Friendly professional staff at the front desk. Ample parking options. Free breakfast included eggs and another protien (sausage), so a step ahead of the breakfasts that only offer carbs. Rooms and rest of hotel was clean. Our room was quiet at the end of the hallway. Convenient walk across the road to the waterfront, the mall, and around the block to a brewery and downtown shops. Saw lots of reviews about it being in a sketchy area of town. There are a lot of characters in the Soo, and the flavour of neighbourhoods seem to change constantly on a dime, so maybe this is unavoidable in many areas. Didn't have any concerns for my family's safety, or security of my vehicle. Keep you head up like you would in any city you are unfamiliar with.

Lovely room! Separated into 2 rooms, one with a kitchenette and breakfast bar, with a fireplace and tv, the other the beds and tv. Lovely bathrobes, and the bathroom had a jet tub. Breakfast good, staff very friendly and helpful.

Concerned about safety in the bathroom. No grab bars in the tub area, making it difficult for a senior or anyone with a minor disability to get into and out of the tub. The tile floor with a loose bathmat is a recipe for a serious slip and fall. Could not get the tv to work, and I have a Roku tv at home, Roku would not load. No instruction on how to use the tv.

The bed was very comfortable and the facility generally speaking was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was better than most I've had at other hotels also - fresh eggs and sausage that didn't look or taste like they'd been sitting all morning!

The TV didn't work and the air conditioning was constantly on and off. I turned it off myself for a while but then of course the room was too hot. It was just noisy and made the room a little dry for my liking because I'm not big on AC. I was only there for a night though so it was mostly fine.

The breakfast options are quite limited, with no dedicated Halal choices for Muslims except for muesli with yogurt. While scrambled eggs were available, they were placed next to sausages, and the same serving spoon was used for both dishes, which is not suitable for Muslims due to cross-contamination concerns. It would be beneficial to offer clearly marked Halal options and ensure separate utensils to maintain dietary compliance.

Parking, room, staff, and price were great. Comfortable large room. Love the garage parking with cameras. Checked in with a personable young man. The next morning, a young lady was very helpful.

Unfortunately there was a used towel hanging on back of bathroom door that was missed when I checked in. The breakfast room is dated and not very welcoming. But the breakfast itself was great

The location was convenient, the parking lot was spacious, and the staff—especially the Indian front desk clerk—was very friendly. Breakfast started early at 6:30 AM, which was helpful.

Soundproofing needs serious improvement. We could clearly hear a baby crying from the neighboring room. Also, if you have a rooftop cargo box, you can only park outside, which may not be ideal in bad weather.

The underground parking was a plus . The room was Clean one wee stocked with towels and The breakfast was good, but it could have had some hard-boiled eggs And ran out of pancakes

The toilet was very low ( hard to get up with a bad hip and knees ).. they front desk person was often away .. the hall carpets could use a steam cleaning .it's was not the best part of the city .

We enjoyed the breakfast. All of the staff were exceptionally kind, from when we checked in, housekeeping, through to breakfast, and right up to check out.

It was our own doing because we booked an interior room, but we found the lack of windows in the interior room a bit tricky. Not having light was difficult for us. Thankfully we arrived quite late and didn't stay long in the morning. The room had a bit of a smell, I wondered if it was the flooring/glue.

Comfy bed, both kitchen and bathroom sinks! Quiet heat and fridge. Underground parking accommodated the trailer we were pulling. Very convenient location just blocks from the border entrance. Fine internet. Great morning walk on the nearby boardwalk. In colder weather, it looks like mall_walking would be possible just across the street.

No raisin bran for breakfast, but they did have oatmeal, some fruit juices, plus traditional foods I no longer eat. TV would have been more useful if they had provided a list of available channels. Not much to complain about...

The bar, the host of the bar/ restaurant/ game room area was amazing. He went above and beyond his normal routine to feed us and keep the area open for us as we arrived late in the evening and were very hungry and needing to relax. I wish i knew his name to thank him.

Booked 4 rooms. When arriving, the desk worker, without any urging from myself, upgraded 2 of the rooms to larger beds. Upon checking out the next morning, i noticed that i was charged more for the upgraded rooms. The morning desk help could not explain why i was charged more, nor was he able to rectify the over charge.
