 am. I think it would be best if there was another bus ride or 2 mid day (1 or 2 pm).

The team at the hotel was so accommodating to our requests - We had a bad stomach after 2 weeks of travel and were very sick. The hotel manager helped us to coordinate with the kitchen and find a guest who’s a doctor for me to consult. The team always made sure we have enough water to hydrate ourselves. The chief Chef Feraz (hope I spell his name right) made an exception for us to cook our homemade food which is not on the menu. We really appreciated the help from the Marriot team and will definitely recommend it to future guests!

Beautiful views over the mountains with lovely sunsets. Great variety at breakfast and kind staff

It was about a 7min drive to petras entrance (we felt it was worth it for the views). It was only international cuisine available in the inside restaurant, as it was quite windy we didnt manage to eat much of the delicious local food as a result as it was only served outside in the tent.
