- Air-conditioning of the room was slow at times, which made the room stuffy - Short outdoor distance required between hotel and Osaka station, may need to be aware of weather conditions

The location was second to none.- A short stroll under cover between station and Hotel. Room had power adaptors built in. Not a bad view and close to all amenities, food etc

Pillows were "soggy" - I don't mean wet but kind of uncomfortable. Decor seemed a little dated. Small TV for today's standards.

Another great stay! Hilton Osaka did not disappoint. It lives up to the Hilton brand and it is located in a very high profile area with nice stores and restaurants for fine dining even within Hilton Plaza. The absolute BEST part is its location; it sits right across the street from Osaka Station which already hosts a huge mall with one of the biggest Pokemon Centers, AND it has an underground connection to the station for those rainy or cold days.

The fact that they have a Hilton West and Hilton East tower (each standing tall and close to each other with pretty huge signs) might be somewhat confusing for first-time visitors as it is not clear that these are two separate towers with no connection to each other and you might end up walking into the wrong one :)

We love the hotel staff from concierge, reception and wait staff at the buffet breakfast. Our luggage got damaged when we shipped it from kyoto, so we ended up buying a new one. The staff at the concierge were happy to dispose our old one. When we checked out, one of the guys from concierge even helped us with our luggages when we went to the limousine bus stop across the road.

There is a bit of a wait for the lifts. Less options to choose from their buffet breakfast. Hilton tokyo bay and hilton tokyo are a bit better. TV in the room needs an upgrade, including the toilets and bidets.

Breakfast is excellent, staff is amazing and super helpful, and the location is great. The room was nice.

We were offered a twin bedroom with two single beds even though we were two adults and a 4 year old child. It would have been okay if it was at least a queen bed. A third pull up bed was available, but only upon extra payment. So we felt like “your child stays for free”, but it’s like she wasn’t there, as there was no bed or towel for her. Also we were very disappointed with the TV as we couldn’t cast to the TV from our phone. There were only Japanese channels available. Of course we spent most of our day out, but with a child, it would have been good to have this option for those days we needed a break or when she was sick. Overall, it’s a great hotel, but for adults.

Spacious room, well-lit, with good support for work. Very comfy bed, and good facilities and amenities in the bathroom. Good location in Umeda, wit great access to shops, restaurants, bars, and the station. Room service has a proper printed menu, no need to access QR codes on the TV and order off your Smartphone (Hooray!). Food was also very good. The usual helpful Hilton staff were everywhere.

The lobby is a crowded mess! Two sets of elevators, main entrance, and bar/ cafe all fighting for space with the lobby lounge chairs, leaving little space for check-in and check-out. Luckily the hotel provide extra staff to organise guests.

Rooms are OMG spacious and delightful after enduring a few nights in an 18sq mtr room hotel typical in japan. So convenient with JR osaka station across the road. Service is typical japanese style and impeccable. The decent sized gym also attached to has small sauna, onsen hot bath and pool. Their twin rooms can actually fit a 3rd bed so good for families with 3 kids (hard to find this in a lot of japanese hotels) so i think will need to stick to western hotel chains so not to be disappointed. Love the big pump crabtree bathroom amenities, hot shower and bathtub.

Inhouse dining is on the pricier side.

Perfect location across Umeda Station and next to Herbis Osaka for the limousine bus to Kansai Airport. Christmas decorations in the lobby were beautiful and outstanding. Our room was spacious enough and comfortable for 3 persons. The room was very quiet; we did not hear the train or traffic or other visitors. The staff at front desk was courteous. The staff at concierge was so kind and helpful.

Some suggestions: The bathroom lighting could be much brighter. The shower door could be extended about a foot or more to avoid shower water spraying on the bathroom floor. The dishes and room could have been cleaner. For example, wipe and disinfect the bedside vanity tops and table tops. Also the floor could have been cleaner.

All Hotel staff were very helpful from the night operator ( Mr Ogawa) to concierge. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast staff were great as made to feel welcome on arrival and when finishing up.  Breakfast choice was fine and wide selection. My Place staff in particular the lunch Manager, and server Ms O and evening server Ms Numera/Kuruma were very welcoming and always pleasant with a smile and provided first class service. Food was good too. Also good atmosphere. A lot of local Japanese business people and Ladies used it for casual meetings with friends. Would recommend My Place. Had Evening dinner in Folk Kitchen but felt less choice which was fine for me but maybe not everyone. The Food was good quality. Tried 2 of the Restaurants beneath the hotel for Tempura and Kobe beef. Both were very good. Bedroom was fine . Great shower. I stayed an extra 4 nights as realised the Hilton Hotel was ideally located as a base to explore Osaka using local trains and subway, as well as Tokyo and Hiroshima using the Shinkansan. Preferred being in Osaka than Tokyo.

Hotel was fine Feel Booking .com Directions from Arrival in Kansai Airport to Osaka Station and from there to Hotel could be better. Suggest a brief guide on how to buy train tickets using the machines and station wall map . Too much reliance on JP Passes!

Luggage handling was great; employees were very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable bed and good breakfast.

The manager (?) of the cafe on the first floor was very rude. While waiting for the limousine bus I was eating something at one of the seats in the hall and he informed me in a very rude way that I was not allowed to eat there and had to order something from the cafe or else leave immediately (for the record, it was not busy). I was only allowed to sit on the marble uncomfortable benches. I can't understand why there is no decent place where you can sit without having to order something. Moreover, he could have informed me in a polite manner.
