Staff were very friendly. Hotel is good value. Breakfast buffet is descent. Not worth the $15 individually but worth it if you make your reservation with the breakfast included 😉

Hotel is on a one way street. Traffic can be a little crazy during the morning. Don't miss the entrance or you'll have to go around. Takes about 15 minutes!

Spacious room with a large bed and a feeling of luxury even if somewhat dated. Hourly shuttles to the airport was a welcomed perk as well, plus, being able to leave our rented vehicle at the hotel was a huge plus thanks to the partnership with Alamo. Staff were helpful as well, getting towels for the pool for us and setting up things as well.

The resort is getting a dated feel to it - but it's still a welcomed feel in a 3rd world country. The price of the food at the Quattro restaurant was a bit high for the quality of the food and how long it took to make, but was the only place open that we could take a family to later in the evening (circa 8pm).

After a long travel, I decided to stay close to the airport and I did not regret it. While the hotel has gotten a bit into the years, you feel the sense of luxury and it is very well maintained & beautifully decorated. There is just a very nice vibe everywhere, from the restaurant, the play corner, reception and especially the pool area. We loved their outside space and you forget you are close to the airport and get into the tropical bliss immediately. We especially loved their very large heated jacuzzi area. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms comfy, clean and you had everything you need. I will likely stay here again at the end of our trip.

Room was clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet was a nice spread, the waiting staff was very friendly and willing to help with any questions or food requests. Very much appreciated. Lots of decent dining options near the property, we drove to Plaza Cariari (4 minutes drive) where we saw multiple restaurants open at 9:00 pm.

Would have appreciated if the concierge had mentioned about amenities at the property. We had driven 4 hours and could have rested in the hot tub had we known it was available on the property. We only got to know while walking towards the breakfast area in the morning.

The pool complex was great - large enough to have lots of space when swimming or relaxing by the water. The view over the mountains from our window was also gorgeous. The room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also quite good, and sitting in the courtyard to eat it with the birds was lovely. Desk staff were mostly quite pleasant and helpful.

Mostly we were surprised at how far this was from the downtown, and how hard it was to get there (no public transit, and even a taxi took nearly an hour, especially in rush hour). The immediate neighbourhood could have been nice (fairly upscale suburban houses) but the adjoining highway was loud and ever present. Clearly its location is mainly useful for its proximity to the airport, or to adjoining conference facilities. Aspects of the hotel need updating - like the ventilation system (impossible to figure out) and the weak shower (designed for someone of much shorter stature)! The in-hotel bistro was deafeningly loud and rather cramped. & given the preponderance of North American tourists it was a bit odd that there wasn’t one English tv station.

Just outside central San Jose so good location. The porters and reception staff were very welcoming and informed. The GYM is amazing with cleaning sprays and so much equipment I was in there for over an hour. Breakfast was enjoyable though did notice some fruit flies on the cakes. I also received vouchers for 2 pool bar mocktails which was a nice touch. Location is good as its not in central San JOSE which I would avoid as busy and dangerous. Meals in the restaurant were a good size. Pool area clean. I was able to continue using facilities till after I checked out and moved onto the next place.

I thought it was overpriced for what it was. Rooms a bit old, Bath tub in the room a old / dated but overall clean hotel.

Airport shuttle (20 minute ride or so) provided with reservation. Check in was excellent. The pool facilities were very nice. Breakfast and late checkout were appreciated. Good water pressure and nice hot shower. The rooms are dated, but for the price more than acceptable. We asked for a quiet room and slept well as the entry room in the upgraded room provided excellent noise reduction from the hallway. Due to the emergency weather conditions in the country, the bars and restaurants on site were understaffed. Not the hotel's fault. So, we took an Uber ($4) to a great strip of restaurants about .5 miles from the hotel.

Hotel is dated, but commensurate with the price charged for the rooms.

We arrived at the hotel around 21.00 after a long day of travelling from the UK. The man at reception was very friendly and helpful as was the bellboy. We were offered a room upgrade, which was really nice. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite, the room was huge and included facilities such as Jacuzzi, sauna, balcony, kitchen and very comfortable beds. We stayed for two nights at the start of our trip and for one night at the end (we were also upgraded to the same room on our return). We picked this hotel due to the close proximity to the airport (less than 10mins). There are several restaurants on site but we did not eat at any of them. The pool is quite big but the pool area was very quiet. There is also a pool bar but the drinks are quite expensive. Overall, our stay was perfect because of the room upgrade and convenient to the airport. The buffet breakfast cost $15, was really nice and included hot and cold options. The staff at the breakfast room were friendly and the service was good.

The rooms are a little dated, though this certainly did not make a difference to our stay. The pool bar drinks were a little expensive. The location is good providing you don't want to walk anywhere.

The hot pool was incredibly dirty on 1 visit, then 2 weeks later appeared to have been cleaned. The pool table is so unlevel that balls roll away once placed. The sticks were destroyed years ago and not replaced. Despite paying for a delux room, it had no fridge, and the 2 cups for coffee were paper instead of glass, no water drinking cups.

The staff was welcoming and kind. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the AC worked great! The building is a little outdated, but beautiful. Absolutely loved the gym! Best hotel gym I have experienced. Huge variety of equipment from free weights, to cable and hammer strength machines. Breakfast was delicious! Nice access to a little market about 15 minute walk down the street. And a nutritious little eatery called sip juice bar.

Had a really nice and large balcony, but the door was locked preventing access.
