Perhaps because I booked months in advance, although it was high travel season in the city, they placed me in a larger corner room, which was quiet and very spacious. The location is a little away from the tourist area (thus quiet), but a minute walk from the subway station and multiple bus stops, and surrounded by convenience stores and cool cafes.

The room is bigger than the normal Japanese hotel that I've been to. The bed is clean and comfortable. Located near the subway station exit 2. If you have luggage, take the exit3-1 where there's an elevator. It's quite a walk from Kawaramachi shopping street but we enjoy the walk back.

The hotel isn't near any tourist spots. You need to take a train/bus to go places.

Location, location, location. Super close to multiple supermarkets, a few eating spots and subway station was less than 5mins walk. Super convenient. Area was quiet and less crowded compared to other places, but didn't feel far away with most places only a few stations away. Staff service was great too. They managed to get our bags to the next hotel in Osaka worry-free.

Very clean, outstanding location and great amenities in the hotel and efficient courteous staff who speak English. Very competitive price for gbe standard which was excellent

Very comfortable room and very clean. I was also happy that there were washing machines within the hotel. In the reception area there are great amenities. All the body/face wash products were very good. Staff was welcoming and it was an easy check-in and check-out.

We had a great stay at Hearton hotel. Was a 15 minute walk to the market and right beside a metro station. The room was big and squeaky clean. Was super good value for money and the the staff were friendly.

Just a tiny thing but the Wi-Fi can glitch temporarily if you need to work there. Only for a few seconds though.

Location is great. There's a convenience store nearby and train station is a stone's throw away. There's washing machine in the hotel and there was heater in the bathroom. Staff was polite and always available to give us a hand.

Good location, near the subway, near 7-11. The hotel is big and very clean. Staff is useful with smily face. There is free toiletries at the first floor front of the elevators. Also have free ice, laundry machine and coin vending on the room floor.

Reviewed this hotel before....when in Kyoto I stay at the Hearton. A simple, but perfectly located hotel in the heart of Kyoto with all necessary facilities. This time I was especially surprised about the price for a one-person-room. Payed about 35EUR per night.....the hotel has never been very expensive, but this is unbeatable for the quality you get.

Amazing stay. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Unless you find cheaper options I don't see a reason why not to choose this hotel. And its price it's very convenient, given the location. Amazing staff, great facilities, good hygiene.

The Light switch located ONLY next to the bed is a bit of a bad idea, but nothing really problematic.
