The hotel room itself was everything you would want. It was clean, comfortable and safe.

The fridge in the room froze all of the food I purchased (hoping to not have to rely on restaurants during my stay, but all the fridge food was ruined). The room was not quiet at all. A middle school tour group was staying there and they were running through halls, slamming doors and they descended on the breakfast area in a swarm every morning. I got a crank call to my room, someone rattled my door in the middle of the night. The hotel itself has wonderful accommodations, I just wish it was made known to me that a tour group was there when I made my reservation.

The shuttle driver was friendly and we had good conversation with him. The bathroom was outstanding; roomy with lots of towels.

Evening front desk staff not friendly. Although two people were behind the desk as we waited for another customer to finish, the second person avoided all eye contact and seemed to busy herself without even acknowledging our presence. She could have at least said "Good evening" and advised us she was busy with other matters. Secondly, we flew into Dulles Airport. When I made the reservation, I noticed the hotel was listed as 2.2 miles from the airport. So, I thought a short ride after a long day. Nope; we drove for quite distance and took much longer than expected.

I liked the breakfast that was included. I really appreciated the airport shuttle to and from the airport.

It was a very pleasant stay considering I was stranded in Washington because of weather. It wasn’t my choice, but the hotel was very accommodating and helpful. I asked for a few out of the ordinary things and the staff was wonderful.

Self-service breakfast was exceptional with a variety of options to choose from. My son enjoyed making his own waffles in the waffle iron and I enjoyed the multiple coffee options. A big and welcoming dining area was also available. We really enjoyed our stay as we usually do at all Hampton Inn & Suites.

My reservation was confirmed through booking.com and somehow did not go through to the hotel. I did have to call customer service to resolve the issue, because I did not want to get double charged. The staff at the hotel we extremely helpful throughout my trouble shooting and we were able to work it out. I was very grateful for both customer service through the app and the staff at the hotel. The pool was also unavailable, but it wasn't a big deal for us.

Staff and Manager great. Employee got me snacks from pantry because I hadn't eaten and it was late, and I was feeling a little queasy. Manager followed up by offering more snacks and a ginger ale. Walked me to room to double check my digital key when I told him it wasn't working. It still didn't work but they gave me a regular key.

Everything was great. I had to leave super early before breakfast but managed to get a muffin.

The clock in the room did not work properly and could not be adjusted The microwave did not work. It seems nobody cares to fix anything. Bad Impression. Location in a construction site far away from IAD. The pickup van does not take passengers for the hotel as others do at 2 locations, 2B and 2G, only at 2G. Very inconvenient to drag heavy luggage from one end of the airport to the other.

Free shuttle service provided by the hotel was a really nice addition. Without it we would be stranded on the airport. I am not sure if the service is available during night hours, but they picked us up around 10PM without problems.

Free WiFi that requires us to sign-up for some membership with the hotel is not really 'free'. Although the membership is free, it takes time to review all terms and conditions and you have to provide personal data to sign up.

The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable, and the television had sufficient channels to meet my needs.

When I arrived at the hotel, very tired, I had a great deal of difficulty checking in. I had my confirmation number from Booking.com, but the clerk on duty said that it wasn't the Hampton Inn number and he couldn't check me in. After a long period, he said that there was note saying that I was already checked in. After another period they checked the room that I supposedly was in and was told that it was, indeed occupied. Ultimately, he gave me another room, I wasn't sure that there wouldn't be a charge. Fortunately, a more senior person came in and sorted everything, but I had lost two hours of rest just trying to get checked in.

Room is very clean and quiet, bed is comfortable and location is close to nearby commercial center, it’s easy to get food and anything you need.

The shower place only has a shower curtain and no separation measures on floor to prevent water coming out. So after taking shower, water runs all around the toilet. Maybe this’s because we are allocated a room for handicapped people, cos there’s a folding chair inside the shower place.

As with all Hamptons I have stayed in, the hotel was modern, cleaning and quiet with very comfortable beds. The addition of a free Airport shuttle was appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast (particularly the coffee) was excellent.

The hotel is quite remote. The nearby retail/restaurant complex was all board up. So you needed a car or taxi to get anywhere apart from hotel and airport.
