My second time staying at this hotel. I confirmed my impression from the first visit a few years ago: this is a model hotel. Before anything else, a hotel should deliver a quiet, clean, well temperature controlled room. That's what this hotel does perfectly. What stands out is how absolutely silent the rooms are. You don't hear peep from anything or anyone, Not one peep! No banging doors, no TV through the walls, nobody walking around above you, nothing from the plumbing or the aircon or the elevators, no housekeepers banging about,, no traffic noise. Just utter silence. Amazing. All hotels should have this kind of construction and noise insulation. Other than that, it's a Hilton Garden inn. That's a business hotel not a luxury hotel. It has and does everything you would expect of a business hotel, and that's it. Perfect for me. Oh, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport for a layover, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent. Check-in was smooth and staff were friendly and professional. The room was modern, clean, and quiet, despite being at the airport. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the blackout curtains and soundproofing after a flight. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with a mix of international and local options. Highly recommend for anyone transiting through Frankfurt or needing a convenient base close to the airport. I’ll definitely stay again.

The location is in the Frankfurt Airport SQUARE containing long-distance train station, restaurants, retail shops and offices. Having a REWE shop is convenient and useful small grocery offering also a buffet restaurant. The Rossmann shop has cosmetics, travel necessities and snacks for the traveler who might have forgotten something. The hotel is moderately priced but has location, location, location. The rooms are quiet with good bedding. Preference would be a an upper floor with a city forest view. There is a health facility with good choice of equipment and a common sauna and steam room.

For those with mobility limitations, the hotel is a walk from Terminal 1 and the people mover has been removed in the connecting hall from terminal to SQUARE. A covered access from terminal is available, as is a short walk from arrival outside to SQUARE.

The stay at the hotel was excellent. The room was clean, well-equipped, and very quiet — you couldn't hear the nearby airport at all, which is amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hotel gym was excellent — equipped with towels, drinks, and everything needed for a varied workout. I really liked it. Well done!

It would have been nice if there had been a basic amenities kit in the room, including a small toothpaste and toothbrush, a shower cap, and the usual little items that most hotels provide. In this case, the airport took my toothpaste, and I arrived very late when everything was already closed. It was a bit disappointing.

Before a long international flight I love to stay here for a more relaxed departure. I check in myself and my larger suitcase at Lufthansa the night before to avoid the morning rush. Then I can proceed directly to security and the gate the following morning. The room is clean and modern with a good bed and shower. It is fairly quiet as well. Since it is in the air terminal there are numerous restaurants as well as a reasonably priced Rewe store for drinks, snacks, and food and personal items. An inside train station provides access to the German and European trains.

Location is naturally very important when one has an early morning flight, so this hotel is perfect in that regard. A very convenient restaurant downstairs with some tasteful options and great staff. Comfortable beds, and suitable bathroom facilities.

The rooms are quite small meaning that there is unfortunately very little room for luggage, and even less when the sofa is in use as the third bed for our child. Reception staff were unable to provide a solution to the fact that our two-room booking was accommodated on different floors of the hotel and lift fobs did not allow travel between floors. A problem when travelling with family.

We overnighted between flights, and the location was great. We were able to hop on a train into town right from the complex.

Directions for walking to the property could have been better. Our phone map would not work in the airport complex because it’s so big and multiple layers, so it would have been nice for the hotel to let us know to follow signs to the hotels. We thought we had to go outside and it was raining, so we took a taxi, only to then find out we could have walked all indoors, as we did for our departure.

Only an overnight stay as we arrived late at night. Typical 'expensive' hotel ..... great facilities but a little impersonal. Check out at midday was great after a long flight. Breakfast was great...lots of options.

A bit hard to find by signage alone. Airport signs great up to a point and then just seemed to disappear. Luckily I had researched from other reviews and had a sort of idea where it was. Late night at Frankfurt airport, there didn't seem to be anyone official to ask directions so we wandered around for a bit!!.

After a delayed flight and with no luggage or toiletries it was so nice to be welcomed at the reception by a friendly face. They also brought a toothbrush kit for me. Since it was a short stay where I only had time to shower, charge my phone and sleep I couldn't check out the breakfast or any other facilities, but that just means the friendly welcome (a Danish guy, I think?) and room service made for such a difference. Good water pressure in the shower, outlets on the nightstand for chargers, kettle for tea. All my basic needs covered. They also send you thorough directions on how to find the hotel. The first part was a bit confusing and I ended up walking up the wrong stairs a couple of times, but after the first struggle it was easy peasy.

I created a small flood in the bathroom because of the shower curtain.

It’s an American style hotel, if you’re missing that.

While it is technically walkable from the airport, there is no signage pointing to it from the airport! You have to know the secret; from the Departure level (not Arrivals!), follow signs to Long-Distance Trains. Keep going toward these signs until you think you’re going to fall off the edge of the earth, and then you’ll start to see gray signs pointing to hotels, including this one. You will eventually find yourself in a mall; Hilton and HGI are to the right, upstairs.
