Everything about our stay was ideal and perfect. When you have travelled from England and been up.for 21 hours, 2 or 3 of which are going through the chaos of US Immigration, you want an easy ride to a wonderfully comfortable large bed in a cool room, and nothing could have ended the journey to DC better than the Westin.. The complimentary hotel shuttle bus is so efficient twice an hour each way and the hotel staff friendly. The hotel location is just 10 minutes away from the airport but itself an oasis of calm with a pretty lake view in front of the hotel. The bed and pillows were just right and we slept very well. Before travelling on into Virginia we had a leisurely breakfast which was an excellent and comprehensive buffet of quality, except perhaps for the mini pastries. Overall it is the best airport hotel I have ever stayed in. I can think of only one at Quebec which rivals for such a comfortable nights sleep. If I fly in via DC again it would have no competition

This was sent to the hotel: "Just a brief note to express our appreciation for the service provided by your shuttle driver Oscar last night (May 3rd) during our late pick up from IAD. There have been cancellations and there were a lot of people waiting (some coming from overseas). Oscar went above and beyond to accommodate the crown and luggage, minimizing the stress everyone was going through. So… THANK YOU!!! Needless to say, we’ve an excellent night of sleep, great shower, and an efficient drop of at IAD early this morning. It just happened that Oscar came again." On a separated note, the breakfast was also great.

A bit busy but nothing out of the ordinary for an airport hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Westin Washington Dulles Airport, I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, who made check-in seamless and efficient. The room itself was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed, with modern decor and all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of traveling from Spain. Overall, I highly recommend Westin Washington Dulles Airport to anyone visiting D.C. I had been left stranded in Washington airport by BA at 11:30 pm. I was supposed to be in Chicago. There was no sign of any BA staff and their counter was shut. I booked the Westin then called them and they sent a shuttle bus for me within 10 minutes even though the regular service for that day had stopped. I was greeted and made to feel valued and welcome on arrival. The room was perfect and I felt stress free almost immediately, albeit BA had ruined my day. It was great to get back to excellent customer service. Next morning the breakfast was brilliant, service excellent and timely shuttle back to the airport to get me on my way again in a great frame of mind...

Nothing - I really liked it.

Very spacious room with all the things one could need: storage, bathroom amenities, comfy beds, and a massive flat-screen TV all made for a comfortable stay. Hotel was very quiet at night and good for sleeping. Breakfast was good with a number of options. The shuttle is quick and efficient, with very amicable staff to help. Ours was a short stay, but the storage space and comfort would make a longer one just as good.

Great hotel - especially if you need to be close to the airport. Free airport shuttle available that runs frequently. We needed a place to stay after airline delays and the hotel staff were super flexible and helpful in providing us access to the rooms early. Fitness centre is expansive for an airport hotel and great to have access to that while waiting for a long flight. Would recommend.

The room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The waiter for my Sunday evening meal, Shaheed, was exceptional. The crab cakes were some of the best that I have ever had.

When I tried to get to the 5am shuttle, the doors to the elevator corridor were closed. So I walked the hall 3 times before I was able to recognize them. So I missed the shuttle and had to wait 30 minutes.

The location is less than 10 minutes from the airport and within a short driving distance from restaurants and fast food. I really appreciated that they cleaned my room without having it requested. The TV’s have a Netflix feature so you’re not limited to the typical channels. The bed, pillows, and linens were comfortable. I had the best sleep I’ve had in years both nights here; even better than being at my own home. The rooms were quiet and updated.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. WiFi is not complimentary and is an additional $10-$14 per night. Parking options include valet or the parking garage. Parking garage is $10 per night.

It has a convenient location for my needs, easy access, spacious, and with a very friendly staff.

It was a little bit too chilly. Part of the reason is there is the revolving doors which are fine, but there is a regular door then when open if it’s called outside, it lets the breeze in which makes the lobby chillier than normal.

The shuttle to and from the airport was timely. We greatly appreciated this free service! Checking in and out of the hotel was quick and easy. The room was very nice and we're were very impressed with it after being at the airport for several hours due to multiple flight delays.

There was nothing that we didn't like.
